I've been constantly telling myself that there is nothing wrong with my ideas about my players' classpects, and it's more rather their lands that could have a problem.

So first, do you think the Land of Glow and Diaries fit a Maid of Void? And second, what can be a good land for a Bard of Doom that may not be interesting enough that he will neglect it, but doing so had severe consequences?

My original idea for the bard's land (Land of Meridians and Fire) sucks ass so that's why 😅

When I make a land, I generally follow creative-classpect’s method for doing so. It’s worked for my Rogue of Space and my other characters.

As for your Lands, I’m afraid I personally have no idea. These aren’t a thing you can really force, for me. Just relax, and the correct Land will come. Sorry I can’t be of further help.- mod balencia

Notice to Classpecting Blogs

For years now, I've compiled useful information from other classpecting accounts onto my computer. When classpecting, I often use this wealth of information as a reference guide.

I have since discovered, to my horror, that a large percentage of content I have saved no longer exists on the internet (due to the deletion of blogs, art accounts, etc).

That being said, though it is wildly unorganized, I am sharing my google drive with the rest of the classpecting/Homestuck community! I hope you are able to find use in it, or, at the very least, make sense of it.

hey there! i’ve got a little challenge for you. i’ve got a purpleblood named Sorian Bupkis who is a Prince of Breath, and He has a SERIOUS ego problem. His land is the Land of Whirlpools and Ichor, and I was wonder in if you could help coming up with a quest and/or a design? i want Him to learn how to NOT abuse the power He has over others, and I want Him to grow to be less of a dictator and more of a leader. if it helps, He uses the phrases “you owe me” and “do me a solid/favor” a lot, and exploits the false kindness He shows others to get underlings to do his bidding

Can I get fraymotifs for…

Heir of Life and Witch of Blood, Mage of Time and Seer of Void, and Knight of Life and Page of Mind?

A triad of duet fraymotifs with opposing classes, yeah I've got it.

Heir/Life + Witch/Blood Flock of Bloody Mother Nature Note: This requires the presence of some kind of animal eggs in the area of any type, and is more "effective" the more there's of the same animal.

The Heir manipulates growth for all the eggs, allowing them to burst into fully grown animals (depending of the type). Then the Witch proceeds to manipulate the connection, causing all the animals to assume the Witch is their authority figure, allowing the wield an entire army of newly born adult animals. MOREOVER , the animals in the flock which are the same type share their strength and health, only dying when their "combined health" is depleted. Making a one-type animal army an army of super-durable, super-strong animals.

Mage/Time + Seer/Void Object.Effect(Detect)

The Mage & Seer combine their knowledge powers of Time & Void and focus on a singular object. As they focus, they gain Information about Everyone who was ever effected by the object (hurt,manipulated,etc.) and then proceed to reveal the whereabouts of everyone who are still "Effected" by this object.

Knight/Life + Page/Mind Imaginative Mutation Harvest Note: This Requires Some Plant-life in the area.

The Page Provides the Knight with Ability to fully utilize their mind and possibilities while the Knight Exploits growth and evolution to make whatever mutations they want. A Tree that spews choclate? Tomatoes that are Blue? Pumpkins that are invisible and are also the cure for cancer? If the Knight can imagine it and the path of growth required for the plant to evolve, it's a reality he can manifest using this Fraymotif.

I definitely think something that isnt hit on nearly enough is how lonely Space players really are on average. And how every single character under the "space" umbrella is deeply yearning for their distance from others to be filled.

Jade, Calliope, Kanaya and even to an extend Porrim are all very lonely people who yearn for something from others and most of it is completely unrequited or constantly unfulfilled. Kanaya is extremely isolated like Jade was and had unrequited feelings for Vriska, trying to fill gaps with creating things for others and being helpful, Jade was absolutely isolated and had even resulted to talking to her own grandpas corpse and she was desperate from reprieve from it, she took whatever signs of her and her friends togethjer and ran with it regardless of any redflags in the situation and went straight towards the future she saw in skaia clouds. Calliope was so isolated and alone she self inserted herself into her own friends real lives as though it was fanfiction to her and seemed unreal and wrote out everything theyd do and shared art with Roxy and the others as a means to actively try to fill the gap and bond with them and become apart of that fun adventure.

One could even argue the way Porrim is, indicates a dissatisfaction of how things are with herself and others. Shes known for being promiscuous and motherly, but nobody exactly takes her seriously even when shes upset out of her team; she craves an intimacy both plantonic, emotionally and otherwise but she cant really get it from anyone shes pretty much stuck with to the extent she wants. This is especially true when you take her obvious pale crush on Kankri he refuses to reciprocate. Theres forever "space" between her and the others she wants to bridge.

I also think this is what causes the common idea of all Space players and the ever so friendly Blood players tend to connect very well by default. Blood players are ALL about the connections with others and the intimacy that comes with it. So it makes sense theyd be naturally drawn in by them a bit more.

How classes affect their session

Every class alters the parameters of the session in some unique way

Lord- the aspect is aggressive and pushing against the session Witch- their aspect must change or the session is screwed. They find a massive loophole Princes- there is too much of their aspect in the session and it has to be cut down Thieves- their aspect is fragmented and scattered, having no focal point Knight- there isn’t enough of the aspect. They have to utilize what little there is Maids- the negative parts of their aspect are numerous and closing in. They have to create more to act as a barrier Mage- an aspect disaster is coming down the line

Seer- their aspect’s machinations are so vast that they affect most actions in the session, but nobody knows it (their aspect is the illuminati) Sylph- the aspect is so horribly low it’s no longer a vital part of the session Page- their session isn’t aware of how important their aspect really is, being neglected even though it’s secretly valuable Rogue- their aspect is not evenly spread Bard- they and their session are aspect timebombs, but nobody wants to admit it Heir- their aspect is begging to help them, but it is shackled Muse- the aspect is distant and lost, bordering useless to the session

Class backgrounds

Classes, like any other great hero story, have a set up Note: these are pretty rough outlines

Actives Lord- have an aspect based disability, making them an outsider to the thing they desperately need and want, forcing them to manage their aspect objectively inside of them then outside of them Witch- an aspect nurturing environment, guided by a sort of aspect mentor figure Prince- grew up around too much, as a reaction they killed the aspect inside of them Thief- had very little aspect, making them extremely envious because their problems would be seemingly solved if they just had more aspect Knights- grow up in a anxiety inducing environent, focung them to use their aspect in hyper drive as a reflex Maid- surrounded by a very healthy aspect level, but it is insidious and starts turning against them until it is their enemy and thing they will replace Mage- their aspect is systematic and under control, slowly growing out of control. Their experience with it allows them to tackle the chaos and mess, slowly but surely changing the tides of it

Passives Seer- their aspect is solace and a safe haven against their opposite aspect. It is the tool allowing them to take control of their current situation, so they almost obsess over it Sylph- stuck to their aspect because it’s all they were really really naturally and genuinely good at, but they can only cultivate themself so much (hence the nosey meddling) Page- their aspect is their safe space and happy place, usually resulting in a childish dependence and fondness for it, but they learn to understand it’s true importance, not just the good times it brings them Rogue- their aspect allows them to cope with reality. While useful, they overindulge and need to shrug that off by opening their aspect up so they don’t feel like the only one Bard- grew up with a powerful internal aspect, but it was silenced. They see suppression of their aspect as a way to control, or at least not have to actually deal with it Heir- aspect handles it’s self so they don’t have to. It’s second nature, so they really aren’t aware of their affect on surrounding aspect Muse- brilliantly manage aspect around them, but have an aspect deprivation internally, so they control surrounding aspect to ‘fix’ it. Learn to figure out their internal is more powerful than external managing — Mind you, this is a super skeletal outline and each has waaay more depth and some flexibility. Not to mention excatlly how each operates, what they learn, and how they get there.

Is it okay for you to make a story out of all this? I also want to add in some more reactions for the friends and family of the knight. They would respond with anger at the knight for getting killed saving them, relief over the fact that the knight is alive again, or tears because they thought they were going to lose the knight forever.
