I thought this spread looked cute :) I'm doing better with my practicing but I'm definitely ready to go back to school. I've learned basically a whole semester's worth of techniques and rep! it is time haha

pure joy when hanging out with @dreamofghosts and @bulletnotestudies in book stores and botanical gardens! so much laughter and lovely conversations, books (some signed copies!) and delicious food and overall nothing but happiness

Been studying non-stop and attending classes the whole day. I’m so sleepy. Will finish pharma, sleep, and just wake up at 4/5am.

updated my reading journal and created a new spread for next month

practiced Irish on duolingo

organized my thesis notes and to do lists

i haven’t been doing anything studyblr-related lately, just reading a lot. it’s hard to combat the feeling of not being productive enough. i’m looking forward to next semester to have a sense of purpose again lol

The process of annotating Pride and Prejudice made me realise Darcy only smiles when talking to Elizabeth. That’s why she easily recognised his smile in his Pemberly portrait. 🥺💕 Now I’m super motivated to read the rest of Austen’s novels, I’m torn between starting Emma or S&S next!📚

thinking about “you haven’t met all the people who will love you” and like!!! you also haven’t found all the things that will make you happy!!!! there will always be new authors and musicians and artists whose work you will one day discover and love!!!! there will always be new hobbies and skills for you to learn and feel fulfilled by!!! there will always be new things around the corner that will bring sudden and unexpected happiness!!!!!!!!!!!

ignoring the shit cropping that google docs did to me (i refuse to download tumblr on my phone (not really, i've just never gotten around to it) i began annotating pride and prejudice!! it's the first time i've tried annotating a book, so i'm figuring it out as i go, but i'm honestly just trying to have fun with it :)

here’s my take on #artofannotating 🤍 if you ever have any questions on my annotations, feel free to have a read! :) . do you write directly on the page? - absolutely! the larger the margins (and space) the better 🥰

do you annotate all your books? - i try to, but it depends! if i don’t feel like making any comments (for whatever reason — it could be because i don’t find the need to interact with the story), then i won’t annotate it

why do you annotate? - because it makes me connect with the story and characters better ☺️ it also allows me to underline phrases that i can go back to in the future. plus i feel more in touch with the author and what they’re trying to write about as well!

what tabs do you use? - studymate tabs! they’re only available in australia sadly :(

i haven’t had too much time to decorate my planner recently, but i had an idea for a tulip theme so i had to give it a go for june! i really like the end product, it’s bright and definitely gets me excited for summer.
