What is your theory on the Jean-Bennett Ramsey case? How did she die? Did the parents do it? Or did the brother do it and they covered for him? Or was it a family friend they walked in on molesting her? Who? And yet no has ever been arrested….

I personally think the parents did it, whether the parents did it for some sort of publicity or perhaps covered for their son due to an accident. Forensic writing analysis literally connected the writing in the ransom note to the mothers writing. The home was staged to look like a break in however nothing was stolen. If money is what the person was after why not also steal the valuables around the home? And for her to randomly appear in the basement or downstairs of the home is just very odd. I think the family knew a lot more then they wanted to admit.

The 2004 Napa Halloween Murders

On the last day of October in 2004 roommates Adriane Insogna(26), Leslie Mazzara, (26) and Lauren Meanza (27) spent their night handing out candy to children.

Around 11 pm the girls decided to go to bed. Leslie and Adrianes bedrooms were upstairs and Lauren’s was downstairs. The house stayed quite and peaceful until about 2am.

Lauren was awakened to the sound of shattered glass and a fearful scream, she snuck out of her room and began heading up the stairs until she heard the sound of heavy footsteps coming down the stairs toward her.

Lauren ran out the back door and hid in the yard until she heard the sounds of someone climbing out of the basement window and running off.

Lauren eventually gained the strength to go back inside and go up the stairs. She could hear crying coming from Adrianes room.

Nothing could have prepared Lauren for the blood bath she had walked into.

Leslie was lying face down in a pool of her own blood while Adriane was crouched behind the bed bleeding heavily and crying.

Upon trying to exit the room Lauren had slipped due to the blood covering the floor. She attempted to call 911 on the house phone but quickly found that the line was dead.

Lauren then grabbed her mobile phone called the police and ran out to her car where she drove off terrified that the attacker could still be lurking around the home.

Upon arrival the paramedics found Leslie deceased. Shortly after arriving Adriane also passed away. Both has been covered in stab wounds.

Police investigated the home attempting to piece together as much information as possible. They located cigarette butts outside of the girls home and assumed that the killer had sat and waited until the right time to break in.

None of the girls in the home smoked at the time. There was also blood and dna left from who they believed was the killer. But at that time it would have taken a little while for the results to come back.

Police initially believed that Leslie was that main target in the murder as she was attacked viciously and attacked first. It’s believed that Leslie was asleep when first attacked and she woke up and attempted to run away toward Adrianes room.

Adriane heard the attack going on and tried to run to her friends defense only to end up sustaining fatal wounds herself.

A few weeks prior to this heinous attack Adriane had been celebrating her 10 year anniversary from a car wreck her and a childhood friend were in.

Her and this friend Lily every year on the anniversary of this crash would celebrate as they always believed it was a miracle they had survived together.

A year after the murder Lily had decided after pushing it off the year before, to marry her boyfriend Eric Copple. She decided that life was too short after losing her friend Adriane.

In place of Adriane her mother attended the wedding and the song “she will be loved” was played in honor of Adrianes memory. It was her favorite song and as this was a happy moment for Lily it was also heartbreaking as they were missing such an important piece.

In September of 2005 the police decided to publicly release evidence about the case since they hadn’t found a match to the DNA found at the scene.

They released the type of cigarette butts left outside of the girls home. They were Turkish gold a variation of camels that had only been on the market for a short amount of time. They were one of the more rare cigarettes.

They did this in hope that since the cigarettes were so rare someone would have a lead.

However what happened next was unexpected.

Eric Copple and his now wife Lily had shown up at the police station late at night with some of his other family members.

Eric Copple confessed to the brutal murder of Leslie and Adriane. He believed when they released the information about the cigarettes that they were going to catch him. So he turned himself in.

Adrianes mother was horrified to think that she had attended the wedding of her daughters murderer.

In the beginning of the case the police admitted to calling Eric and leaving messages that he never responded too, and police never followed up.

In 2007 Eric Copple was sentenced to life.

Adrianes mother stated at the sentencing that her daughter had never liked wearing turtle necks. But she had no choice to be buried in one in attempt to cover the many wounds left on her body.

Leslie’s mother had written a 13 page letter describing the pain she’s experienced since losing her daughter. She described what a wonderful person Leslie was and how she was taken to soon by Eric Copple.

Copple never once looked either of their mothers in the eye. Copple blamed the murder on the death of his grandpa. He stated that it sent him into a depression and he began using alcohol to cope.

Lily, Eric’s wife and Adrianes best friend said she knew a gentler Eric. That Eric could do nothing to change her love for him. But despite that claim Lily ended up divorcing him.

Eric resides today in Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga California. Where he is serving life without the chance of parole.

On February 23rd a mother made a gruesome and heartbreaking discovery in her own home. She found the remains of her dismembered son in her own basement.

On the 22nd and 21st Shad Thyrion was spending time with Taylor Schabusiness. The two were involved in a sexual friendship. Taylor and a friend had picked Shad up on the 21st and went to a friends home to smoke some marijuana.

The friend ended up leaving shortly after, Shad and Taylor then proceeded to smoke meth. Schabusiness then shot up herself and shad with Trazodone, a drug typically used as an antidepressant.

The two then made there way back to Shads mothers house where they went down to the basement. The two had began engaging in sexual activity. They had brought chains into the bedroom which in Taylors words resembled a dog collar.

Shad lay face down and Taylor began to choke shad with the chains. This is something they had engaged in in the past according to taylor.

Thyrion began coughing up blood and turning purple. Taylor states she just "went crazy." She admitted she enjoyed choking shad but states she never meant to kill him.

Once Shad had passed away Taylor continued to sexually assault the body. She stated she "played with the body for like two or three hours."

Schabusiness then retrieved some knives from the kitchen and began dismembering the body. She claimed that the bread knife worked the best because of the serrated edge.

Taylor then put the body parts in bags and containers that she had found in the basement. She explained that she began to get lazy and paranoid and planned to initially take all of the body parts with her.

However she only took one leg and left the head and genitals in a bucket by the basement stairs and covered it with a blanket.

She also left the knives and the rest of the body.

When captured Taylor told police they were going to have fun trying to find all the organs and body parts of her former friend.

Taylor has been charged with 1st degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse and 3rd degree sexual assault. The judge ordered Taylor to undergo a mental competency evaluation to see if she would be mentally stable enough to stand trial.

Taylor came back competent but was asked per her team for a 2nd evaluation. Taylors Scheduled hearing is for Nov 1st 2022.

Shad Thyrion was known as kind and compassionate. He was known to often put others before himself. He enjoyed music, going camping and spending time with his family.

Alberto Soledad Gomez (28)

Nicknamed "Canninal of Las Ventas'"

In the 2019 Alberto Gomez (26 at the time) Was arrested for murdering and dismembering his mother after a dispute.

He had transferred his mother's body to the bed after strangling her and dismembered her body with a carpenters saw and two kitchen knives.

He then stored parts of her body in tupperwares and placed them in the fridge and around the house. Police received a call from a friend requesting a welfare check on Maria Soledad Gomez (68) after not seeing her for a month.

When detectives arrived on scene and knocked on the door Alberto answered and said " Yes, my mother is in here dead." Once Gomez had let the officers in the home he added " Me and the dog have been eating her bit by bit."

When detectives went through the Gomez residence they found bones shoved inside drawers around the home as well as remains left in a pot on the stove. Remain filled tupperwares were placed in the fridge and around the home.

Detectives also stated that Maria's hands, head and heart were found on her bed.

Her body had been cut up in over 1000 pieces and consumed over a period of time.

Gomez had thrown out bits of her body trying to dispose of it, he also consumed bits of her raw.

Alberto claims he heard voices telling him to murder his mother. It's argued that he had suffered from a psychotic episode. Alberto had been admitted to Princesa Hospital on several occasions to undergo treatment in the past.

However, the courts denied that. When initially interviewed by detectives Alberto was asked why he killed his mother and his response was "because she made his life impossible."

Gomez will serve 15 years in prison for the brutal crime.

he claims he suffers from anxiety from the moment he wakes up and thinks of his mother and is absolutely heartbroken.

How long does it normally take to research a case and make sure what you’re putting out on Tumblr is true?

It depends on how many cases I choose to write about that day, but typically when I sit down to write a case with a lot of details it takes me a good 2 to 3 hours, at times longer than that. I really like to make sure my sources are reliable and that I have the details correct before posting it. Normally when I post 3 in one day it can take 8 hours.

Dismembered Man found in 2 Suitcases Along Trail

On December 29th 2020 Joshua Lockards remains were found near Sanderson Gulch Trail in Denver Colorado.

Benjamin Satterthwaite is being held on suspicion of first degree murder.

The cause and manner of Joshua’s death is currently pending according to the coroners office.

Man Dismembers Landlord and Attempts to Dispose of the Parts in a Badgers Den.

Daniel Walsh (30)

Daniel Walsh brutally murdered Graham Snell his landlord on June 20th 2019 in his home in Chesterfield.

Daniel murdered and Dismembered Snell shortly after Snell had reported Walsh as a lodger in his home to police on the last day he was seen alive. Snell had also reported that day that he had caught Walsh stealing from his bank accounts.

Walsh told investigators that he came home and found Mr Snell dead and panicked. He then went to a local hardware store, bought saws and rubble bags so he could dispose of Snell.

Walsh proceeded to toss the remains across the the small town including throwing them in a badgers den.

However the Court didn’t believe Daniels story.

The court explained how Walsh spent the days after the brutal murder blowing Mr. Snells savings on Casinos, massage parlours, alcohol and drugs.

Daniel Walsh was found guilty and is to serve at the least 27 years before the chance of parole.

The evidence the team has discovered has been extremely distressing for those working on the case and those who had to endure the evidence in court.

Indianapolis man Kills 4 over Stimulus Money

Malik Halfacre (25)

On March 13th 2021 Malik Halfacre Fatally shot, Anthony Johnson, Tomeeka Brown, Daquan Moore and 7 year old Eve Moore.

He also shot the mother of his 6 month old daughter Jeanettrius Moore.

Police were called at 818pm a report of a person shot with several gun shot wounds. It was Jeanettrius, she was rushed to the hospital. She told police there were others hurt at her home.

Jeanettrius also told police he had stolen their 6 month old daughter, her black chevy impala and her cellphone.

When officers arrived at the scene they found all 4 victims shot and dead, all were pronounced dead at the scene.

Once in custody a day after the murders, Halfacre told investigators that him and Jeanettrius had gotten into an argument over a stimulus check. Jeanettrius’s brother Daquan got involved  and according to Halfacre both had guns drawn.

Halfacre told investigators “I shot first because I knew whoever fires first would be the one who lives.” He also said Daquan had only fired once during the shooting and Halfacre had fired his gun alot.

Halfacre said when he stopped firing everyone was on the floor from being shot. He then took his 6 month old daughter and Jeanettrius before returning to the home.

Later his 6 month old daughter was found safe at Halfacre’s sisters house. When asked how Eve Moore had been short Malik claimed he didn’t remember how that happened.

Jeanettrius however paints a different story about what happened on that tragic night.

She told investigators that Malik had wanted more stimulus money then she was willing to give. He ended up leaving and returned later that day. When he returned he asked Jeanettrius again for more money and she again told him no.

Malik then began to go through her purse. It was then that Daquan Moore Jeanttrius’s brother stepped up to Malik and told him to leave his sisters money alone.

Halfacre then pulled his gun out and immediately shot her brother, he then pointed his gun at her cousin Anthony Johnson and shot him. Her 7 year old daughter Eve Moore began to scream and Halfacre turned to her and shot her as well.

He then went into the other room and shot her mother Tomeeka Brown who was on the phone at the time.

Malik is charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery, Carrying a firearm without a permit and Auto Theft.

Malik will be eligible for the death penalty.

8 year old Dies after Guardians force Cruel Punishment.

In Odessa Texas on August 29th, Jaylin (8) breathed her last breath when her Guardians Daniel and Ashley Schwarz decided to punish the child for something she had done previously.

It’s said that Daniel and Ashley denied Jaylin food or water that day and made the 8 year old jump on a trampoline for hours. 

The weather that day had reached up to 110 Degrees and the child eventually collapsed. 

Daniel and Ashley are now facing Capital Murder charges for the death of Jaylin.

It is unclear why Jaylin was placed with Daniel and Ashley.

Father Murders Children and Hangs up “Worlds Greatest Daddy” Shirt.

in 2018 John Edwards (67) Shot and killed his children.

Edwards ex wife Olga believed that he would one day murder her children and she’d come home to their bodies.

Five months before the murders a court granted Olga full custody of the children. Edwards was not meant to know where Olga and the kids had relocated.

It is believed that Edwards hired a private investigator to find them.

Gun in pocket Edwards waited at the train station for his Daughter Jennifer (13) to get off the train and head home.

He followed her to her mothers house where he chased her inside. He then fired 14 shots at Jennifer and Jack (15).

When leaving the home a neighbor looked at Edwards and asked him “what have you done?” Edwards never responded.

John then went home and pulled out a shirt that read “ Worlds Greatest Daddy.” and hung it over his drawers. He then shot himself taking his own life.

Jennifer and Jacks bodies were found under Jacks computer desk.

Olga, Edwards ex wife took her own life 6 months after the murder suicides in December.

Edwards had 10 other children with 7 other women. Almost all of which had filed reports against Edwards for violence, stalked and abuse.

One women was so terrified she changed her name and moved away to avoid him.

8 Year Old Boy Tells School Counselor he saw Father Kill Mother.

Rebecca Hoover(38) was brutally murdered by her Husband Judson Hoover (50) on August 2nd 2020.

Their 8 year old son confided in a school counselor that he had seen his father murder his mother in the basement of their home.

The boy stated that he say his mother being stomped 20 times and stabbed in the stomach with a set of keys until she was bleeding and unconscious.

In court Judson told the judge that after he had strangled his wife to death he put her body in a 50 gallon container and drove it to 2 different storage units.

The police found Rebecca's body that Monday.

Rebecca’s friend Chris Karraker told the station that Judson was highly abusive towards Rebecca for years, that if you thought of all the horrible things that could cross your mind, they were probably done to Rebecca times 10. 

Records show that Judson filed for divorce on August 3rd the day after he murdered her.
