I went for a walk now that the snow has mostly melted and I encountered some dandelions. In late January. This should be illegal…

@lamiafaae Thank you so much for the info! I looked into it and you’re right, it’s almost definitely mealybugs. I did some poking around online and it looks like a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol is a great idea. I don’t currently have the rubbing alcohol but I’m going to try that out as soon as I can and quarantine the affected plants in the meantime so it doesn’t spread
Thank you again for your reply!

Does anyone know if this white, sort of fluffy stuff on one of my lemon trees is something I should be concerned about? Because it looks like something I should be concerned about

While I was taking pictures of my bigger succulents, I found these tiny leaves on the windowsill that had started to grow. I’m going to see if I can get them to adulthood since they seem to be pretty hardy

My proplifted succulents are leggy as all hell so eventually I’m taking the leaves off and basically starting back at square one. The only difference is that this time they’ll be in my closet with the big grow light on for most of the day. We’ll see if that helps.

For the very first time, one of my spider plants has actually successfully found soil. I’d keep it in there as a congratulations but that particular soil happens to be occupied. Better luck next time, little buddy

Shoutout to my dad for keeping our extra room toasty warm in the winter so that I can keep enjoying little sights like this even when it’s brutally cold outside 💚

The gf dug these up for me because they’re some of my favorite Outside Flowers. HOWEVER, I have NO recollection of asking her to do this for me but they’re very pretty so… I guess they live here now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Back when my bed was in the closet (Insert gay joke here), it was really easy for me to get in and see the plants, but the floor outside the closet is usually a disaster and we lost the knob for the door, so getting in has been difficult for months since we moved the bed and that’s no good for the plants OR for me and my mental health. So this is our (Hopefully temporary) solution. Door always open, blanket for blocking our eyes from the grow light. And now I can get back to planting seeds since it’ll be SO much easier to keep an eye on them. I’ll have to go through my seed drawer and see what looks like it’ll be fun…

My proplifted babies are doing well! They still look absolutely ridiculous but at least a little less ridiculous than before

My first great grandbaby!!! I thought I’d never see it happen because some of my spider plants have really gone through a lot, but here we are! 😁

These little beauties (Blanketflowers, I believe) are produced by what may be the most sickly, mildew-infested, and downright stubborn plant that I own (It looks pretty good in these pictures but part of it just lays limply in my black krim’s pot all the time). I’m not even sure that this guy is a perennial but it’s more than a year old, so at this point I’m just letting it do whatever it wants ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Omg guys. The Big Begonia made a male (Top) and female flower (Bottom) at the same time. This is significant because in my three years of growing, I’ve only seen this a few times. My closet pumpkins were especially frustrating because they’d produce male flowers, take a little break, and then make the female ones. So I rubbed my begonia’s flowers together and planted the female and I guess we’ll see what happens! 🌱😁
