1. Are you named after someone? Yup, my dad.

2. When was the last time you cried? A couple days ago, watching reaction videos to the Adam Sandler movie Click. I think that’s might’ve been the first movie to ever make me cry, in fact.

3. Do you have kids? Nope, but I’d like them one day.

4. What sports do you play? Zero, zip, nada. Closest thing I have to a sport is my daily rollerblading.

5. Do you use sarcasm? I’m often sardonic, often facetious, but almost never sarcastic.

6. What is the first thing you notice about people? Depends on the person.

7. What’s your eye color? Dark brown.

8. Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings, every day of the week.

9. Any talents? Not much I haven’t already mentioned, I don’t think.

10. Where were you born? Manhattan I think.

11. What are your hobbies? Skating, watching and making YouTube videos, watching movies, tv, etc, and playing video games.

12. Do you have any pets? One dog and two cats, but I’ve had three other dogs and three turtles over the course of my life.

13. How tall are you? 5’7’’

14. Favorite subject in school? ELA

15. Dream Job? I don’t really have one of those. I’m not a super ambitious person, and if I was I don’t think those ambitions would necessarily tie to a career

Are you named after someone? Nope. I’m named after a project my father worked on (the Mars rover missions) and my mom’s favorite day of the week, Sunday.

When was the last time you cried? A few days ago. It was for a role though so that doesn’t really count (?). In a non-acting capacity I’d say a week ago when I had the wonderful realization that a 40 hour work week isn’t condusive to my creative process and school schedule and cried in relief as I put in my two-weeks notice.

Do you have kids? Nope and I don’t want to have any theough pregnancy. I don’t like the idea of being physically pregnant and my family has a few things genetically that I wouldn’t want to pass down to my children like breast cancer and ovarian cancer. But I want to adopt three kids someday—preferably preteens or teens because I hate knowing that there are kids going through life in foster care and are phased out of the system at 18 with no experience and they’re expected to either sink or swim. It’s pretty heartless tbh.

What sports do you play/have played? Oh gosh, okay, there’s a lot. I was captain of track for all four years, swim and dive for three. I was the ace pitcher of my HS’s baseball team. Played volleyball. Did tennis for a year but didn’t stick with it. I surf, skateboard, snowboard, and rock climb and I’m thinking of picking up dirt biking because my friends from my work won’t leave me alone about it.

Do you use sarcasm? I’m a writer. The answer is pretty self-explanatory. lol.

What is the first thing you notice about people? Their tells and mannerisms. I always notice if someone’s words match their mannerisms and behavior and that tells me half of what I need to know about the and what they won’t say aloud.

What’s your eye colour? Dark brown.

Scary movies or happy endings? In the words of Tulio and Miguel, both. Both is good.

Any talents? I can write and play a mean fiddle/violin solo. I also have a talent for injuring myself but bouncing back quickly and with little fear toward repeating the same mistake that got me hurt in the first play (broke my nose twice snowboarding, still go up to the mountains every winter).

Where were you born? The forests of North Carolina. My family has since moved.

What are your hobbies? Writing (the love of my life), going to the gardening center for more plants because there’s no such thing as too many, hiking, biking, running, rock climbing with friends, annoying/teasing my friends while they’re rock climbing, discovering something new in the city on my days off, camping, calling @remusjohnslupin a Sindar and cackling like a bog witch when she scolds me for it, etc… The list is endless.

Do you have any pet? I have a monster named Mitzy who claims to be a chihuahua but I know she’s a gremlin larping as a dog.

How tall are you? 5’10”. Idk how many centimeters that is exact. I think it’s ~178cm.

Favourite subject in school? English, geology, and art. I can’t pick so it’s a three-way draw.

Dream job? Writer-Director that moonlights as a contributing writer to Scientific American.

🍂Teaser: Myth—Chapter Three🍂

I didn't remember making it this far. My head had been such a mess--something about the fog that had been brought down on it feeling sticky. Like it had been forced. How could I have driven that far without remembering it? The last clear memory I had before the spin out that I was almost certain now had happened was the bus stop at the corner of the PCH and Temescal Canyon. The bus stop closest to the bluffs by the Palisades.

Another light flickered on as we drove up the short path to dad's--around another bend and over a short bridge haloed by small stringed bulb lights that hung in a zigzag above the bridge. Waiting for us on the other side was home. A two-floor three bedroom home with dark brown shingles and deep blue wood panels that dad had built when him and mom purchased the land months after getting married. They both worked in medicine despite being the children of hippies. Dad was in accounting and mom as pediatric surgeon. That was why I wanted to go into medicine. To be like them. I wanted to be like her because I missed her.

The rosary was moms. She used to fidget with it whenever she was thinking on something that she wasn't sure how to tackle.

Saint Jude, the patron saint of lost causes, hopeless cases, desperate situations, and hospitals.

Dad had gifted me the rosary two years ago when I became a surgical intern.

She'd be so proud of you, kiddo.

I hadn’t killed my patient. They were a lost cause from the beginning.

I can write a whole essay about how Pavitr’s and Hobie’s interactions with Miles kinda change their vibe entirely if you think of them as Gwen tired them OUT talking about this boy so they are kinda teasing her through him

- Pavitr roasting him for the chai tea thing? - Gwen said this mf was the smartest guy she ever met, so I have to point out when he makes a mistake to mess with her

- Bleeding armpits? - Gwen said he had the absolute coolest style, so we gotta be roasting him a bit

- Making jokes about not believing in consistency and such and then doing the opposite? - classic way to mess with someone lightheartedly, especially someone’s crush when you are their friend-and-almost-kinda-sibling

And also

- Helping out with his powers? - Gwen said he got the hang of things extremely quickly, but he is an entirely self-taught kid, so ofc we’re gonna help him

Basically I’m just saying it’s very easy to believe that their instant desire to joke around with Miles, help him out and just make him part of the group is already believable, but if Gwen literally talked their ears off about him, and they clearly love her and care about her, it’s even more believable.

🌊 INTERTIDAL - Chapter 29: Married Life

Eyes blowing wide as they looked back and forth at each other, Divina and Kent lit up with childlike smiles as the music began to play. It was their favorite thing at any Disney park. Grew up watching it sitting on the street curb wrapped up in their jackets and blankets when they were little and would go to Disneyland Paris in the summer while visiting their grandparents on their mother's side. Unfortunately the dazzling show was being retired for the new and less impressive "Electrical Sky Parade" that was powered by soulless drones. And we thought we had missed the closing act night because it wasn't listed on the app anymore but one of the cast members had told Wednesday, Enid, and I yesterday that tonight was it's last showing while we were grabbing our morning coffee and chai.

We knew what we had to do. Damn near killed us pulling it off.

But it was worth it to see the chaos twins lit up the way they were when Alice's massive mushroom float came cruising along with the snail and ladybug zipping along next to her. And it was as the illuminated clock tower appeared around the gentle bend in the road with its bell chiming that a good half dozen cast members and one of the chefs appeared with the large chocolate ganache cake I had ordered for them appeared. Decked out with firework designs and sparklers with a Pete's Dragon candle for each of them to blow out, they sang Happy Birthday to the twins who'd effectively been stunned speechless--Julissa filming the whole thing as she sang along while her kids tried not to cry. - @anotherbluesunday
