'kay, i'm just going to say it. any use of "the blond" or "the brunette" or "the younger man"...i.e. epithets. i can forgive these, and let them slide...for the most part, but i confess, i do cringe a bit when i read it. it's not enough that i'll nope out of a fic...that's usually for Big Ticket Things (squicks, if you will)...but yeah. this and also "Dray" as a nickname for Draco. again, not enough to nope out ever, and NO JUDGEMENT, YOU DO YOU, but me personally, i 'cringe' and move on.

Draco turns and says over his shoulder, “I accept your apology!”

Kinda want to read a post war fic where someone placed Draco’s most valued thing under a curse (like an illness or something) and Draco scrambles to save his life only to realize later that the curse has gone after Harry

Had a small (in length and literally) drarry dream last night. It was in their second year, somehow Draco was being punished for something so he had to follow Harry around for some reason (I have no explanation for this and my subconscious obviously didn’t bother with one). They run into some trouble as it was usual with Harry. At this point Harry and Draco was with a bunch of Gryffindors, everyone was brainstorming ideas.

Out of nowhere Harry came up with a plan, and he started the plan with calling Dobby with what seems like a non sequitur request. Everyone was very confused, but Draco immediately knew what Harry was planning.

Draco tries to hide because he KNEW he was about to be drag into Gryffindor bullshit, but Harry found him right away and just looked at him with a look that says silently I know you know what I want to do and you are needed for what I want to do so. let’s go, Harry said out loud to Draco.

And that was the end of the dream because the construction upstairs woke me up.

I guess this stuck with me because I love the idea that before they were friends they were already perfect partners in crime. The dynamic is very fun to me.
