1. not everyone who enjoys cottage core & cabin core are wlw! i’m mlm & trans the idea makes me very dysphoric. this is why i’ve created my own space for people like /me/ a safe place for mlm & nblm. i’m not asking to change the stereotype i’ve just created my own place.

i am a gay transgender man and i made a tiktok calling out a creator for making a homophobic tiktok that said "me when literally anyone says they have a boyfriend" which had an audio behind it basically chastising the viewer. here is the video:

i have been mocked for my appearance, been told that i as a transgender man am "not affected by misogyny", i am somehow "invading black women's spaces" because i spoke about homophobia (???), i am trying to be in the oppression olympics, that i am supposedly "talking over women on a women's issue" (as if trans men aren't fucking oppressed by cishet men), that i'm "victimizing myself", that trans men "police everything", that it's "not that serious", and so much fucking more.

here is a link to the tiktok itself if you have the mental capacity to go through the comments. i made two followup videos (all three are captioned, one of the video's captions are in the comments) and you can just marvel at all the hate and disgusting comments im getting for having the fucking nerve to be a gay transgender man who isn't silent about the oppression i face.

People know that the motivation behind there being a specific mlm/nblm flag isn't just so we can have our own flag, right? It's also because the rainbow flag is for the whole community, and we want it to be clear that it isn't just representative of (cis binary) gay men?

The literal original creator, Gilbert Baker, has it on his website that the "rainbow Flag [is] for the LGBTQ Community." It makes complete and total sense to make a seperate mlm/nblm flag. Even though a lot of his inspiration for making the flag came from being gay, it still is meant for the whole community.

Please stop suggesting we just use the rainbow one - even if you're mlm/nblm. Being mlm/nblm doesn't make you right.
