~ no grand explanation as to why the rabbit is not wearing the black mage robes, I just like drawing it this way.

~ if you've seen my other works you might have noticed that I treat Setzer's Slot as a real magical ability. Literally everything he does with it is summoning, except for calling the airship in (it is technically summoning but not a magical one). So I hc Setzer as a classic final fantasy summoner, there just wasn't a soul around who could teach him, and that's why it barely works and is always random. Interesting questions here are when did it start, how did it go, and whether there were any accidents and/or consequences.
