I just discovered yesterday that SKZFlix was a thing and I have…. questions. Most of them can be boiled down to basically just this:

What the hell is ACTUALLY happening there. I got most of the simpler early stuff, with the love triangle and the film club sort of breaking up or whatever. But like.

Did Lee Know die???? What’s going on with the parallel worlds??? Why was Lee Know the only one that could see Felix??? What is HAPPENING. I tried to watch a theory video yesterday but my ADHD brain could not handle it. I have no idea what’s going on. The best I was able to grasp is like. Felix made a wish? And now he can travel to parallel worlds??? And maybe so can Lee Know????? I truly have zero clue what’s going on there.

So a while back, I made a kinda jokey post talking about listening to Stray Kids on repeat cuz I was super stressed during the holidays (or at least I mentioned it was a Stray Kids song in the tags).

But yeah, I’ve gotten into Stray Kids lately. I still wouldn’t say I’m a big stan, though I would call myself a Stay (I still wanna say casual Stay, even though that’s kind of starting to feel more and more like denial), mostly because they are truly the only kpop I listen to besides one or two songs here and there, mostly from either Blackpink or K/DA, or any group a friend of mine who is more into kpop than me thinks I might be into (shout-out Shard). I also have a single NCT 127 song on a couple of character playlists (it’s Cherry Bomb).

I actually first got introduced to them by said friend who is more into kpop than me because I was building a playlist specifically for a d&d character idea I have, and I was telling them about it. I was finding songs with people who have deep voices because the character has a super deep voice in my mind, so OF COURSE Shard sent me a clip of Felix in God’s Menu. I added the song to the playlist, and really it was a slow build from there because that was 3 years ago. And for a while that was the only song by them I had heard. Fast forward to mid 2022, when I started actually listening to them for real and then fell down the rabbit hole, and now I pay money for Bubble so that Bang Chan can flirt at me over the Internet.

Anyway, the point I’m actually trying to make is that, I’m into Stray Kids, and at work on my computer, I usually have my wallpaper set up to be a slideshow because I have two screens so it’s more interesting, and right now it’s a Stray Kids slideshow, and I just recently added an image of THIS iconic moment to the slideshow.

And I immediately was consumed by the need to come up with an OC that fits the vibe I get from this. And I finally did. I’m not quite ready to share details about him yet, I’m still figuring out some backstory stuff but the ACTUAL point I’m trying to say is

It was a bit of a wild experience to have spent last night/this morning beginning to form a little character arc for this character where I’m gonna probably be using Bang Chan as a FC if I ever RP with him anywhere, and then to check my phone and see actual Bang Chan blowing up Bubble. I literally said “oh no” out loud.

I’ve been rewatching A Court of Fey and Flowers, and one part of my brain when I watch things always makes variants of my main OC in different things, and I know exactly who Alex would be in ACOFAF. He’d be a cursed immortal (because he always is) who was originally from the Material Plane, was captured by the Unseelie Court and operated as Andhera’s bodyguard when they were a kid, and over the course of the Bloom in ACOFAF, they just become friends, and he also deeply dislikes Suntar.

I’m finally playing through Baldur’s Gate 3 and, it’s funny. Back when I had preordered it for PS5, when I booted it up, the first tip that popped up on the loading screen was about the Dead Three.

The only knowledge I had about anything to do with Baldur’s Gate before playing this game was a short-lived Baldur’s Gate campaign where I played a fallen aasimar death cleric who was raised in the cult of Bhaal and who was desperately looking for a way out. So when that tip was the first thing to pop up it felt VERY targeted.

I just finished Act 2 and like….. this is wild. I can’t believe the Dead Three are actually behind all of this. If I were to ever play a fully evil character in a Faerun setting, I’d probably lean towards a Bhaalspawn, so like I’m so hyped for this. Already got plans for a future evil playthrough.

I find it unfathomable and astounding that Tumblr isn't more obsessed with Sam Reich. You're telling me there exists out there a man who was born into the aristocracy of our country—with every privilege of modern society at his fingertips—who didn't complete high school (due to his mental health) and instead chose to devote his life to making strangers laugh and raising awareness on mental health. A full-bearded short king who is so committed to being the change he wants to see in the world that he decided to take the company he worked for into his own hands so that he could make sure all the people who worked under him could keep their livelihoods.

How many other CEOs are out here being as honest and transparent with their target audience/market as Sam Reich is? How many of them acknowledge when they fumble and continuously strive to be better than they were? How many of them actually seem like they respect their talent, both in the cast and crew? Sam Reich is the standard we should be holding other CEOs to.

But forget about all that (I could talk for a long time about the respect I have for Sam Reich)—ignore just how respectable he is as a businessman and a person. Ignore all the wholesome reasons for obsessing over Sam Dalton Reich.

The man is a stone-cold fox.

He's a little chaos gremlin and an absolute evil mastermind all rolled into one classy suit and well-groomed beard. Whenever Sam is on the set, you can guarantee he is going to make you crack a smile. And for someone with such natural authority, he's never afraid to be the butt of a joke and show himself being embarrassed. Go ahead, watch any clip of him trying to improvise in No Laugh Newsroom and just try to resist that blush.
