There was a swirl of blue vapor and Chess the man stood before her. "I'm not going anywhere," he kissed her. "Not for a long time. Even if it means my death." He held her. "I won't give in like this nor take the easy road out! They can't harm me I haven't broken their rules," He looked at her. "I love you."

Chess appeared, "Mrrrow?" He hopped up and nuzzled her sensing her sadness. He looked her over and purred. 'You are lovely Taryn, I only wish it was for our wedding." He laid down and exposed his belly for rubbings. 'No matter hat happens you will always be my Taryn.'

Taryn looked at herself in the mirror that stood before her, Nora had just finished fitting her dress and now she stood there she bit her lip taking in a shakey breath before she stepped down from the stool she had been on and sat on the bed putting her face in her hands  "I can’t do this…" she muttered to herself to have to deal with John for the rest of her life? the thought was horrifying in itself the reality was worse. "Chess," she called hoping he would hear her, she needed to see him she just needed him

Chess smiled at her, "We will be by your side in all of this you won't be alone." He nodded. "We won't let you be alone."

"Exactly and we will help in any way we can."

"No matter what dear Alice just be as mad as a Hatter and you will win." Hatter grinned.

"We know you are still very young, believe us if we could choose we wouldn't force it upon you. That isn't to say we don't believe in you.  Chess smiled. "Now you have your Mother to guide you."

Iris hesitated but she took the blade her hands shaking a bit once she held it and looked it over “THank you” she said to them with a weak smile

Alice noticed and could see how the idea of all of this was overwhelming she simply put a hand on Iris’s shoulder and smiled a bit at her trying to reassure her

Chess pulled out the sword from his pocket of stuff, It was there he kept his Tea cup, his book normally, and a few other things. He had gotten the pocket enchanted. "Iris," He held the blade out to her. "Someday this Blade will be your weapon I am only presenting it to you for you to have for safe keeping. It is good to get to know the vorpal blade the more often you hold it the bigger the bond." He held it out to her. "As you are the Champion picked by the Oraculum to defeat the Jabberwocky on the second coming of the Frabjous day, I and my Brother present it to you." He knelt along with Emmet Terrant smiled at Iris.

"Go on dear Iris take the blade," Terrant said. "No one is saying you must use it now. And you can only use it in a fight against the Jabberwocky."

Iris quirked a brow curiously at them something was up, Melly was being particularly grumpy with her and not to mention everyone was here, those were not usually good signs on her count  "Alright." she said a bit nervously

"What no hug for Kitty?" He called after them. The Twins turned and hugged him then hugged Emmet. "Kitty! Woggy!" They giggled then ran off. When they entered Terrant's cabin Terrant was busy searching through a box. Chess cleared his throat. "Terrant?"

"Fine. but lets find Terrant first," it was no secret that Melly didn’t trust them, one was a cat and she had at one point stolen the other ones eye! it didn’t take a genius to figure it out. Melly turned to her human form just to be safe before starting for the stairs almost running into the twins 

"Rat!" "I’m not a rat i’m a mouse" Melly said to them sighing and picking them up before bringing them back on deck and letting them run off again

Emmet nodded. "Aye and it is a very important gift at that."
