sometimes i just sit and think of yin yu, the god who wanted to be good if he could not be outstanding, and who thought he had traded away his chances at it altogether because of one irreversible (and likely, in retrospect, inevitable) moment of anger

ok , I just want to know why so many people say that it was Quan Yin Zhen's fault for what happened between Yin Yu and himself? Like I don’t really get how it's totally his fault. People say that it's his fault for not being able to figure out that Yin Yu was feeling sad and all that but some people just can't pick up on that unless you say it out right. 

It's just…..Yi Zhen seems like the type who would have done anything for Yin Yu, and then gets treated as if he didn’t try hard enough. Idk if it's just me but it just seems that he gets blamed for being unable to pick up social cues. I mean, Yi Zhen out right doesnt know how to interact with anyone, like no one has taught him how to act like a person.

He liked getting presents for Yin Yu because he felt like they were close that way. And the way the other students in the Sect treated him was really awful. The way that one dude, Yin Yu’s right hand man (or whatever/ can't remember his name at the moment) was just horrible. And Yi Zhen seemed to try not to get into as many fights for Yin Yu. 

Yi Zhen seems to like to fight because it seems like his way of communicating. Like thoughts cliche fights between anime characters that fight and then understand each other that way. That's how I feel he may be, in a way.

So Yin Yu being the only one in the entire Sect that treated him well, like a person and not an overpowered and ignorant monster, must have meant the world to him. So it just makes me really sad to see people blaming him for all the wrongs that happened to Yin Yu.

Yin YU having less popularity wasn’t Yi Zhens fault. The Heavenly Court in and of itself is a competitive place, so it wasn't Yi Zhens fault that Yin Yu wanted to do well. Hell it even isn’t Yi Zhens fault that he himself was doing so well. People will worship thoughts who have great power and who they see as otherworldly, so how could it have been Yi Zhens fault? 

Also yes Yin Yu was being bad mouthed by other Heavenly Officials because Yi Zhen, his junior, was doing better than him but the jealousy was just so heartbreaking to me. Yi Zhen just seemed to be trying to do whatever he could to please Yin Yu, and stay his friend. But the words of others were mentally grinding at Yin Yu and made him angry. Angry that Yi Zhen couldn't see what was happening and the fact that Yi Zhen was a very violent Official, and yet was doing so well either way. 

Just… Yi Zhen seems like the type to be unable to pick up social cues and needs to be told out right what someone is feeling and what they want for him. It doesn't seem like he’s just insensitive, it just seems like he just can't understand with just subtext. It seems like he tries his best but just can't quite figure it out all the way. And it's just not his fault.

As far as I remember, this kid literally grew up alone and fought anything and anyone he could just to get stronger. And you just have to imagine why he wanted to get stronger in the first place. Imagine this feral kid that nobody likes, then you meet this nice guy that treats you well and like family (in a way), he treats you nicely, and this may be the first person who had ever treated him nicely at all. Everyone else still treats him like shit, but at least one friend still treats him with kindness. So I just feel so sad when I imagine what it must have been like for Yi Zhen to realize that no Yin Yu wasn’t different from the rest. He was also angry and jealous at what he could do. Also thought of him as an insensitive barbarian. And most likely didn't even consider him a friend anymore with the whole thing with Yin Yu almost succeeding on making him kill himself.

Quan Yi Zhen literally has no body to talk to in the Heavenly Court. Everyone thinks he's insensitive and brodish. Nobody likes talking with him. He isn’t even included in the Tree Tumors, AND THEY'RE THE WORST OF THE WORDS AND HE STILL AINT APART OF THE GROUP BECAUSE HE CANT SOCIALIZE! He has no helpers, so that means that he lives in his palace all alone, without even being able to see his 1 friend anymore, and not being able to talk to anyone because he’s socially awkward.

I'm just really sad that Yi Zhen just can’t seem to pick up social cues, and socialize in general, but still say it's his fault for not reading between the lines and being straight forward. They wanted Yi Zhen to figure things out on his own, when it could have been much easier to just talk things out. Hell if Yin Yu told Yi Zhen to stop being a god he probably would have. 

Yi Zhen just seems so loyal, and to have him badmouthed for not being able to be a detective and find all the clues that everything is in fact not okay. If Yi Zhen really didn't care about Yin Yu then he wouldn’t have kept interacting with him when he became a famous god, but he did. He wanted to keep being by Yin Yu’s side but everything finally got to him and he snapped, then everything was a mess.

I'm not saying that it was completely Yin Yu’s fault or Yi Zhen’s fault, it was just the lack of communication. I just hate that people seem to blame all of Yin Yu’s miss fortune on Yi Zhen. This kid just tried so hard to stay friends.

I’m so sorry for this long post. I know it's annoying but it just made me sad that people keep blaming the whole thing on Quan Yi Zhen. Although this may also have something to do with the fact that I also need things spelled out for me and can't pick up social cues at times.

Idk it's just hard to try and figure out what a person is thinking at times if they don’t tell you. So it made me sad that Yi Zhen was being blamed for everything.
