Consider: you are talking to a friend who is a cisgender man, and he says or does something which you think implies either gender dysphoria or a desired gender euphoria.

#I'm not a transwoman and no #I am trans tho #so i do think giving him knowledge of trans experiences is a good idea #but idk i feel like #like suggesting he might be a transwoman bc of one gender dysphoric/gender euphoric thing he says isn't fair to the full trans experience #or cis experience #he may be a transwoman n thats fine and theres nothing wrong with trying to help him figure it out #but i think suggesting- #i think you can suggest he could be trans but i feel like its weird to specify a transwoman? #which i feel the same way if the genders were all reversed #being trans and the trans experience is very wide #and keeping it within another layer of gender binary for trans people #isn't fair to those that are gender fluid or nonbinary or agender #all those go under the trans umbrella #and more that i don't even remember rn #the point is #its not wrong to suggest that he could be a transwoman #i just think it would be more fair to try and suggest he might be trans in any way #bc the gender experience is basically unlimited #anyways idk where i was going with this #just wanted to say and explain my vote
