Giveaway: We’re giving away twenty-one (hello, 2021!) miniature-sized, vintage classics by Charles Dickens, Pearl S. Buck, Thomas Hardy, Mark Twain, Anne Frank, and others. These books are smaller (4.25″ x 6.5″) than your mass market paperbacks, and it took me three years to assemble these! Won’t they look lovely on your shelf? =) Enter to win these classics by: 1) following macrolit on Tumblr (yes, we will check. :P), and 2) reblogging this post. We will choose a random winner on 28 February, at which time we’ll start a new giveaway. Good luck!  Follow our IG account to be eligible for our IG giveaway. For full rules to all of our giveaways, click here.

in which i recommend books like the netflix algorithm
you wanted it, you got it, babes! caveat: this list is long (seriously, sorry about the length) and i can’t write blurbs for everything, but i highly recommend going and looking at anything that sounds interesting. some books will fall under multiple headings, so i’m listing them twice. i am linking to their purchase pages on bookshop.org, because amazon sucks and bookshop helps support indie booksellers, but if your local indie bookstore offers delivery or curbside pickup, buy it there. and i’m trying to keep this list confined to pretty recent titles, so even though a few older ones might slip in there, it’s definitely centered on releases from the past few years. okay let’s do this.

Hey, anon. I’m sorry that that’s been the case for you. I can relate with english b/c that’s, like, my WORST subject but, I made up for my difficulty picking up the subject matter by first talking with my teacher and working on my assignments with her outside class as well as attending tutoring.
But math is pretty different from english, and you’re self-studying, so here are some websites/books for studying math!
SchoolYourself (completely free and ranges from pre-algebra to calculus, even statistics!)
MIT Open Courseware (for higher division math, gives problem sets used in MIT classes!!)
The Math Page (excuse the graphic design – this has more basic math courses for self-learning)
Khan Academy (the Holy Grail, example problems and videos ranging from early math to differential equations!!!)
Also, if you find yourself struggling:
how to do math if you’re struggling by @studycoffee-drinkstudies
how to take notes for math by @studyessie
math study & exam tips by @studymelody
Remember that I’d also be happy to help you more if you want. Feel free to PM me, and I’ll tell you my discord handle. My inbox is always open, love, and good luck!

Also, some of you don’t actually know what enemies to lovers is huh… Where is the clashing of principles? The righteous fury? The gut wrenching guilt of having unwanted affection for someone who is actively trying to destroy everything you’ve worked your entire life to build? The overwhelming anger thrown at the object of your affection to mask your anger for yourself? The reluctant truce brought about by extenuating circumstances? The begruding birth of respect? The creeping realization that you are on the wrong side? The long agonizing journey to redemption? The slow quiet blossoming of a friendship? The underlying current of a desire that has always been there but you have never been in a position to act on before? The fear that your antagonistic history carries too much baggage? The resigned acceptance that a friendship is more than you are even worthy for? A heroic display that solidifies your position as one of the good guys? The epiphany of love and a hint that it might not be so unrequited? The inevitable conclusion??
Honestly, you guys see two people on opposite sides and just skip to the lovers part….
