“I’m sorry. I’m sorry that he hurt you, I’m sorry that you’re still afraid to talk about it, and I’m sorry that you think I’ll never understand. I’m sorry that he tricked you into thinking you deserved it."

My hand slipped and I drew the Trojans! I’m so in love with these characters and I will most likely be drawing them again a billion times! I drew them as I envisioned them in my head, so if it’s wrong with any descriptions or something please let me know !

A quick sketch I did of Jean and Elodie in her duck dress while listening to All of the Stars and thinking about these two hurt me so unbelievably much. I can simply not describe to you how awful it is that he lost her without knowing, probably to people who were just as cruel as the ones he ended up with… I bet Jean was such a wonderful older brother and the both of them deserve the entire fucking world.
Thank you so much @korakos for giving us this gift of a book, I am heartbroken and so delighted to read every word!

There is something we need to address before The Sunshine Court drops in a few days, and that is the reality that at least 70% of whom Jean and Jeremy are as characters it is based purely on fanon from the past decade. Their canon appearances are limited in the trilogy, and their descriptions are superficial because Neil is not the best when talking about something that isn’t Exy or Andrew.
The reason this is important to mention is because the new book may change a lot about how we view them or the idea we had of them, and I have noticed a lot of the people in this fandom don’t like their fanon contradicted. Best example is how Nora explained Thea character and story and still people decided to ignore it and continue their fanon that Thea is an awful person.
Basically, what I am trying to say is leave your toxicity behind for this new book. It is okay if you don’t like it or didn’t enjoy it, but don’t come at others for not agreeing with you. Especially, don’t attack the author just because she didn’t follow 10 years of headcanons about a character. Just be open to the idea that the canon can and will differ from your own expectations.

Like everyone else I will be tagging my TSC stuff #tsc spoilers, so remember to have that filtered before tomorrow in case you won’t have access to read in the book in the near future!

That scene from the fourth book in the Shamer Chronicles by Lene Kaaberboel, which has owned my whole heart for as long as I can remember
Lil' context for people who might not have read the Shamer Chronicles:
Dina (the girl) is of a family where all the women have the power to look people in the eye and make them feel shame/relive their most shameful moments. This usually makes them judges and revered wise women, but in a time where war and fascism starts to tear her world apart she and her family are hunted as witches or kidnapped and used against their will to break people.
As a result most people are too afraid to look her in the eye and it takes a special someone to overcome their own shame and look at them with familial care and love.
Enter Tano, who is a former Thrall/slave that Dina was forced to break because he kept preaching workers' rights to his lord - but who was so stubborn he and Dina ended up breaking each other. Quite literally. She spends the next couple of books unable to use her powers properly and spending time with people that reinforce the idea that she's a monster or a witch.
Until she meets Tano at the end of the story once more and they begin to stubbornly rebuild each other's self esteem and eventually caring deeply about each other, enabling Dina to do the impossible, casting shame upon an entire army and making grown men curl up and cry xD
If you read all this thank you! It's a really beautiful story of self-love, pride and appropriate shame, and I cannot recommend it enough !

These twinks really don’t be pulling punches
“Touch her and you die” try with “touch her and I break the galaxy, space, time and fate, commit genocide and become a godly being/dictator”
