"I won't divorce damian"

That line was all it took for Talia to attack her. Ra's surprising christel, defended christel. From their previous conversation.

Talia didn't want Christel as a wife for damian ever but Ra's was okay with that. She was the daughter of hades afterall. It was good connections.

That's why Talia sent flatline, someone she wanted as a daughter-in-law for damian. But in a turn of events. Flatline fell in love with both damian and Christel both loving her back and forming a poly and the rest was history.

Christel could easily take down Talia, but She knew Talia had an advantage. A ghost artifact that was dimming christel's powers. The only defense she had was now Ra's. It was a 2v1 but Ra's won't kill his daughter. He was busy trying to reason with her.

Christel coughed as she realized that Talia in their duel slashed her with the artifact, making her weak.

Christel stumbled back feverishly. Ra's in actual anger yelled out Talia's name before dragging her away. Christel gasped for air. Realizing she was now alone. Suffocating to death.

Such a poor way to die, alone. With no one by her side.

Not her husband, not her kids, not her parents, not her brother or.. Or the Grelitia's. As if someone heard her inner dialogue. A hand reached out to her grabbing her and taking her away from the league's base.

Christel could hear someone cursing, everything was too blurry but she knew that voice it was Damian's. He was here. She could hear another voice yelling back. It was certainly Talia. Christel slowly turned to catch a glance of the person who was carrying her out. It was Harold.

Then finally her vision went black.

Days before the family dinner...

Christel sighed as she glanced at the letter Talia had sent her. It basically was telling her to leave Damian and the kids to flatline. Something about her living an immortal life and not being the adequate daughter-in-law nowadays.

"I will be honest... I came into this relationship only for you" Flatline confessed to Damian, thinking christel couldn't hear them "But I have grown to love her too.."

Christel shook her head. Nope nope

Flatline might have started as only loving Damian and entering the poly relationship but in the end, she loved both of them.

Flatline loved her and Damian was still in love with her right?

Christel growled as she side eyed siren who manifested besides her physically. "What do you want?"

"Don't you think that you are blocking the two from each other?" Siren asked and christel frowned more. Siren continued "flatline always had eyes on him and Damian is falling out of love" Siren chuckled. "So? What else is there left? flatline's love that will also fade away?"

"Shut up" Christel hissed. Siren laughed so hard christel almost thought she had actual lungs. "My kids. My kids are there. I can't.. I can't walk away from them... I can't" Divorce or break up

"Don't act like you haven't failed at being a parent. For the last couple of days. Flatline and Damian are the ideal parents.." Siren said as she glared at christel. Christel was silent. "You are blocking the kids from an actual good loving family"

Closing Talia's letter, she made her decision.

Siren smiled as if she won. Maybe she did.

"So about what mother was saying..." Damian started but was quickly cut off by christel "No let's not start this conversation"

"Baby we should have this conversation" Flatline said joining the conversation.

"No absolutely not" Christel denied. Trying to leave the room only to be stopped by Damian grabbing her arm and pulling her closer to him.

"What happened?" Damian was pleading while flatline stared concerned.

"She doesn't spend time with us Or the kids anymore...but you help" Christel frowned as she heard that. She had come home early today and right now was embarrassingly ears dropping on her two lovers conversation. She mentally lectured herself for not spending time with them or taking care of the kids besides them.

"Careful there, you almost sound like you are falling out of love" Flatline joked with a nervous chuckle. The thought made christel's drop and

"Perhaps I am" Damian answered. And break. It made christel's heart drop and break.

"You don't mean that..." Flatline said now fully serious "You love both me and her and I love both of you.. And she loves us back" She lectured Damian.

".... She feels distant" The man stated, staring away from flatline.

"I know... But she has her reasons..." Flatline sighed "Hey! No more sad thoughts! Come on" She tried to cheer him up.

"...You love her?" Damian asked uncertainty. Christel took a deep breath... Was he trying to say 'you still love her?'

Flatline stayed silent before she said "I am not the girl for marriage or forever, even with my power of controlling the dead... But I feel like I can love her eternity" Her words almost made christel sob.

"Her eternity is different than ours. We will die together but she will continue to live.." Damian explained with a dark tone.

"Don't remind me" Flatline said with a sad one. "Please.. Don't remind me that"

"I think we should take a break, me towards you two" Christel suddenly said.

Damian blinked, a little pale "... What?"

"Baby why?" Flatline asked, tear droplets forming in her eyes.

Christel took a sharp breath "please... I need some distance"

Christel turned around, the A-trio had already left with their uncles a min ago. Christel left the room too. Looking utterly defeated.

Christel stayed silent as she summoned a ghost maid to clean up the ruined table.

"I would like everyone to settle down-" Christel's statement was cut off by Persephone. "Marbleosa, that is not a way to speak to your mother"

Christel closed her eyes as Mary yelled "I AM NOT YOUR DAUGHTER!", Persephone frowned as they started to argue.

Among the commotion, some individuals left. Hades placed his hand on christel's shoulders. "Would you like me to perhaps assist the situation?"

Damian was now talking or for a better words yelling at Talia while flatline stood besides him staring at christel. The three could feel the tension between each other with the revelation about Talia's plans.

Dick, Tim and Duke where trying to get the kids away from the Commotion. Making sure they don't hear the arguments going on.

Bruce seemed to be in a heated conversation with Ra's himself with hera besides him on standby.

"Help Dick, with Aris, Anas, Alek and the other kids.." Christel asked her father. Hades slowly nodded. Christel was for first time in her life, grateful to Hades... Perhaps they had changed.

Talia frowned, about to leap forward to attack when suddenly the table caught on fire. Christel immediately expelled water on the table and then stared at Mary the one who set the table on fire.

"I have had enough" Mary exclaimed, glaring at everyone. "Talia Al gul. Your family doesn't deserve christel." Christel immediately said "Mary stand down immediately"

"I agree with marbleosa's statement" Persephone joined the conversation, Mary immediately glared at Persephone.
