Imagine just cooking or cleaning or something and having music playing in the background and kinda half singing along

Your F/O walks in, they lean against the doorway and just watch you kinda bob along to the music. You're so focused on what you're doing you haven't really noticed them yet.

A softer song comes on (something about love that reminds you of your F/O maybe?), And suddenly you feel your hand be tugged and your spun around to face your F/O. Youre obviously flustered and sputter out how you didn't see them there, but they just kinda chuckle and lean their forehead against yours

They gently sway back and forth with you, making soft jokes or maybe even singing along with you. They keep you close to them, telling you how much they love you and they can't believe how everyday they somehow manage to fall in love with you even more.

Having Jasper as an f/o means having a dream where youre running from people trying to hunt you down, you come to a busy square and somehow pick him out of the crowd on the other side. He looks back at you, then looks off somewhere else, pointing with his eyes and vaguely gesturing with his head. You follow and weave your way through the edge of the crowd, looking back as he shakes his head or nods as you get closer until you find exactly the right spot and knock on just the right spot on the brick wall, and a secret passage in the floor opens up for your escape. When you look back to where Jasper was to celebrate, hes gone, and you gotta go.

Bc as great as ur f/o melting into ur arms and proclaiming their love is, it's not applicable to some of the emotionally constipated bastards we love.

They have trouble expressing their emotions through words, so they do things for you that they know you appreciate

There's never big, dopey grins, but small hidden smiles. Ones that you wouldn't recognize if you didn't know what to look for.

Your own small gifts of flowers or drawings are met with little response but they press your flowers into books and keep your drawings close

"You're cute" is met with evading eyes and clenched jaw bc they don't know how to process a compliment

When they do say things to you, they're blunt. No beating around the Bushes. No "how you feeling" or "did I do something" just "are you okay" and "are you angry with me"

They only give you gifts with notes. Usually laid in front of your door.

They don't know how to be taken care of, and struggle with recovering from injuries. They get told to stay in bed for a week and you're trying to help? They get up to do things constantly and you have to force them back to bed

Boundries are important to them. One day, you tease them a bit and they're fine, but the next day they're not as okay with the teasing. You've learned the difference.

Whether it's true or not is debatable but you look into their eyes sometimes while they're looking at you and you feel like you can hear internal screaming, but like, in a good, I Love This Person Too Much way.
