the year is 1999. lux lewis has been dead for nearly six months now, but her presence is felt radiating through the strange town of cherry, california more and more every single day. her friends are being blackmailed by a psycho with more crushes than they can keep track of... girls are dropping dead all around them, and their beloved hometown is convinced that they have everything to do with it... that is, when the citizens aren’t pretending that nothing is wrong, and using every excuse to throw yet another all-too-extravagant street fair.
worst of all? none of them are even allowed on the boardwalk anymore after being framed for basically trying to blow up the place. between phantoms haunting the old movie theater, and evil college deans - secret societies, and murder mysteries - CHERRYUSA has it all... the question is, will our beloved cast of characters make it through the madness, and figure out who killed lux lewis? will the candy girl kill them all? and how are they managing to make it to classes between all of the chaos?

THE ACTIVIST ─
hunger strikes. protests. performance art. you've done it all, and you'll stop at nothing to introduce some kind of culture to the town of cherry. you can most often be found sketching out a new piece in your notebook, or planning the next protest with your mom. maybe you're even cementing together a new sculpture in your driveway - a statement on the disappointment of human-kind. it doesn't matter the medium; it doesn't matter how weird the idea. you're the embodiment of everything avant garde, and you're proud of it. you talk a big game out of getting out of cherry one day, but part of you is worried beyond belief that you'd flounder and die out there in the real world... so when graduation came and went, you were perfectly content to stay in cherry and attend c.c.u. nothing feels better than being the best in your town anyway, right? right?
