Hello! My name is Annie, I am a masters student, currently doing research for my thesis that is about Formula One. This is a survey aiming to parse a variety of opinions to gain an understanding of Formula 1 fans’ experiences of the sport and surrounding politics.
If you would be willing to spend some of your time filling it in I would be extremely grateful!
If you have friends, family or acquaintances that are also interested in Formula One please do not hesitate to share this with them! The more responses I get the more interesting this will be!!
had a dream that max verstappen killed the princess of monaco. now I don’t believe dreams mean anything but if she goes missing or something. i know who my suspect is
The Russell crash was obviously terrifying for him, especially being sideways/upside down in the middle of the track.
But just for clarification, calling a red flag or a VSC in that situation would have had the same result in terms of driver speed (however in a red flag, they would have counted back the results)
As it was the last lap, the VSC would have the same result as a red flag, especially as the intent was to slow down all the cars going through.
Stroll was the only car near him, and it was lucky that there was a big enough gap between the two, and the VSC was called before Stroll made it past (there was also a delay between the actual call and the graphic)
No but I feel so emotional for Carlos. He lost his seat despite his consistent delivery. He's shown his skill and talent only to get dismissed and for people to shit on him just cause he refuses to be a doormat. He is the only non-Red Bull driver to win in over a whole season. His seat situation is still unknown for next season. And no matter how much people want to pretend he isn't talented, he really fucking is.
