Imma write some shit about how I think angels grow up (I have no clue if anyone else has written about this before, I’m just winging it):

(Spoilers Ahead! but that’s pretty obvious)

So, I constantly think about how Asmodeus talked about how he had his first “Asmo Night” at apparently just seven days old. And, y’know. That’s not something you can really do when you’re a regular, normal, incapable of throwing parties, baby.

And I was immediately like “Aww, so they were never little babies like I thought 😢”, and then my thought process stopped there. I just assumed that they were created as full grown adults, like how Satan came into the world. But then I realized that, since Luke exists, angels are probably just created as kids, and then mature over time. And then I immediately got giddy thinking about the brothers as inexperienced, curious, and mischievous little angel kids.

But first, I’m going to, incredibly roughly, explain how I think angel society(?) works.

Creation:

I don’t know how to explain this elegantly, but I just imagine that angels just pop out of a bright light once in a while. Because that’s funny to me.

Like—

And then, yippee! New angel!

I also imagine that it’s a somewhat rare occurrence, because idk. I doesn’t seem like there are many younger angels around, as they’re pretty much never referenced to. And just by the way the brothers kinda gawked at Luke when they first met him, I guess I kinda interpreted it as them genuinely intrigued by seeing an angel kid.

Yeah, that’s my scuffed logic.

Family:

After creation, I’d say that they’re raised somewhat communally, as angels refer to each other as brothers and sisters.

But then I also imagine that the newly created angel is given a guardian who’ll look after them, like how Simeon is literally Luke’s guardian and caretaker.

Side note- This is why I like to imagine the brothers as kids; imagining their family slowly growing bigger as more newly created angels get added to the bunch. I especially enjoy thinking about Lucifer having to deal with being the assigned guardian of a mischievous little Mammon, and losing his mind trying to not only deal with this little shit, but also learning how to properly care for him.

Life; Simple Beginnings:

Normal day to day life of a little curious angel seems pretty fun to me, honestly. Taking it back to what started this, thinking about how Asmo decided to do something fun and create Asmo Night after being alive for a week is really cute, and just plain wholesome to me. Like, this is where most of my little ideas come from. I’m just sitting here thinking about Mammon and Levi being partners in crime when they were young, and Asmo being the precious little guy who gets everything he wants. And omg could you imagine the absolute hype that there definitely was when both Beel and Belphie were made at the same time. They must have been living phenomenons, Bro, I’m floored. I’m getting silly over here, don’t stop me.

Life2; Complicated Adulthood:

I’m sure we’re all familiar with this. At least, you should be if you’re reading this in the first place. Life isn’t as simple as when you were first created, and now you’ve got to deal with fighting a war against your father. Just regular occurrence of angle adulthood, am I right😔 But I’m not here to divulge about that, so I guess this is the end of my post.

I’ve never done anything like this before, but it was fun, and I hope you enjoyed my ramblings🕊️

And I’d also like to add that I’m not at all caught up with Obey Me! base game (I’m stuck on lesson 46 lmao), so if there’s lore that I’m not aware of, sorry :(
