Santa is on strike due to global warming.  All presents this year will be delivered by Sasha the Christmas Tiger.  Milk and cookies may not be sufficient.

I always knew my disability could get worse as I get older but I guess I didn't realize how bad it was getting until our annual road trip this year. I can't drive long distances anymore. My muscles spasm so much I can't hold my foot on the pedal. I've been fine for driving in and around town so I guess I assumed it would be fine. 🤦🏼‍♀️ on top of that the pain from being in the car is just too severe. A real depressing realization that my body is eventually going to be more frail than I imagined. Maybe I'm mourning again? I did a lot of that the year I had a flare so severe I literally couldn't walk or stand and lost all muscle reaction in my legs. It came back mostly and I am ambulatory but at the cost of extreme physical pain. It is what it is I guess.

Actually, fat on pork is delicious in my opinion. So, if human does really taste similar to pork then it stands to reason that a fattened up kid would be delicious. I have made my case.

Very interesting to see what's coming up in the garden this year. We took a year off after our longest resident pepper plant died due to neglect. The time was better spent with the baby. Anywho in the garden in late August 9b with no rain and daily temps of 100+ BUT shade from 4 1/2 trees. We currently have peas, pole and bush beans, summer squash plants, luffa gourd, & weirdly??? Lavender. I have questions about that last one lmao. Lavender does NOT grow here Lol. I mean technically under the right conditions anything can grow anywhere but it really doesn't do well here. I planted some in the windowsill and nothing came up so I gave up and put the pot outside for later seedlings. Low and behold it popped up! At least I am pretty sure it's lavender. I definitely do this a lot so there's a small chance it's a flower of some kind. We'll see! 😅🤣

As we deal with record high heat across the world it's important to remember to utilize shade if you're trying to garden. Shade cloth and shade from trees are the only thing that make growing new plants possible in the heat I'm in.

Started the fall garden and did NOT expect these peas to come up yet but they look amazing! Started some of my personal heritage beans as well, along with zucchini and loofah. All that could tolerate the high temperature outside from seed this year. Let's see what happens!!
