anyway so clearly i was going through panels and as i was browsing the ones i have saved on my laptop (largely vol 3 because we all know i’m a vol 3 slut)

so i was reminded of how much i love tony stark’s moments of Intimately Private Angst 

because like. he doesn’t just sit and get sad. no. no the fave is too delightfully full of heart and emotions and ideals and high key poetic leanings to simply sit down and be sad oh no

oh no he will walk up to a window and draw a heart on it and THEN he will sit down in sadness

you drop him at the edge of his own nightmares and it’s the literal door to dante’s inferno

Unrelated and different contexts but I felt a little sad watching scenes from south korean actor Lee Sun-kyun's career during In Memorian on the same night as our RDJ's triumph.

Having them "together" in the ceremony is so symbolic of the two types of path that depend exclusively on SURVIVING the situation of dealing with public scrutiny and the impact of the media on the psyche of someone who has been associated with drug use.

It really made me think and left a bittersweet impression, even amidst the joy of Downey's victory.
