Cryptid of the Day: Cayuga Lake Monster

Description: In 1897, the Ithaca Journal in New York published reports of a monster in Cayuga Lake, around 60 years prior in 1826. Then again in 1926, though this time with a theory that the monster was actual from Seneca Lake, and came to Cayuga through hidden underwater tunnels.

Cryptid of the Day: Appalachian Ape

Description: A name sometimes used for Bigfoot seen in Maryland is Appalachian Ape. Sighting first started in May of 1973, around Baltimore. One man, Bob Chance, have been investigating sightings of the creature even before the 1970s. He even casted a three toed footprint.
