hi friends :] this is a little booklet i made for my spanish ii class called the giant anteater, the sloth, & the hungry jaguar. spanish isn't my first language so huge apologies if there are any grammar errors!! here's the story (roughly) in english:
deep in the amazon rainforest of venezuela, there lived a sloth, a giant anteater, and a jaguar. the anteater and the sloth were very kind to the jaguar, but he was very hungry. he wanted something to eat, and berries did not satisfy him like they did his friends. the sloth and the anteater tried to bring the jaguar any dead creatures they could find, but it was not enough for the greedy jaguar. his friends made him promise not to eat them, but oh, the jaguar was so hungry! He made the sloth and the jaguar his dinner, gobbling them up. he was finally full, but the jaguar became very lonely. his dear friends were all gone, and he would be hungry soon again. you must keep the promises you say you will keep and value your friends, because they love you very much.
sorry for the long post! hope u all enjoy >:)

this fishy work is titled “poisson d’avril”! the assignment was to create a piece utilizing one of the 23 synectic trigger mechanisms. i chose empathize, so i tried to put myself into this funky little guy’s shoes by making him feel really out of place in his environment!
