    “What?” Even for him, his tone was unbelievably bitter. He wasn’t exactly known for his friendly demeanour but even for him, this was something else. Credit would have to be given to his young underclassman for having the guts to just walk up and address him like normal. It was a stupid idea but whatever.

    Frankly though, it was somewhat impressive that he even liked her enough to not just blank her entirely. If it were anybody else he might have just kept walking. Congratulations Jirou. You’re in his good books.

Advanced?” He pointed out a few books on the shelf. “I’ve read a few of these, and I think you can easily find new tricks using the internet instead of books. You get to see the motion of said trick instead of just reading it. Though I’m more of a visual learner, and still pictures don’t help me the least.”

     “Though I do wonder what made you pick up card tricks?”

    Well..it was hardly something he’d expected, but he couldn’t exactly go looking a gift horse in the mouth after it had been handed to him on a dapper silver platter.  “I’d like to say I’m somewhat advance. I’ve been practicing for a few years now...” he mutters picking out a book on the shelf with one hand, flicking the wrist of his other and waving as an Ace of Diamonds seems to appear almost magically in his grip.

    “I’m a second year student at U.A, and cards have always lent themselves well to my quirk, so I decided that given how useful they are and...truthfully how much I love a bit of dramatic flare, it would be kind of a waste not to gain some skill with them” He turns to face the man and smiles as he puts the book beneath his shoulder. “Even so, I’ve never been to good with technology, and sometimes it’s nice to just have something to read...so I decided it might be worth seeing if I can find something a little unorthodox”
