Shovin Week 2021 Day 7: Thinking about each other (pick by me)

Kevin’s POV:

It was your average day and also average to us too because what day can be any normal or not however it was normal to us. It was the day before a school day. I was dressed up like emoish to school cause why not and this is not the first time I was dressed like that. It is just my lookish because I wanna impress Shope wearing this at least i’ll wait for her reaction.

So yesterday, I planned on impressing Shope with the emo clothing I have set out. “Good morning Kevin” my mom said while she was making some breakfast for me. “Good morning mom,” I told her. “Kevin, why all black what happened” she said. “Oh nothing, just my style” I answered. “All black?” my mom said. “I wanted to” I said “What you don’t accept”. “I'll let you dress that you're comfortable with,” she said. “Thanks” I said. Anyways I ate my breakfast and then brushed my teeth. I headed out the door for school and entered the building and I already saw Shope with the boys. Tyler stopped me there in front of me.

“Kevin, why are you dressed like that?” Tyler said. “Just to impress” I nervously laughed and smiled and I looked down and I saw my arms and legs shaking meaning I was actually nervous and having a panic attack which I couldn’t stand up straight meaning I was about to fall down. “Impress who?” Tyler said and I was really nervous and about to fall into the ground. “You do not need to say,” he said again.”U-uh uh I-I-I rather na-not sa-sa-say” I said while shaking and feeling like a whole emotional roller coaster. “Are you ok, Kevin, because I can tell you're nervous” Tyler said confused as he saw me shaking. “Yes I am ok” I told him. “Are you sure?” Tyler answered. “Yes” I answered him back. “Ok” he said.

Shope’s POV:

I came and I can’t believe my eyes right now. I saw Kevin in black and his whole body was shaking, meaning that there was something wrong with him. I mean I did remember that hoodie before and black pants? He wore dark blue and the same gray shoes. Cross earrings? “The new Kevin?” I thought in my head or is he changing and turning emo because I can tell by the skull face sticker he had. He was shaking. I tried to save him from falling but It was too late. Everyone stared at him and everyone thought he had a heart attack but actually he really suffered from a panic attack. Moments later, he got up and thanked god he is still alive.

“Are you ok, Kevin?” I was really worried about him. He was breathing so fast “Yes I am ok just nervous and fell down” he said. “Thank god” I answered. I gave him a big hug and I gave him a hand to help him get up from the floor. Kevin had a drink of water to keep himself hydrated and healthy.

“Shope, may I impress you” Kevin said. “Sure,” I said. “You trust me if I wear all black, right?” he said. “Yes,” I said. “Guess what, I am someone so special that impresses you all a lot right” said Kevin. “Yes I really am grateful for that” I said. “Good” he said I wore this to impress you. “I am impressed already,” I said. “Really. Ha! Thanks” Kevin said. “You're welcome to anything for someone I love” I said to him because I know he is so special. “Shope, you're special too” Kevin said with a big smile.

He impresses me all the time so this is probably a lot of times he impressed me on the side note. Why is he so dreamy? I acted really lovely in my mind thinking of him nonstop. What was my life without him? Oh! I thought about it too!

Kevin’s POV:

My head is literally in the clouds! Shope is what I can think about. I was dreaming about her all along. I was laying my head down in class and I impressed her!

My life without her? What would it be? Nothing! Just me and Shope together impressing each other. I will marry her someday when we are older. We can have kids one day and give them a great future like how our parents gave us a future that is great. When I was a newborn baby, my mom loved me and hoped for a closer friend I could have and it worked!

The stitches on my hoodie is what is somehow special to Shope. I rip it for her and what! She loves it so much!

I just do not know how to stop loving her and it is never happening. I will love her forever. And she loves me back. Our love forever!

Shovin Week 2021

Day 2 - Injury

The noobs had just returned from a rather difficult battle. Everyone survived, obviously with some injuries.

In that case, mostly Kevin.

“Okay who’s tending to Kevin? It’s not me that’s for sure!” Zen said, angered.

“I’m tending to both Tyler and The Roach so I’m ou-“ Mem started before Shope rushed through the door >of course she returned late, don’t ask<

“…move it”

The boys >excluding Kevin< were out of the room in an instant.

“Kevin, why do you always sacrifice yourself for my sake?” She asked, as if he’s done this for the upteenth time.

“I guess it’s just an instinct.” He said before he winced when Shope pressed a little too hard on his wounds.

“Oh, sorry.” She apologized.

They both went silent as Shope gently tended to his wounds.

“Hey Shope?”

“Yeah?”

“Why…?”

“Because, you’re my best friend, and I care for you and the others! But mostly you of course.” She states with a blush, making Kevin blush harder.

“Well, thanks.” Kevin said “WHY AM I SO DAMN AWKWARD?!” he yelled on the inside.

A few awkward minutes later, Shope had finally finished tending to his wound, only to find him fast asleep.

“Classic Kevin, always falling asleep whenever he feels like it.” She laughed to herself before laying his head on her lap, running her fingers though his hair gently.

But there was something that she wanted to say….

Why cant you see I’m in love with you?

So yeah I have a hc for Kevin that he didn’t get much genuine love and attention from his parents so he’s often guilty if someone DOES help.

Shovin Day 5 Week 2021: Cosplay

Tyler’s POV:

Oh anyways today me and Roach had an idea for both Kevin and Shope and they agreed and cosplaying is what I can think about for now on because literally my brain just cannot give me any ideas.

So I was given money to go to a store to buy some cosplay costumes because we want to be the dressers for them. We were gonna actually pick it for them but Kevin and Shope have decided to pick on their own as long as they are comfortable with it and we were responsible to go by ourselves. It's easy to walk by ourselves.

Kevin’s POV:

We walked over to the clothing area to get out clothes to match what we will dress as. My cosplay costume is a catboy and Shope’s is a kawaii neko catgirl.

Anyways I felt that another hoodie I get is more for the one I want to dress as. Shope got the white crop top the Japanese schoolgirls wear as what I see as stock images, a blue skirt and I hope it was the right size for her and oh wait I just saw her seeing if the skirt fits. I had the cat ears and tail at home and Shope just had to buy the cosplay wig.

Shope’s POV:

I was happy with my cosplay stuff and I was excited and full of high hopes to dress myself up. Oh I had to go into the fitting room to dress myself up. I tried the costume and it was so successful and I liked it. The wig fit in perfectly and I liked my costume but just one problem, the skirt was tight but overall a nice costume.

I headed out wearing my regular clothing and we paid and I arrived home with Kevin and I just told my parents, he was just a friend.

He just got the other hoodie he had the cat ears and a tail. So we put on our costumes and realized how cool we looked in them. I styled the pink wig in ponytails to make it like those anime girls and surprisingly I had my cat ears which I got on my 8th birthday and it still fits and the tail was fine. I got it on my 10th birthday and it had a bell.

Now Kevin’s cat ears and tail were new and he had just got them about a week ago but the other hoodie he had was also newer.

We sure had so much fun cosplaying as cats and me as a kawaii neko school girl that gave me anime vibes and we had a picture together as we cheered on.

Seriously, these costumes are TOO cute when we wear them and we loved it so much that it made us want to buy new clothes.

Shovin Week 2021 Day 6: Back To School

*Flashback* hope’s POV:

It was exactly time for school, the first day actually starting fresh in a new grade, middle school actually (6th grade) and I am glad that I will see the boys (especially Kevin) and I was full of joy starting middle school because I was fresh out of elementary school and starting a new chapter in middle school then after 3 years of middle school comes high school and then college, why does time fly so fast.

Anyways I headed out the door walking to my new school, “Cornbury Middle School” and once I entered the school, a lot of different kids and everything was different but one thing that hasn't changed in my life was the boys wait yes I remember them I saw them in elementary school.

Kevin’s POV:

I gotta find a way to not let my parents know that Shope is my girlfriend because I don’t want them to know and they said I am not allowed to date until I am 16 so until I’m 16, it’s private. My locker was next to Shope’s which is crazy, right? Well maybe the school has decided that but nobody knows it and we won’t tell them because we are not really comfortable telling them somehow.

Ok so I walked over to Shope and I invited her for a private meeting sooner because all we had to do is be in school and focus since I had no time at all for a private talk or maybe it could be her choice. I tapped her on the shoulder for a moment. “Oh! Hey! Kevin” Shope answered as she got my attention. “Hey, so do you feel like talking in secret or not knowing?” I asked her. “Yeah,” She said. Well

If I needed breaks I would do it well talk with her because she is so nice to be around with and talk to. I bet you have friends that are fun to talk to.

We were in class, I was sad that my summer vacation came to a close and we had to go back to school. I bet like having a break and I was asked to have one and Shope could go with me.

Shope’s POV:

Well Kevin seems really disappointed that it’s not summer vacation anymore and I feel him and I get that.

He needed a break to help him feel better and he loves to hold his hand which is his favorite thing while he is with me all the time and he seems to have a love struck with me when I see him and he sees the angels in my eyes meaning that the future is looking bright for us.We have walked a block around our new school which seems like an interesting place as we can confirm it and we loved it inside and we would be here for the next 3 years and I bet high school would be cool too but as we grow up and go to new grades, we will get used to it as I tell the boys and they all agree we get used to it as we get older and grow up.

Anyways Kevin felt better and I told everything will be fine and he will get used to it. I told him that he had a hand to be held and I would hold his hand if I am sitting next to him and he happened to have Tyler to hold his hand and Roach too.

Sooner later: I looked at Kevin when he looked at me again deeply into my purple eyes behind the glasses. As soon, Kevin felt better and will get used to it as years will pass by when I told him it would be ok it will luckily. And our year in 6th grade sure will be a charm as I told him and he agrees.

Shovin Week 2021 Day 4: Weather

Kevin’s POV:

Ugh way too rainy out there I had plans with Shope outside but since the rain had taken over, I had to be inside and just spend the entire time bored.

Anyways she did text me and she was hoping that the rainy weather could just go because we had plans and the rain ruined it all. Now to be honest with you. The rain when I look at it, the rain makes me look like a whole depressed person who just goes through hard times.

Shope: I really want to go outside but it’s raining :(

Me: The rain makes me look depressed

Shope: I know how U feel 4 Real

Me: Really

Shope: Yes

Me: I understand

Shope: Me 2

Me: Yes

Shope: Maybe another time we can have a plan together

Me: Good idea :D

Shope: Glad U agree

Me: Thx

Shope: Ur welcome :)

Shope’s POV:

Despite rainy days, it can be kind of bad but most of all it is important because it is known for filling up rivers, lakes and pools and one thing I like about it is the rain sounds too.

Anyways, I had time to talk to Kevon on facetime. I just love seeing his face. In fact I see him everyday in my life.

“So Shope wanna see my drawing that I am working on,” Kevin said. “Sure,” I said. “Ok” he said when he took his phone and showed his drawing and I saw that he drew a little baby fox which he has not colored in yet but oh boy I was in love!

“You know what I’m coloring it in,” said Kevin. “You're so creative, Kevin,” I told him as Kevin took out his colored pencils. I watched him pick the colors and they were the shades of purple (which happens to be my favorite color because of my battle ball). Kevin picked out these colors because he knows me so well and maybe I can draw too and I can shades of red too because I know him so well.

Well It was still raining so together on the call, we could do anything for entertainment for ourselves.

Kevin’s POV:

During the rainy weather, I drew a little baby fox by coloring in purple and I happen to enjoy drawing too and sketching as well.

After I was done, I mostly talked to Shope and sighed at the same time for the rain which some say is sad because of the colors, gray which some also say is the color of sadness. But we did talk and was happy that she was there for me and I would always be there for her.

Shovin Week 2021 Day 3: Truth or Dare (fan fiction also on ao3)

Shope’s POV:

On quiet Saturday morning I was bored and didn’t have anything to do but lay down and be bored which was boring and yeah no one likes being bored (I know it is and everybody knows). Literally before boredom I was reading my folders of junk like paper work from elementary school in 3rd grade and that’s it.

I really love doing stuff with Kevin and I was hoping he wasn’t busy and he just plays video games like he always does. I mean there is nothing wrong with that. Tyler and The Roach weren’t on their phones which means they were sleeping honestly I don’t really know. Anyways I was bored until Kevin texted me and told me what we feel like doing and I told him what his ideas are because he may make bad ideas but he can think of good ideas though.

Kevin: Hey what do U really feel like doing Me: Honestly I do not know Kevin: O I have a good idea, wanna play truth or dare Me: Sure I ♡ this game Kevin: Ok

Kevin’s POV:

Me and Shope agreed on Truth or Dare, why? It’s our favorite game and I play it with friends all the time. Anyways, we have just started by texting.

Kevin’s POV:

So I was told by Shope’s parents and my parents that I would have a sleepover over at Shope’s house and when I found out I was really happy and it became the best day of my life.

So I would go there after at 5:30 PM and it was 8:02 AM so it was way too early to go there at 8AM so I have played some games on my phone

However Tyler and Roach did have plans during our day on our sleepover which was questionable to us because, Shope who had no plans on the Saturday and they were busy? and my parents and Shope’s parents happened to be friendly with each other along with Tyler’s mom and The Roach’s parents.

Ok I was praying that our sleepover will be better because last time we had one, we were in an AirBnB with two sleeping bags and we had my parents over and literally in two AirBnBs because it had one room which was a nightmare because we tried sleeping and guess what? Crickets! Crickets were making noises while sleeping and the floor had roaches! And my parents went back home and we had to sleep in the living room.

Shope’s POV:

I cleaned the house for Kevin and so far only one sleepover we had and our first one didn’t go so well because of crickets and cockroaches that made us disgusted. Our house is free. Like who in the heck puts the real cockroaches in our AirBnb room and we don’t know who put them in.

Now our sleepovers did well and some did not. Now let’s hope this one is good because I do want a single cricket or a cockroach inside.

5:05 PM:

So my parents did something special for Kevin when he arrives later between in the evening at 5:30 PM and what they did is that they got a extra comforter from the closet for him so he would sleep there and we agreed that we would sleep next to each other because of us getting closer now we won’t reveal that we are boyfriend and girlfriend to our parents until we are 16.

While I waited, I watched some cartoons on TV until Kevin would arrive in about minutes away and we had everything ready for him and the episode was 30 minutes and I was like 5 minutes into the episode and I layed down and I saved the snack so I could eat along with him and I got the chips and we both liked the regular flavored chips.

Kevin’s POV:

My mom walked me over to Shope’s house because due to the fact our house was a few minutes away from there and I carried my backpack over there and I came early as I expected and as soon I walked in and I smiled and said hi to her parents and Shope stopped the TV for a second and ran over to me and hugged me tightly and I had my backpack for all my items and Shope was so curious to know what was inside the bag.

I opened my backpack and I did show a couple of things inside and before I could take things out of my bag, I was given a snack. It was the same snack that she had.

So here were the things that were inside the bag:

Toothbrush

Toothpaste

Mouth wash

Floss

My own shampoo

My own shampoo

Extra clothes

Pajamas

Some video game stuff

My phone

AirPods

I had the first 4 because I wore braces and I did need to take good care of them in fact I had to do it everyday.

I sat down with Shope. We watched a cartoon she watched while I was walking to her house and she saved a snack for me and we watched it all together and we held hands.

Shope’s POV:

We put on our pajamas earlier than we thought we would wear them until we go to sleep but whatever. Kevin however had to brush his teeth and take care of his braces as he said because they needed to be in good shape and no food didn’t stick on there which is good.

He came out of the bathroom and he had some good video game stuff and we plugged it in and we played it together and we played a race car game with the wheels and it was the funniest game that he ever had. We acted like we were driving in a real car which is super fun and he beat me the first time and I beat him the second time and how many times that we played the rounds counts on if I use my fingers to count.

Later, I got my stuffies from upstairs and Kevin held one. That teddy bear is the stuffie he got since he was just a newborn baby and it was his first one even though he’s only 12 years old and he still loved it and we played with it with hours until we got sleepy and did some good things with our teddies and I had my stuffed animals since I was little and I still love them.

9:51 PM

When we got sleepy though it was too early, Kevin listened to some music until he got tired and I watched some videos too.

10:50 PM:

We fell asleep

The girl looked up and shyly took his hand.

“What’s your name?” The boy asked.

“Jennifer, but call me Shope if you will.” She softly answered

“Cool!! I’m Kevin!”

“Well uh, nice to meet you then, Kevin!”

Wanna come meet my friends?” They’ll love you!” He persuaded.

Her eyes widened with joy and he could already tell that they’re gonna be long, good friends.

Here are the basic participation guidelines for ShoVin Week 2021. This will be updated if we need to add more information. If you have a question that hasn't been answered here, please send us DMs on Instagram and Tumblr.

1. What is ShoVin Week?

ShoVin Week 2021 is an fan-organized event to celebrate the ship (Kevin Reynolds x Jennifer Shope) from Supernoobs in all shapes, ways, and forms! Because of this, we expect that Kevin and Shope and their relationship (romantic, friendship, comrades, or anything you like) to be the focus of the works you submit. While we will not stop the creative juices of anyone and everyone will be able to add their work to the hashtag(#shovinweek2021), we reserve the right to not share/reblog submissions that do not follow the guidelines or that are deemed to be controversial.

2. Is it exclusive to ShoVin? Can l add more ships?

It is okay to add other characters or ships as long as they don't take away the spotlight Kevin and Shope. We also strongly discourage any reference to a love triangle or as a comparison to another ship (for better or for worse) in order to prevent "ship wars" from starting. The only exception to this is fanfiction because it's a more forgiving medium that allows for more nuance than an ima or comic may have, as well being less prone to get virally shared in a way that could hurt creators. Poly ships in which Kevin and Shope are in a relationship with another person(s) but focus on Kevin and Shope are okay.

3. What types of works can be submitted?

All types of fan content will be accepted. This means fanart, fanfiction (in any language), edits, fancams, cosplay, crafts, and more. There are no standards for what can be submitted. That means you don't have to be a professional or experienced artist, all skill levels are accepted. There is also no expectations on what medium or how finished is a fanart or comic. Fully colored illustrations, sketches, drabbles, black-and-white, digital or traditional art, they are all valid and welcome. Note: If you do edits, video edits, fancams, etc. please do not use other people's fanarts unless they have given you written permission to use it.

4. How do I submit a work to ShoVin Week 2021?

dailyshovin will share or reblog your work if you use the appropriate tags, but only in Tumblr and Instagram, as those are the only social media we have so far. You will need to use at least one of these for us to see your submission to reblog/retweet it!

You can add any other tags that you wish after these. Please also make sure you add the corresponding tags if you use A03, or give enough warning in any other platform that does not have a tagging system such as fanfiction. net or Wattpad. In the case of fanart, please do not post the full image if it has any of these themes. Instead, use a thumbnail that is adequately censored and hide the full image under a read more (Tumblr) or use an external image hosting website (like Privatter, Poipiku, Postype, etc.) to link to. Remember that each of these services has its own rules regarding mature material, so make sure to follow them.

5. What happens if I don't follow the prompts or am late to a day? Late submissions are welcome! We will track the event tag up to one month after the event ends in case new works are added. The prompts are not meant to be followed to the letter and can be interpreted in any way you wish. You can combine two or more prompts if you want even if they're not from the same day. You can also completely ignore the prompts and make up your own! We only want to have more ShoVin content, so we will not be picky about it.
