y’know i understand the coffee theory, i do. cuz azi is an angel. he’s higher than human. angels are seen as perfection, lacking mistakes, etc etc etc i get it.

but azi is also arguably the most human angel there is maybe next to jim and mistakes are part of the human condition.

so if we agree that azi is a very human angel, then mistakes are inevitable.

but this is a very good point! part of me still finds the focus of the ily thing to be a little much just in the sense that i can put myself in darcy’s shoes and i wouldn’t like that very much. but i do see what you mean about tara using that as a way to get to the deeper shit behind everything without blatantly asking about it ig?

idk i know what you mean and i totally get it but part of it still rubs me the wrong way if it makes sense?

idk i think season two tara kinda pissed me off a bit with how much of a deal she made over darcy not being able to that back right away.

idk this is coming from someone who also can’t say ily easily so i’m biased ofc but. that stuff doesn’t come easily for a lot of people and it’s not a big deal. idk i just feel like tara should’ve been more understanding of darcy not being able to say it right away and it kinda feels like to me that darcy was pressured into saying it back in a way so that doesn’t feel as genuine?? idk. idk guys.

seen a lot of theories about episode six.

gonna share what i think.

this might be a long post.

i don’t think there’s anything in the coffee. and as much as i want to believe the metatron has something to do with azi agreeing to go back to heaven, i don’t think that’s fully it.

azi wants, more than anything i’d argue, to be a good angel. and i think in his mind that to be that good angel, he thinks he has to change the way the institution is ran. and being higher up, taking gabriel’s position, he sees is his way to do it. he genuinely thinks he’s making the right choice and doing what needs to be done to fix an eternity of mistakes on heaven’s part.

now. him asking crowley to join him and be an angel again.

i don’t think azi sees anything wrong with crowley or who he is, other than the fact he was punished for simply asking questions. azi doesn’t want to change who crowley is, in fact i think he wants to give him the opportunity to ask more questions and maybe help him change things along the way. i don’t think his offer to crowley was meant in a mean way or anything to change who crowley is. just meant to give him more power behind his questioning.

i don’t think azi is in the wrong here, as much as what he did hurts. he simply made a mistake and there’s not much more to it.

idk. these are just my thoughts surrounding that scene and what i’ve heard other people say about why azi did what he did.
