That is true, Arsene is a man of irony. So much so that even he sometimes forgets who exactly he is under all the disguises and shifting personas.

Also a human Arsène would have a mustache and twirl it in the exact same way Joker twirls his hair.

He might have done that in the books, though iirc in the first few he didn't have a mustache. I believe he once mentioned he didn't like having facial hair? But I only read the first few short stories, and it's been a while.

It looks like he’s tipping his hat to Joker to me. Probably not what’s actually happening and it’s my brain tricking my eyes into seeing it. Probably not but it feels right ,doesn’t it? It certainly goes well with his gentlemanly persona and what he’s saying both in words and tone.

Arsene's not actually touching his hat. It's Raoul that does that.

I like to think Arsene does occasionally do a mock version of tipping his hat since it's apparently part of his actual head as a persona.

You know, as much as I think the game has a much better awakening scene for Joker, I think the anime has the better awakening for Yusuke because he draws the mask markings on his face.

Adam and Takuto just sorta fused together after fighting the Phantom Thieves. With it being Adam’s idea.

Is that what happened? I thought Adam just kind of formed around him and use Maruki as like a battery.

I’ll have to rewatch the video but I want to say I heard Joker’s and Arsène’s voices at the same time with that line. Joker is just that offended by those other thieves and so proud of his gang even his persona has to say it with him.

This might be bias because I like the idea of them speaking together than it just being 100% Arsène speaking. Though it being Arsène is still amazing and satisfying.

That is true, it's them both speaking. Joker and Arsene are prepared to give a downbeat. And then they do! With everyone's help!

So it's more likely Arsene got to choose the wording and they both said it because who doesn't love snazzy comebacks said in legion?

Adam Kadmon Takuto’s ultimate persona. Royal doesn’t have an anime.

It was something Lupin himself would have said.

I remember Adam was his persona, but I don't remember Adam talking for him. Just the implication that Adam/Azathoth was influencing his decision to kind of control the world after everybody's favorite golden cup got shot through the skull.

Unless you mean to say that was Adam actually control Maruki the whole time? In which case Adam has a weird sense of morals, wanting to control the world, but also wanting to therapy all the Phantom Thieves. Like, the way I remember Adam talking in that one cutscene where he hands in his dissertation was far darker than Maruki himself talking. Adam sounded far less well-intentioned.

Also, you think Arsene was like "LET ME SAY IT" and Joker just went "Go for it, Lupin"?

Oh yeah that line is so Arsène/Lupin it hurts. Though it felt to me like it was both Joker and Arsène at the same time kinda like a healthier version of what Takuto and Adam did in Royal. You could say he was self possessed.(Kinda how I view the other story persona but with being possessed by himself and the original bearer of the persona.)

It was very Arsene. "Allow me to show you how you pale in comparison to us as thieves!" That's Arsene, the best thief, saying they suck. I personally like to think Joker and Arsene were in full agreement on them being awful, and Joker let the big red bird say what he wanted. Kind of like a, "You can say it cooler than me", except it's a part of himself.

And I'll admit, I played Royal once, and it's been like 7 years since. I also never watched the anime for Royal (i assume it has one), I rarely watched the anime for normal P5. So I wouldn't know what Adam line we're talking about.
