I like how when the crew splits up to explore an island, while luffy is doing something dumb/reckless zoro is often off doing his own dumb/reckless thing. in loguetown while luffy is climbing on the executioner's platform (and almost losing his head) zoro is throwing a cursed sword in the air to see if it will chop his arm off. while luffy is climbing a snowy mountain and befriending giant carnivorous bunny rabbits trying to save nami zoro is drowning in a river bc he thought a swim would b a good idea and getting saved by a giant duck. then when they're together they're actively planning reckless activities "hey won't it be great to meet one of the seven warlords and fight him"
