The war in Sudan has reached its 10th month. The war has been met with a global indifference or there has been no desire to act from many world leaders.

8 million people have fled their homes and millions of Sudanese people have emergency food insecurity, with 5 million people on the brink of famine. even the neighbouring country Chad has had to declare a food insecurity emergency due to the mass amount of Sudanese people that have fled to Chad. (By no fault of their own of course)

Faced with a media blackout which is over a week at this point we need to continue to amplify the voices and plight of the Sudanese people.

If you do a google search for mint challah, one of the first results is a Christian's blog post about making mint & lavender challah for Easter, so the mint challah idea may already be somewhat out of containment without bad dream inspiration.

Had a vivid dream that someone messed up the (mass-produced) local challah by adding mint flavor to it and under-baking it, so now I just have a vivid dream memory of eating half-raw squidgy challah that tasted somewhere between thin mints and toothpaste. 🤦‍♀️

Hey I was out and about today and was having trouble steering, so while on the train I transferred to a seat and my husband flipped it over.

One of my wheels is totally borked. It looks like the bearings cracked and were lost somewhere.

The set pin for the incline of the back rest has also been failing when I hit bumps, causing it to try and fold on me.

I've been waiting for the NDIS to deliver my new chair for over a year and I don't have an alternative. I can't mobilise independently without a power wheelchair.

I'm going to organise a taxi home but once I get home I will be stuck there.

I'm hoping to get this...

as it will be useful as an option that fits in a regular car, even when I eventually have my new standard power chair.
