Do you agree that some people say the amount of lgbtq characters in tsc series is unrealistic? Like, it's more than normal

No.

Those people are either stupid or homophobic or both.

I saw this discussion happening especially during the last hours saying that it’s weird that there are too many queer people and that’s not “realistic” or statistically correct.

I find it extremely interesting that the people who made these comments were very quiet when TID was released.

The infernal devices had zero queer shadowhunters. Out of the 10 main characters none of them were lgbtq+.

Shouldn’t that be weird too?

Why didn’t anyone say “oh there are too many straight characters and no queer shadowhunters - that’s not realistic!!”

Apparently “statistical accuracy” is only relevant when there is an overwhelming amount of queerness in a story.

People should really stop using these miserable excuses to hide their own discomfort.

Hey Lovelies!😩 so this is a piece I’ve been working on for a while, it’s Ty, specifically around the time Livvy was murdered. I think sometimes I overlook how much pain Ty was going through emotionally because I was so focused on the necromancy plot. But do you guys remember how he looked like ill and sleep deprived throughout that book? And how he would chew his lips till he bled and gnawed on his skin in his sleep? It’s so freaking sad. Anyways that was my inspiration for this drawing🤠 it’s borderline terrifying because his bloodshot eyes and under eye bags but like oh well. Grievance isn’t cute.
