Days of Productivity 16/100.

I have fallen a bit off the wagon with this challenge slightly. It's not like I haven't been productive, it's more like I'm doing a lot of the same things in the same places. Also, I am so bad at taking pictures of my day.

I'm currently just working on one course, and impulsively trying to teach myself Latin while I get myself back in the groove of studying before I back into university proper. I'm also working on some editing for a short story that I've started. My chronic pain in my hands makes it so difficult to type, so I need to take a lot of breaks. But we're getting through things slowly but surely.

11.16.2022~ Did some studying for AP Gov, since we got our MCQ test on Thursday. I’m supposed to take a bio quiz tmrw but I have to get my senior pics taken, so I’ll have to work around that. Friday is my bio test, and I have to remember to take in my spanish project to class on Thursday too, I left it in my car when I realized it would get ruined from all the rain.

The day before an exam! Honestly just studied all day until evening came and I had to switch into research paper mode because I have a research paper for my masters program due after the exam. But the day was surprisingly less stressful than I expected and I managed to almost finish a rough draft of my entire paper ☺️

my major is area studies (specifically east asian studies), but i take a lot of law/social justice-adjacent courses too

my academic interests lie strictly in the humanities – languages, literature, law, and social science research are big parts of my life

i’m hoping to get fluent in my target languages, so i’ll be documenting them here. i speak english and a chinese dialect, but i’ll be studying a mix of: mandarin chinese, korean, german, ukrainian, and french!

i like to do research, and am currently on track to be published in an academic journal by the end of undergrad!

i am also the type of person who loves reading but doesn’t actually read that much, so hopefully this helps me read again!

Hi all! I recently launched the fundraiser for my second short film, May Be Unholy.

This dramedy is about an atheist who's briefly convinced that witches (and divinity) are real, all because of a prank gone wrong.

I'm making May Be Unholy for many reasons. I'm largely inspired by my own relationship with divinity and how that has changed throughout my life, having been raised quite religious and then learning to redefine that relationship as I got older. Two, I absolutely love witch lore and am inspired to learn more about it, especially the historical and psychological parallels of "witch hysteria." Three, I just want to see more films where women and non-binary folks can be chaotic and fun and imperfect. I feel strongly about comedy and spectacle being a universal experience for everyone.

19072020 when everything goes wrong - pancakes Sunday is always there to save the day 🥞 how are you guys doing today? my weekend was extremely unproductive, but I haven’t felt this peaceful in forever. I feel like finally slowing down and getting in peace with my mind, which is something I’ve been struggling with for a loooong time. my sleeping schedule is getting better and better, my meditations are becoming more mindful and I feel like that first inhale when opening a window after a huge and gloomy storm.
