SYNOPSIS:

Bubblegum has developed its powers after so many years, which leads his parents to make the decision to send him to "Sacre Academy"  to learn to control them on a new island called "Tombstone Island". In it, he will meet his cousins: Abyss and Ace.  Meanwhile, hell is in danger, since the devil's fork has disappeared and the blame will go directly to the Exorcists.

Great News Coming! [READ DESCRIPTION]

Well, there are many things I'd like to clarify. That's why this publication, so let's go in parts.

First of all, I had to delay and rewrite many of my fankid comics over and over again, since most of the artists I was inspired by are no longer active. And once you lose inspiration, creativity goes away. Since I try to make my projects somewhat original but without losing the aura of inspiration in other great artists.

I already have most of my comic "The Good Ending" structured in my mind, and I'm putting it into writing on Patreon as a script format. If you want to see it in advance, you can access my Patreon at the "Tip Jar" level. It will have a slight design change in the characters (a combination between rubberhose and my art style) to make it more striking, and this will be reflected on the cover of the comic, therefore it will also be redrawn with these new styles.

Regarding the rest of my comics (most of Cuphead) I simply kept them on Hiatus since if I want to advance with this comic, I must concentrate on the ones I want to progress, I know that many of you will hate me because I recently made a poll about What next comic page did you want to see, but I guess sometimes people make hasty decisions (I'm really sorry, I'm like Pomni, I have anxiety and it leads me to make stupid decisions, I'll try to correct that)

Now we move on to the other Fankids comic I have: Sciontale. Well, this AU will have a name change, and this will be Epsilontale (or ɛtale). I'll show the reason for this name in this comic explaining why "Espilon". This means that my main fankid will also have a redesign and a name change (I already made a poll about it to help me define her new name) the rest of the characters will remain the same. This means that I'll rewrite the first pages and redraw the cover, but remember that you can always see the previews on my patreon (I'm not very active but I always try to update). So for now I'm going to delete the first two pages as they will be deleted and rewritten. 

I recently saw a theory that says that Undertale monsters age extremely slowly, I liked it, so I'll apply it in my AU, so there will be fankids and characters that I plan to eliminate and others that I'll modify. Once again, sorry

-In a change of scene, at dusk Bubblegum is in the castle with his parents, while he and his mother are sitting in the living room, his father is talking on the phone with Ms. Chalice-

-Chalice: So, are you telling me that Bubblegum finally developed his powers?

-Cuphead: that's not the question. Why did his powers manifest now? I thought the time for demonstration had already passed.

-Chalice: I only said it was unlikely. It's impressive that he did it though.

-Cuphed: anyway, are you willing or not?

-Chalice: of course, I'll talk to the director of the academy, and the teachers, there's always room for one more. You'll see that Gum will fit in, and he will be happy to see his cousins!

Well, as I said, since I changed the ship, it's now part of the Exorcist AU headcanon and my Fankid AU! ----------------------------------

And for those who don't know, they're 10 years apart. (Chalice is 17 -18, while Dice is 27-28).

And for those who complain that what I'm doing involves a "minor" Chalice is basically no longer a minor (both legally and physically), we're talking about a young adult. As for the children, it's only a platonic love on Chalice's part until they grow up and Dice would only see her as a tender girl whom he's fond of. So stop bothering with that issue!

With this clarified, now let me enjoy my ship, it is MY AU.

It was these two's turn! I don't think I'll draw Ace's parents, since is just Ms Chalice, and if you read Spade's updated bio, you'll know what happened to King Dice.

Okay, I didn't know this shit had already been released either. If it weren't for the YouTube reviews, I'd never have known. Well, I don't know about you, but at least since this garbage was promoted with its trailer, I knew it wasn't going to work. Let's go in parts:

Animation & designs:

The visual section is not so bad, it fulfills the function of looking like rubberhose, however there is a colossal difference with the quality of Cuphead and Enchanted Portals. To begin with, unlike Cuphead, whose graphics are detailed, reaching an air of nostalgia for the essence of 1930s cartoons, this one seems somewhat insipid, as if the rubberhose was drawn by a fan and not by someone experienced. Although something I did like was in a level where you fight the witch, she momentarily changes to a style similar to Tim Burton. It was creative, but it doesn't save the poor quality. The game controls are similar to Cuphead, but you only have 3 types of shots that you have to choose from THE SETTINGS!! and not from the game menu.

History & Characters:

Just one word: EMPTY!!  Both the characters and "the plot" are EMPTY! There is no plot, it seems like you just fight the bosses, just for the sake of fighting. At least in CH there is a context and it tells you a story, including the DLC. But this seems like... it just happens and that's it. And the protagonists are so empty that they don't even have a name (or at least they don't say it). The bosses have no coherence or connection with the characters, they just exist and that's it. If there is no history, there is no coherence, there is no connection.... Although references are appreciated, it doesn't make up for anything.

Gameplay and Music:

Absolutely bad. Apparently there's a life bar, but you can't predict when it goes down. In cuphead, you have 3 hits, if you get hit 3 times, the level is over and you lost. Here you don't know when you lose. Then there're the enemies and bosses, it seems like you don't know what attack they'll launch or what they will do, and this is the music's fault. The sounds are HORRIBLE and generic. It seems that they saved budget when doing the sound mixing, since the enemies don't have gestures or sounds that indicate when the attacks are coming, unlike CH. It's as if: You're playing calmly and suddenly BOOM! stroke! You can't tell what or when it's going to attack you, and that will only cause you to lose, not because you caused it, it's because the game IS BADLY MADE!

IN SUMMARY: Enchanted Portals is simply a bad copy of Cuphead, which they also want to charge for the same price despite not being worth it. Save yourself 20 dollars, and don't buy this game
