Quick Announcement

So the possible barbie pink elephant in the room: 1 August came and went and there are no links to sign up. If you noticed, sweet; we noticed too! Great minds, etc. That's what this post is about.

Both head mods are Going Through Some Things. I, for example, had a tree fall on my house during a big storm. And then on my car. Which is a convertible. And over two decades old. And rare. And you know what the Adulting 101 handbook does not cover? How to get a large tree off your house and/or classic sports car.

At least you have a house and a cool car, you might say, and yes I am very fortunate for that and do not in any way want to paint myself as a martyr. But if you or any other participant came to us and said: Dear mods: a tree just fell on my [insert thing here, hopefully not a body part], we would work with you to find a new reasonable deadline.

We're asking for the same kind of flexibility from you, our dear participants and lurkers.

So! Sign-ups! Check back with us in a little less than a week. We're aiming right now to open writer, artist, and beta sign-ups on Wednesday, 9 August at midnight (00:00) UTC. For those in North, Central, or South America, that's more like the evening of Tuesday, 8 August.

Eventually pushed to take vacation by the brass and a chance check-in Cody finds himself in the last place he expected — An animal conservatory and rehabilitation system. Cody finds his time there unexpectedly healing and finds himself growing fond of the gorgeous Dr. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Director of Wildlife Rehabilitation for the JEDI Conservator Intuition. A fondness that he's sure is returned.

It all seems too good to be true, and he's right. The peace he hoped for here is rapidly turning into a mystery as endangered and threatened species begin to disappear from their supposedly safe habitats.

Beleaguered by the war, the Jedi are hard pressed, tired and nearing the limits of their stamina. Seeing their elders struggle, a familiar group of heroic initiates beseech the Force to help and are led to the oldest, darkest, dustiest depths of the Temple. There, they spring a failsafe that secrets the Jedi Order off to a long forgotten sacred place. Confused and a little hurt that the Jedi vanished without telling them, the clones are left directionless and adrift with the weight of an entire war on their shoulders. A war that abruptly comes to an end when Chancellor Palpatine declares himself Emperor. Stuck in a Sith-controlled hell, Cody, Rex, Wolffe and Bly make a run for it, vowing to find the Jedi and bring them home. The galaxy needs the Jedi. And what’s more—they need their Jedi, too.
