⠀⠀⠀ "i may have lied... we can still get it later, but i was worried about you. usually you love watching volleyball, why the sudden long face?" you say as you grip his hand tighter. he sighs and looks out the window.

⠀⠀⠀ "i guess it's just upsetting knowing we won't be playing. we worked really hard all these years and i feel as though it all went to nothing," you sigh at his response. you take a moment to think before gripping his hand again.

⠀⠀⠀ "it won't be for nothing tooru. you are one of the most popular and beloved volleyball players in our division! you already have offers for colleges so you won't be stopped from playing the game you love. as long as you're willing to keep making yourself better and keeping with your passion, you'll play in legions that are even better than nationals..." you say as he looked at you and sighed. he smiled and squeezed your hand.

⠀⠀⠀ "well of course i care about your problems-- they aren't silly either... wait... what was that last part?" you say as tooru pulls you into him and quickly places a small kiss to your lips.
