It was allergy season. The Bradford Pears were in full bloom. You could smell their thick, mealy pollen strongly when the wind blew and the March winds were blowing strongly.
Well, working for social services during the ‘lockdown’ has been interesting (but not very much fun, lately). We have to ride along on the client’s bus and step out and interrogate them first, and then shoot 'em between the eyes with a laser thermometer, before they are allowed to step one foot onto the bus. Of course, they lie during the interrogation. And of course the outside of their skin in usually around 88 degrees on cool mornings.
Every day brings a new version of draconian policy adaptations. The latest iteration is that we can only have 10 clients (down from 50) a day, and they must be rotated so that no client attends on consecutive days. If it’s all the same to anybody, why don’t they just close down? If they’re so worried about germs, why do they even stay open and risk exposing everybody? We’re a voluntary-attendance, day treatment facility and none of our jurisdiction is emergency or essential.
Staff is another matter however. I had sniffles and a scratchy throat one morning (likely allergies from the pollen) and I have been made to feel like a pariah ever since. (Of course, everyone is in panic mode and downright scared…I really do understand that).
What a different world it has become almost overnight. My workplace only now decided to close (they wanted to give all the workers time to contract disease from the clients before sending them home without healthcare).
Went by the grocery store. Fortunately I’m a vegetarian and there was food to buy. All those poor carnivores must be eating McNuthins. I don’t know how anybody’s going to poop (without any toilet paper). I suppose social isolation is a good idea during the shortage. I did manage to find my deodorant (so I 'stocked up’)…the new ‘paperless’ normal!
As far as the universal basic income (democratic candidate Andrew Yang’s proposal): there’s nothing like stock market in free fall, sudden tax-base of zero for the whole nation, cities that can’t even afford garbage pickup much less run a jail or courtroom, oil below $20/barrel ($50 is the break-even point for profit), widespread death and panic, alongside global supply shortages for necessities and no labor force to draw from, (etc. etc. etc.) to get the attention of entrenched power-monopolists who are facing re-election in a few months! Did you ever read the Ayn Rand novel 'Atlas Shrugged’?
As it turns out, the 1,200 dollars the politicians have promised to every man, woman and child will only amount to 600 for me. Discount prices for discounted citizens. Not that impoverished citizens without jobs or healthcare would need it anymore than those with healthy savings and insurance (and extra stockpiles of toilet tissue), mind you; it just shows you how carefully they have considered all angles of yet another slap in the face. Perhaps the new norm is just the same old norm only more of it.
When we consider the Malthusian bias of principles versus volition, having been thusly directed into a faith of reason, that Matter is Alive and Order is Social, we must accept a similar confidence that willful beings are trustworthy, adjusting our discretionary judgments accordingly.
This means that evil is antithetical to existence (that it cannot ‘be’) and that Mathematical Randomness is a…
Human Nature shapes and designs its environment in new ways which bring meaning and utility to the service of our needs, whether practical or aesthetic. The ability to see the big picture, to assess relationships, and to discover significance is what makes art the alchemy of our future. R-directed thinking is interdisciplinary and holistic: it is a Renaissance Perspective which Integrates technology, cognitive science, utility and beauty, bringing Human Consciousness forth into New Frontiers of expanded evolutionary excellence.
And there’s more: this New Consciousness exists Embodied within the new Designer Environment, co-recruiting the spontaneous improvisation of problem-solving resources with the maximum efficiency and lowest expenditure of energy. We are co-evolving along with the surrounding context of our own creative designs. Human cognitive function has now grown outside of our individual heads to become embodied alongside us in the participatively reciprocating millieu of our Cultural Objects.
In such Living Entification as this, it will be essential that Holistic and Integrated Ecology of Form and Structure be taken into account and the greatest care be lavished upon the ultimate sensitivity of our ongoing structurations; for every actuality is now an influential contributory to our health, livelihood and well-being. The Magical Paradise has Evolved and we are now the Chief Earthly Stewards of all that we see before us and whatever is to come.

Metaphysical Qabalah
The following was found from one of our old websites going back to (2012):
Metaphysical Qabalah is a practical thought technology which enables you to target any type of objective with the confidence of exact and precise results. It works no matter if your goal comes through the conscious or sub-conscious state.
You can find a more recent version of it (which is a little…
Welcome to Metaphysical Qabalah, a Spiritual and Educational Organization located in Greensboro, NC. Metaphysical Qabalah holds classroom sessions on Sunday afternoons (see schedule) that explore the practical aspects of Esoteric Spirituality in modern society. We invite you to attend!

Deep Ecology and nonlinear dynamics
To address the complex nature of living things, scientists and mathematicians have developed a body of concepts known as non-linear dynamics (or complexity theory). Non-linear equations were resistant to solution until recently as high-speed computers have been developed. Now, with modeling and other novel techniques, a new and exciting science has emerged.
Deep Ecology
Concurrent with (or perhaps because of this), new disciplines have come forth such as eco-psychology, eco-feminism, and of particular interest to us: transpersonal ecology and social ecology.
Concepts associated with these might be expressed in language such as phase portraits, attractors, bifurcation, and fractals.
Important to these new disciplines is the extension of the conceptual into the domain of physical space and matter. The dimension of Time will be found to be symmetrical, with material causality operating from the historical present and projecting causality forward in time, while consciousness and intuition will be retro-causal, pulling us forward into the future via intangible backward in time poiesis.
Thus systems are not as self organizing as we now believe (but are self adjusting, at least in the sense of a living self who is sentient). This, of course, means that systems are alive. There is still a major role for the observer yet there will be found a plurality of witnesses which constitute, as it were, interconnected societies of observers, nested within communities of systems.
It also implicates matter in the sociology of life, meaning in other words, that matter is alive. Distinctions like ‘organic and inorganic’ will become irrelevant because everything is organic, Processural, dynamic and evolving… and conscious. Physical matter will be described as semiotic information just as the current notion of assemblage will transform to include systemic organs.
The grand purpose of social design will be to facilitate low-imprint and sustainable communities that nurture nature’s true way and her ability to support and sustain life. Nature has developed finely tuned principles that contribute to the health of her web of life and sociology must rise to the occasion and lead our society and its legal, political and economic structures toward harmony with this cosmic reality.

Pixel Hat’s Mulberry Tree at ‘the Park’ I remember exactly when and who it was that taught me that haunted song. It was my earliest (and best) nursery school: Becky’s in Greensboro NC. Becky was pure ‘Thelma and Louise’; she drove a red Cadillac convertible as an accessory to her shiny black hair and fair,…

Here are some fancy chairs for you; just right for that hard to furnish focal point. We don’t ship these ourselves, but will help if you make the arrangements. We’d love to have you come by (and pick them up!).
This is a slim, smaller version of the large cases found in old apothecaries. This one is in nice condition.
I’ve heard chairs of this type referred to as ‘King’ chairs (there is a smaller one like this known as the 'Queen’ chair)
Old Timey Radios (two are shown: the large ones); actually all the old radios shown in the picture are available.
Caswell Faire is always on the lookout for unique and hard to find items. In this case we have gotten our hands on some kind of…

Campaign for Esoteric Literacy
Welcome to the Campaign for Esoteric Literacy! This project tackles the growing backlog of Metaphysical Qabalah’s super-extensive archives. You know, we’ve been at this for the last decade now and our archives are bursting at the gills. We’ve got to do something to make these resources available to the public.
The project is far too enormous to tackle in one fell…
