My roommate and I are going through all the doctor who episodes together (for me rewatching. It’s his first time watching it). We started with 11 then went back for 9 and 10.

I am so normal. I don’t think about how Amy Pond met her daughter in her first run in with the Weeping Angels and said goodbye to her again when faced with the same threat.

"I was young and sort of foolish. I'm still foolish, I'm just older," Matt Smith explained. "I thought, 'Well, would I just always be Doctor Who?' And then I realized, actually, always being Doctor Who is amazing. It's a great thing. It's still one of the great pleasures of my life. I'm so, so proud of that show."

When asked if he would consider returning to Doctor Who one last time, Matt said "Never say never. Never say never!"

Fun fact: Eleven is actually not the first Doctor I have watched. That honour belongs to Christopher Eccleston as the 9th Doctor. I remember waking up on Christmas break bored out of my mind (no internet at home at the time) and saw Doctor Who was marathoning on a channel. Heard about it and began to watch. Never stopped really. This was before Peter Capaldi was Twelve so just in the middle/end of Matt Smith’s era.

Anyways, I found out I was also autistic years later.

Mickey and Martha are cute together but I agree somewhat that it kind of came out of left field. But I guess I can see it. They are both people who loved someone neither could have. Mickey loved Rose: went to another dimension for her to realize she loved the Doctor and given the choice between the two- he would always be the back burner option.

Martha Jones loved the Doctor but he could never return her affections- because he is always running from his own feelings as well as past. He could never see Martha the way she wanted him too. He was grieving over never being able to see Rose again and given a fresh slate: still chose someone other than Martha who appeared similar to Rose.

So, the two who genuinely wanted to be loved by another person - ironically- found each other because of that one fucker who somehow always worms his way into their lives.

I hope they’re happy

I think about the Beast Below episode an ungodly amount because it just shows how kind the Doctor is. I know there are other episodes that also show this but Beast Below has my heart.

The fact that the Doctor knew exactly what was going on because a child was crying, then going through everything to see why this was happening. Then the heartbreaking discovery of the star whale. How the star whale came from the stars to help the children- because it was so old and so kind just like the doctor

I know this is like base level stuff but god- such a good episode

The Eleventh Doctor means so much to me.

He taught me to have joy in the mundane and to always live life as a kind person- but not a doormat. My rage and anger akin to his own and because of that- I have grown. But always having that childish wonder. Still making lists for santa, and just trying to find happiness in every day life.
