The thing is, Judai has the personality and charisma to carry the show. We didn't need to know any information before he came to academia, because we didn't need to know until it was necessary. But, for Yusaku all his character revolves around his trauma and theme of loss, so it was important to know about him to understand what was his life like before the incident.

@jhessail Is a problem related to fujoshi and how they attack people who argue over the lack of F/F.

It's kind of annoying how people would try to deviate from the point of what a lot of women fans mention about internal misogyny in fandom spaces. What they are asking is that people shouldn't stay in their comfort zone. They should abandon preconceptions about female characters that are toxic in fandoms and see more outside of the bubble than just watching M/M stuff.

Like Jesus Christ, this is what people have mentioned for years about people who only watch Marvel movies and only stay in one niche when there is more variety.
