Ghost or Fae encounter?

I once had a dream where I was in an empty city. Then, I got a phone call and picked up my sudden (red) phone. I didn't know who was on the other line but I went; hello, and someone answered, "Hi! What's your name?" I've dealt with nasty spirits before, so I stuck to my heavily-instated belief and said; "I'm not allowed to give you my name! ...What's yours?" I could literally feel the FROWN in their silence. And then a grin. Then they spoke--(I think their name) but I couldn't hear it. The silent-empty city was suddenly full of noise, people talking, cars honking, and literally, everything a packed city is known for. Couldn't hear the other person at all! Then they hung up, and the dream shortly ended. Your thoughts on this, perhaps?

Certainly sounds like it! Couldn't tell you exactly what it was. Sounds like a demon tho, or something similar. Espacilly with the use of a phone and emvironment. Although there are plenty other things that make use of that. I'm glad you knew what to do in that situation! I've had to help drag my friends out of some stuff because of situations like that before, so it's very nice to hear when someone protects themselves!

Also them saying their name but covering it up with traffic noise is hilarious.

That is a good example of a shapeshifter. Most likely specifically a pooka. A pooka (also spelt puca, puka, phooka, etc.) are a kind of Irish faerie. They are tricksters who enjoy pranking people. When they shapeshift they can only shpeshift into the colors that they already are, which is usually black or brown. It is from one of their myths that the idea of iron being able to hurt faeries comes from.

They are said to be able to tell people prophecies. A common story about pookas is that they'll turn inti a pony and lay in the middle of the road waiting for someone to try and get it out of the way. It then throws the unsuspecting person on its back, sticks them there with magic, and takes runs off terrifyingly fast. Sometimes it will then throw the person off into bushes or something, which would seem fine if those bushes were not blackberry bushes more often then not.

Speaking if which, pookas really like blackberries. It is even said that when the blackberries go bad, they now belong to the pooka, so one should not try to eat them.

Turns out fae really like porridge.

Heres the recipe I use:

Heat milk in saucepan and mix in flour until it thickens

Add in sugar at some point, I like doing both while in the pot and once you put it in the bowl.

Once in the bowl add butter. I also like to add honey.

I made more fairy house stuff!

I made a play house for the mushroom fairies since they wanted toys

And I made a bath cause I finished a candle that happened to be inside a tea cup so I washed the wax out and used it as a bath tub. The contents of the jars are soap, rose petals, and oats. There is also a clothes line.

GUYS I FINISHED MY FAIRY HOUSE AND IM REALLY PROUD OF IT

So allow me to give you a tour

Here we have the vanity, for seeing how fantastic your wings look today

Next we have the nursery, so your baby can sleep safe and sound with forget me nots painted on the walls! And on the other side there are the colors for all the fairy genders! Mauve for boys, white for girls, and blue for the nonbinary fairys! With of course, toys for them to play with.

Next we have the library, with a book of poems and a book of royalty.

And right by it we have the bedroom for you tp sleep in fit with protection sigils on the walls for your safety! Plus some sleepy tea in a jar on the nightstand just in case.

Next we have the kitchen, fitted with a jar of sugar, honey and water, plus a box of extra plates and cups that doubles as a table.

And here we have the dining room, out now we have cups of snow water and a desert of chocolate! Plus a cork board on the wall for you to post any mail you would like to keep.

Do you know anything about waking up in strange places? I remember once I fell asleep on the couch during the middle of summer. Next thing I knew, it was midnight, and for some reason I was outside on the roof of my apartment building.

Sounds kinda like sleep walking to me but Ill try and look into it.

By the way, Ive been talking a lot about how useful witchcraft is in two of the recent posts. If you are dealing with fae or demons or ghosts or something I would recommend either finding a witch to help you out or to learn some witchcraft. Although I will mention that there are different types of witchcraft and different witches specialize in different things. So just be aware of that. :D

I assume you are asking about for fae.

So depending on what kind of fae you are putting out offerings for it can differ but fae tend to really enjoy sugary foods. Also milk apparently. They also like shiny things and (depending on the fae) pretty rocks or crystals. They also really like music.

You mean like tree folk?

Fire.

Fighting the fae does not often end well if you aren't using wit. If anything try to out wit them.

If you cut down whatever plant they are connected to, they'll probably die. There is a chance their friend will seek vengeance or they will haunt you though.

I would also suggest you bring some sort of spell bottle or at least a sigil with you, idk if theyll count that as cheating though... I also dont know how comfortable with witchcraft you are. I would be happy to show you how to make such things though. Or at least how I do it if you are interested.

Do you know anything on the undead? Specifically ghosts. I have one that sits in my desk chair at night.

Okay so here's the thing about ghosts. There are a lot of different kinds of them. But the one you are talking about sounds like it could be one of 3

Time loop, object/person attachment, or unfinished business.

HOWEVER in my experience ghosts are often (at least the ones I have met) lost or stuck on this plane of existence and just need help getting to the afterlife.

So to get rid of them there are a bunch of different ways you could go about it, one of the ways I do it though involves witchcraft and idk how comfortable you are with that so Im gonna tell you the other easy way.

Talk to them. Yes Im serious. Figure out why there there and if they need help, read the vibes if you arent good with talking. Also be nice to them, and dont bring up that they are dead as sometimes they do not know. Try to be as polite as you can, being rude does not often help supernatural situations. Try to calm them down or befriend them. They arent usually stabby. But if they are, figure out whats wrong. Also figure out why they are there.

My girlfriend kinda... It almost seems like she attracts ghosts?? Idk. She kinda got sick of kicking them out so she just lets the nice ones chill with her. Sometimes the ones with nasty vibes shes gotta cleanse stuff after they leave.

Anyway, in conclusion. Ghosts are often stuck. Either its a time loop thing, an earthy attachment, or theyre lost. Sometimes theyre there for a specific reason. Im kina curious to know what yours is doing there.

If you need any real help on getting rid of it or sending them to the afterlife, please ask.

So, I don’t know if you’ve noticed but a lot of problems with, demons, fae, ect. are started because people are complete idiots with deals and contracts. So I am here to give you a few rules to live by with making deals.

1. Make sure there are always loopholes for yourself but no possible loopholes for the person you are making the deal with.

2. BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE! I DON’T CARE HOW STUPID YOU SOUND! SPECIFY THAT THE SKY NEEDS TO STAY BLUE IF YOU HAVE TOO! BE SPECIFIC!

3. Demons and fae often forget that humans are smart and can think for them selves. (This is from often making deals with idiots or people that are desperate.) USE THAT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE. However DO NOT mistake that for stupidity! They are still clever and have had centuries to prove it.

4. Be careful. the supernatural can be very petty sometimes.
