Did you know farms and slaughterhouses abuse animals? They mutilate their bodies without pain relief, cutting off their tails, beak tips, horns, etc. Most farmed animals are kept in tiny cages and crates or faciltiies with thousands of others. Pigs are imprisoned in gestation crates for weeks where they can’t even turn 90 degrees. Farmed animals experience diseases and infecfions like ovarian cancer and prolapse.

The egg and dairy industry kill unprofitable male children, suffocating or grinding chicks alive, and murdering young calves.

Free range means thousands of hens in a room with a small pothole.

And eventually every farmed animal is forced into a slaughterhouses, afraid and cut up into many pieces, many of them feeling the blade due to improper stunning.

If we would never want to experience this suffering, let’s leave cruelty off our plates, and speak up for all animals. Unlike wild predators and our ancestors, we know better, in our hearts we know what we do to farmed animals is wrong. As long as people eat them, non-human animals continue to suffer.
