young artist posting your work online, heed my warning. im holding your face so gently in my hands, you have to stop caring about numbers right now and start caring about making the weirdest and most self-indulgent art you possibly can

So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????
I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.
Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?

i know we don’t have as much notes as we used to have before but the few tags where people take their time to write something nice or funny in their tags is worth 3k notes where no one says a thing

Join the Discord server and ask your fellow creators questions
And then, if you have any questions not answered by those methods above, please email us at
[email protected], or DM us on Twitter (@SQSupernova)

Sign-ups this year are open from April 15th - May 6th for all roles! Beta, cheerleader, and pinch-hitter sign-ups will stay open all challenge, but assignments go out at the beginning, so you’re more likely to get matched with a creator to help if you sign up early!

CLICK HERE to sign up as an Artist or Author!
CLICK HERE to sign up as a Beta, Cheerleader, or Pinch-Hitter!
