This is the part.

The part that comes, when I come to the line. The crossroads of decision. Where faking, and pretending, must end. The weight of performance begins to crush my neck. My toes teeter over the edge of decision. Peering over I see only darkness. Warnings and voices swirl above my head like a cotton candy bundle made of lead. If I stand here long enough, the sheer weight of it will finish the job. Take the choice from me, altogether. I back up, shakily. "What if I fall?" A voice calls out, from somewhere, "That's the point." Still, another, "You will die.".

So here I stand. Here I have stood. Hundreds of days. Teetering, Wobbling, Teetering, wobbling, teetering.
