All I really wish from a season two of Fallout is for the writers and the overall production team to take their time with it. Give it the same amount of love they put into the first season (as it’s very obvious that was crafted with that kind of passion, despite Bethesda being Bethesda etc).

Also respectfully asking for people to be nice in the replies/reblogs. Don’t be a cunt in spoilering it or hate festing on it. Doesn’t make you cool at all.

I personally think the fallout tv show was pretty good, 7/10 personally. Wild what they’re doing to the Brotherhood of Steel but I guess over time with certain leaders in charge it do be like that. But at least they’re not transphobic*. Massive spoilers under the cut. You’ve been warned.

Yes! A canonical trans character, now def not the only one but Dane (they/them) felt very natural to be there. I personally headcanon them as trans masc nonbinary as I thought they were originally a trans man (bc by god do we need more trans men rep). Their identity wasn’t a trophy or “rep for rep points with the queer’s”. Hell didn’t even know there were gonna be canonical queer characters in it.

I also think their friendship with Maximus is pretty cool. Wished some more scenes with them but I get it, the story was following like? Four - five protagonists. So ehhh hope we get to see more in a hopeful season 2 which oh boy.

Now… idk but I feel like with what happened towards the end and the reveals. The Sole Survivor (Nate/Nora, player character of fallout 4) kind of…? Ruins their purpose felt like them being unique. The only actual survivor but I guess it makes sense the big players pre-war would make more cryogenic chambers for them. Unlike vault 111, vault 31 was more successful.

I think the adaptation in general was one of the better video game to movie/show adaptations. I think there was a lot of care put into it, sure Bethesda is Bethesda and even if they miss the mark it’s obvious that they care… at least a little bit to make a good chunk of people enjoy it.

Season 2… I hope they do it justice. FNV is obviously the most beloved out of the entire franchise. But nonetheless I am keen to see where the story goes. Hope we get to see some deathclaws, the ever unchanged coyote (reject mutation), nightstalkers (I think they’d be the coolest), of course the cazador.

Not gonna go on the actors performance or anything as I’m not an actor, the only drama class I really did was in primary school years ago. They did what worked for the characters I think, sure more could be desired but hey beggars can’t be choosers.

Not an official review of the episodes or anything just my rambled thoughts.

ive been seeing a new wave of transmedicalists lately I think we gotta start being vocal again about how nasty they are. you don't need to take hormones or have surgery to be a trans person. changing your name and pronouns is gender affirming care. wearing new clothes and hair and makeup is part of transitioning too. you dont need to pass to be trans, you don't need to be male or female.

nonbinary, agender, genderfluid, genderqueer people are trans too if that's a label they want to use for themselves. and anyone who says otherwise is a piece of shit. it's not "anti-transitioning" to say so, it's anti-telling other people what to do with their bodies. it's pro-minding your own fucking business and letting people do what they want with their gender and treating them with compassion and enthusiasm

A message for everyone in the SCP community

My last callout about Scamkiller was poorly worded, made in a hurry and didn't provide enough evidence. I, and a few other members of the SCP community, have now gathered more information and compiled them into this document.

Scamkiller is a member of the community infamous for several things, such as; Defending AdminBright, claiming their victims weren’t groomed, harassing several rewrite creators, transphobia, ableism, and stirring drama in the community.
