Bucket list moment! ✅ Went into this half with zero expectations 🛑 only hoping to not have to limp over the finish 🏃🏽♀️ 2:10:35 💫 Watch wasn’t working so I had to focus on one mile at a time + the best I knew how☝️ but this climb to see my family at the end 📸 Thanks for the pic @em_gemmm 🥲 It’s been a very difficult, uphill battle these past few months that started with a broken toe 😡 (right in the middle of training) and complete devastation when the doc told me I won’t be able to run 😭 So this pic I am proud of as I never thought to see it! 🥹 That’s me, wearing a bib with my name on it and a medal around my neck🏅Like what?! 😱 Sure wasn’t born a runner 🥴 (still don’t know if I “luv” it to be honest 🤫) but seeing the transformation from when I began one year ago with the ✨Barrier Breakers✨ run group to this moment here, will make me cherish this day for the rest of my life 🌞 andddd the more I put one foot in front of the other… 🏃🏽♀️ the more I noticed the dark days becoming brighter, connections with nature becoming stronger 🌳 and the running community becoming more united + welcoming ❤️ “There is an uphill for every downhill and a downhill for every uphill” 🙌 Sure is! #truthbetold #life #halfmarathon #scrantonhalf #theclimb #bucketlist #srcbarrierbreakers (at Scranton Memorial Stadium) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqS7G9YLeID/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

NO MUSIC! 😳 That’s all I cared about was music! 🎶 Worked on the perfect playlist (for days) with all of my fams fave tunes and couldn’t get my watch to connect for the race so I almost dropped out! 😂 Was forced to look + listen to my surroundings and it was good 👍🏾 cuz I was able to hear the sounds of Scranton + loud cheers + amazing tunes by solo artists along the way and I got a chunky finisher medal!🏅13.1 run done ✅ What an event and congrats to all of the runners! 🏃🏽♀️ Next up for me and my @abigailguziewicz ❤️ is the Golden Gate Bridge Half Marathon! ✈️ #scrantonhalf (at Scranton Running Company) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqQparfrDqo/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
