lived in calypso since he was eight

loves artist things and stars and the beach

Isa was born in Los Angeles, California and he lived out there with his parents and had a pretty good life. On his fifth birthday, he begged his parents to take him to the beach and they kept warning him the weather was not ideal, but they couldn't say no to those big brown puppy dog eyes. 

The trip went well until the ride home, Isa was asleep in the backseat when his parents were hit by some heavy fog. A car coming the opposite way hit them head on and when the boy awoke he was an orphan. 

Not being able to contact any family for the boy, Isa was placed in foster care. He had good foster parents and bad. He was eight when his aunt, who at the time was traveling out of the country, finally came back to the states. She took guardianship of him and Isa thought everything was going to be okay.

He barely knew he had an aunt, his parents moved away from their families and didn’t really keep in contact plus his aunt was always traveling. He thought of her as a hero for getting him out of foster care, but soon he would realize she was a villain. 

His aunt took him to his grandmothers home in Calypso. She then fired all the help that was there to take care of his sickly grandma and made Isa pick up the slack. The aunt would constantly blame Isa for his parents' death and punish him in unusual ways. After a year, she took off again leaving Isa and his grandma to look after each other. 

The boy got by fending for himself and his grandmother. He preferred it this way than being back in foster care or his aunt being home. He was a bit socially awkward, not really knowing how to be a child after having to grow up so fast. 

In his teenage years, Isa began to dabble in drug a bit and fell into a bad crowd, though no matter what he still made sure his grandmother was taken care of.

 He dropped out of school in his senior year and began to get odd jobs to make ends meet. Isa realized he had a passion for art and would tag up the streets of Calyspo. He was discovered by a tattoo artist who took him under their wing. 

Isa began to sober up and started an apprenticeship. He has now made his name known in the tattoo industry and has had opportunities to move away, but his grandmother keeps him here in calypso. Isa has a very big heart and tries to be there for people, some that he barely knows, but when it comes to himself and his needs he puts them aside. he his very self-conscious and insecure but hides it with humor.
