Here you will find a slowly growing list of fanfiction recs of Charles/Erik from X-Men. Most of them will probably be of the XMFC variety but there may be others. Please check out the taglist before asking for help finding fic. You are welcome to submit fics that you enjoy, but please follow the submission guidelines.You will be seeing a lot of Fanart as I gather fic to post
If you'd like to skip the fanart just go through the Cherik tag for fics only.

hmm i can’t get out of my head the idea of erik being all dramatic and ohhh please pay attention to me charles i miss you so much, so he stops by westchester in the most inconvenient of times. maybe even after a mission that went wrong?
“charles, you know i can stitch myself up on the road. i have to go soon”
“yes, i know. would you please keep still for a second? i’m almost done”
“ … all right” but he’s internally screaming at the gentle contact of charles’ hands

Another to the theme of the previous Cherik I drew.
Imagine Charles’ hitched breaths, groaning sobs; “Please not again” keeping the other ear pressed to Erik’s neck. Hank rushes in once they’ve returned and offers the syringe only to have to take it back when Charles’ trembling hand cant even hope to line it up to a vein.
All the while Erik looks on, devastated both by the fact that Charles wilfully gives up his powers but also at how his powers have turned on him. He may not like it but he’s coming to understand it and that coil of guilt tightens in his belly, because if Charles had greater support - would it have come to this?
Perhaps even a hint of jealousy at the gratitude pouring off Charles in Hanks direction. Charles won’t even meet Erik’s eyes after, falls on his side on the sofa and drifts into a restless sleep.
