Greetings in the matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Topic: The Confrontation Between Saul and the Lord Jesus : A Life-changing Encounter!
Rhema Word: Acts 9:5 (NKJV) “Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
Let’s pray. Our Gracious Loving Father, thank you for giving us an opportunity to meditate Your Word today along with your children who have been called to live a holy life Father. I commit everyone who are all meditating this message into your mighty hand Father. Bless them and give them the oneness of Spirit and make their heart as a good land to receive each and every Word which is living and active Lord. Thank You Holy Spirit for helping us to understand the in-depth treasure of Your Word and helping us to live a life as per Your Word Lord. We give all the Glory and Honour to You only Father. We pray in the mighty Name of Your beloved Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
Saul of Tarsus, the arch-persecutor of the Lord and His followers, was soon to become Paul, the great apostle to the world (Gentiles). Yes, from this point on in the Book of Acts, and in fact all the New Testament, Paul becomes the dominant servant of the Lord. From all indications, only the Lord Himself superseded the dedication of this man, a man who had been forgiven so much, even the slaughter of great numbers of God’s people.
The Bible says in Acts 9:1-2 “Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem.”
Yes, Paul himself narrated this in detail in Acts 26:9-11 “I too was convinced that I ought to do all that was possible to oppose the name of Jesus of Nazareth. And that is just what I did in Jerusalem. On the authority of the chief priests I put many of the Lord’s people in prison, and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them. Many a time I went from one synagogue to another to have them punished, and I tried to force them to blaspheme. I was so obsessed with persecuting them that I even hunted them down in foreign cities.”
Yes, Paul’s life and ministry hold so many lessons for the believers. Let us try to understand about Saul’s confrontation with the Lord, today with the help of Holy Spirit:
1] Paul – Persecution – A flaming fury against Christ and His disciples (Acts 9:1-2):
2] Light from heaven (Acts 9:3):
3] Paul – Conversion (Acts 9:4-6):
4] Spiritual Dullness – There were witnesses to the event (Acts 9:7):
5] Obedience (Acts 9:8-9):
1] Paul – Persecution – A flaming fury against Christ and His disciples (Acts 9:1-2):
The Bible says in Acts 9:1-2 “Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem.”
There was Saul’s former life; he was the arch-persecutor of the church. He burned with a flaming fury against Christ and His disciples. Two facts show this:
(i) Saul was consumed with a fierce anger and wrath against Christ and His disciples. He was “breathing out murderous threats”. The words “breathing out” in the Greek are really breathing in (inhaling). The picture is that of Saul “breathing in”, taking into his heart the evil of destroying Christ and His disciples. Of course, what is the heart is what comes out. Yes, Saul actually hunted down and slaughtered believers – many of them. “Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison” (Acts 8:3).
(ii) Saul was given over to a fierce objective, that of destroying all the followers of “the Way” of the Lord.
The believers of the early church were known as followers of “the Way”. Here, note that the teachings of the Lord were not pictured as a religion or a set of principles, or as rules and regulations, but as:
a) The Way of Salvation (Acts 16:17)
b) The Way of the Lord (Acts 18:25)
c) The Way of Peace (Luke 1 :79; Romans 3:17)
d) The Way of Truth (2 Peters 2:2)
e) The Way of Righteousness (2 Peters 2:21)
(a) Yes, he volunteered – actually went to the High Priest and the Sanhedrin requesting authority to storm after the fleeing believers – to arrest and bring the believers back to Jerusalem for trial (Acts 22:5; 26:10).
(b) Yes, he included women as well as men (Acts 8:3).
2] Light from heaven (Acts 9:3):
The Bible says in Acts 9:3 “As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.”
There was the light from heaven. Yes, it was while Saul was set on his murder of believers that he was stricken down by the light from the Lord. It was in the midst of his ferocious evil that he was saved. Yes, this shows us that there is a hope for all, for anyone of us. We can note four important points here:
(i) The light appeared suddenly, out of nowhere, unexpectedly.
(ii) The light was from heaven. It was supernatural and miraculous from God Himself. God is the source and given of the light.
(iii) The light was great, that is, brighter than the noonday sun (Acts 22:6; 26:13). Just imagine a light so bright it actually outshines the sun! When it burst forth, Saul saw the Lord Jesus standing in the midst of it (1 Corinthians 9:1; 15:8). The light radiated from the Lord Himself.
Yes, Jesus’ face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light (Matthew 17:2).
Yes, God is light ( 1 John 1:5)
Yes, God lives in unapproachable light (1 Timothy 6:16)
Yes, God who wraps Himself in light as with a garment (Psalm 104:3)
(iv) The light and sight of the heavenly figure struck Paul to the ground. “We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads’ (Acts 26:14).
Here, please note what Scripture proclaims to all heart. Light, the very presence of God Himself, is the first thing experienced in salvation.
Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 4:6 “For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
God has to shine in a man’s heart for a man to be saved; he has to give the knowledge of the glory of God in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Lord of heaven, the Son of God Himself, God’s very own glory dwells in Jesus Christ. Therefore, for a man to know God’s glory, he must know the face of Jesus Christ. He must receive light, the knowledge, the understanding, the awareness, the consciousness, the quickening that Jesus is the Saviour, the Son of God Himself.
The Bible says in John 1:4 “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.”
The Bible says in John 8:12 “Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
Apostle Paul says in Ephesians 5:13-14 “But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”
Prophet Isaiah says in Isaiah 9:2 “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.”
3] Paul – Conversion (Acts 9:4-6):
The Bible says in Acts 9:4-6 “Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
There was the confrontation with the Lord. He heard a voice speaking to him. Just note, Saul alone heard this voice. The others heard a sound, but could not distinguish the words (Acts 9:7). Yes, the message was a personal message to Saul alone.
We can learn the following THREE important truths from this great encounter of Saul with Lord Jesus Christ:
Truth 01: There was the charge of terrible sin, of opposing and persecuting the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus called Saul by his name, “Saul, Saul”. Calling the name twice shows two things:
(a) It shows tenderness, love and concern, an appeal to listen and heed.
(b) It shows rebuke and warning. Saul was treading on dangerous ground. He was close to the brink, about to fall over the edge of no recovery. Opposing Christ is serious, so serious it dooms a person to hell unless there is repentance. Here, just note how Christ identifies with the believer. Remember, Jesus said in Matthew 25:40 “And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
Truth 02: There was the request to know the Lord. Saul knew that the light and the person seen in the midst of the light and the voice had all come from heaven. He knew that he was been confronted by a heavenly being. But who was the heavenly being? Saul – stricken down, humbled, convicted, frightened – cried out in desperation, “Who are you, Lord?” Yes, he knew that it was the Lord, the heavenly being and it was the Lord he was supposed to know. This he confessed.
But he did not know Him. He cried out, “Who are you, Lord? Tell me. Identify yourself. Let me know You.” Yes, the learning here is: a person often knows and confesses that it is the Lord who is dealing with him; yet he does not know the Lord, not really, not personally. He has to cry out, “Who are you, Lord? Tell me, show me who You are!”
Truth 03: The shattering truth is a real eye-opener to every person who opposes Jesus or God.
Jesus is the Lord, the One whom the sinner is opposing. This truth shattered Saul, broke him in utter submission.
Why? Because it meant..
That every stone thrown at Stephen was a stone thrown against God Himself (Acts 7:59-60).
That every home he had stormed into was a home that truly worshipped God (Acts 8:3).
That every person he had forcibly dragged through the streets to jail was a true follower of God (Acts 8:3)
That every woman he had abused was a child of God (Acts 8:3; 9:2; 22:4).
That everyone he had chained and imprisoned was a true servant of God (Acts 8:3; 22:4; 26:10)
That every synagogue he had stormed was the true house of God (Acts 26:11).
That every believer he had tracked down and persecuted was a true believer (Acts 22:5; 26:11).
That every person whom he had killed (murdered, Acts 9:1), was a charge of murder against him (Acts 26:10; 22:4).
That he was lost, truly lost, separated from God and doomed to hell.
That his life was a total wreck, being totally deceived and misdirected, bent on utter destruction.
That he stood no chance of escaping the guilt of his sin and the doom of hell apart from the greatest act of mercy ever shown by God (1 Timothy 1:16).
The lesson what we can learn from this is: When a person really sees that he has been rebelling against God Himself, the Saviour of the universe, he is shattered, utterly shattered. He realizes just what Paul did..
That he has been opposing God Himself.
That his sin has been against God Himself.
That he is lost, truly lost, separated from God and doomed to hell.
That his life is a total wreck, being totally deceived and misdirected, bent on utter destruction.
That he stands no chance of escaping the guilt of his sin and the doom of hell apart from the greatest act of mercy ever shown by God.
Apostle Paul says in Romans 2:3 “And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?”
The author of Hebrews says in Hebrews 2:3 “How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him.”
He further says in Hebrews 12:25 “See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven.”
Prophet says in Jeremiah 11:11 “Therefore thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them.”
Prophet Amos says in Amos 9:2 “Though they dig into hell, from there My hand shall take them; Though they climb up to heaven, from there I will bring them down.”
The Bible says that the Lord commanded Paul “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do”( Acts 9:6 ).
Note that God did not answer Saul, not right then. Yes, Saul could not bear it. He was a shattered man. He needed time for prayer and meditation, for straightening out his mind and for assurance from the Spirit of God now dwelling within him.
Yes, Saul needed the maturing witness and contact and companionship of another believer. It was going to take the testimony of a mature believer that Saul had been converted and undergone a radical change for the Christian community to accept him.
Apostle John says in 1 John 2:23 “Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.” He further says in 1 John 4:15 “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.”
Jesus also said this in Matthew 10:32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.”
4] Spiritual Dullness – There were witnesses to the event (Acts 9:7):
The Bible says in Acts 9:7 “And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one.”
Yes, there were witnesses to the event. But note they were not privileged to know what was really happening. They were a type of the worldly who saw the miracle of conversion, of God’s marvellous grace, yet they never opened their own minds and hearts to see the light of the Lord, to hear the voice of God, to confront the Lord and to call upon the Lord, surrendering to obey Him.
The Bible says in John 8:42-43 “Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.”
Apostle Paul says in Romans 3:11 “There is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God.”
While doing his ministry in Rome, Paul referred what the Holy Spirit told through the prophet Isaiah to their fathers, in Acts 28:27 “For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.”
While writing to Ephesians, Paul said in Ephesians 4:17-19 “This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”
Apostle Paul further said in 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”
5] Obedience (Acts 9:8-9):
The Bible says in Acts 9:8-9 “Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.”
Saul did just what the Lord told him; he arose and went into the city. Here, just note several facts:
(i) His eyes had been closed during the whole traumatic experience.
(ii) His eyes were now blinded for three days. Yes, he was helpless and had to be completely led about by others.
(iii) His mind would now be shut up in the world of thought alone.
(iv) He would be left alone :
a) to continue praying over his terrible shame;
b) to learn and know beyond question that the Lord had confronted him. Remember, he had three days for the experience to sink in.
c) to think through the confrontation with the Lord.
d) to wonder what changes there would be in his life now.
e) to switch his mind and his thought patterns, his purpose in life from the past life of religion to the present life with Christ.
f) to wonder why Jesus was choosing him, the one who had so fiercely opposed the Lord.
g) to wonder what Jesus wanted with him and what Jesus was going to tell him to do.
Please note Paul was unable to eat or drink for three days. The trauma drained all his strength, completely exhausted him.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”
Jesus said in John 7:17 “If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority.” He further said in John 14:23 “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
Psalmist David says in Psalm 32:4 “For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer.”
Psalmist says in Psalm 42:5-6 “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance. O my God, my soul is cast down within me; Therefore, I will remember You from the land of the Jordan, and from the heights of Hermon, from the Hill Mizar.”
Psalmist pleads in Psalm 119:28 “My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according to Your word.”
Let us introspect ourselves.
Shall we strive our best to receive light, the knowledge, the understanding, the awareness, the consciousness that Jesus is the Saviour, the Son of God Himself?
Shall we try to understand our Lord’s tenderness, love and concern for us?
Shall we try to listen and heed to the appeal from our Lord?
Shall we have the consciousness that opposing Christ is so serious that it dooms us to hell unless there is repentance?
Shall we have the consciousness that opposing a believer is opposing Christ Himself as Christ identifies with the believers?
Shall we have the consciousness that Jesus is the Lord, the One whom we are opposing if our hearts are hardened?
Shall we have the consciousness that our sinful life is rebellion against God Himself and it is being doomed to hell?
Shall we wait on the Lord in prayer and meditation for straightening out our minds and getting the assurance from the Holy Spirit dwelling in within us?
Shall we open our minds and hearts to see the light of the Lord, to hear the voice of the Lord, to confront the Lord and to call upon the Lord, surrendering fully to OBEY HIM?
Let us Pray: Our Heavenly Gracious Father, we thank You for helping us to understand about “The Confrontation Between Saul and the Lord: A Life-changing Encounter!” today Father. Father, please help us to strive our best to receive Your light, the knowledge, the understanding, the awareness, the consciousness that Your beloved Son Jesus Christ is the Saviour besides understanding our Lord’s tenderness, love and concern for us Father. Father, please help us to listen and heed to the appeal from our Lord, to have the consciousness that opposing Christ is so serious that it dooms us to hell unless there is repentance, to have the consciousness that opposing a believer is opposing Your beloved Son Jesus Christ Himself as Christ identifies with the believers, to have the consciousness that Jesus is the Lord, the One whom we are opposing if our hearts are hardened, to have the consciousness that our sinful life is rebellion against God Himself, to wait on the Lord in prayer and meditation for straightening out our minds and getting the assurance from the Holy Spirit dwelling in within us, to open our minds and hearts to see the light of the Lord, to hear the voice of the Lord, to confront the Lord and to call upon the Lord, surrendering fully to OBEY YOU Father. We give all praise, glory and honour to Your Holy Name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
God bless you all.

TOPIC : " NOTHING GIVES GOD GLORY THAN WHEN YOU GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS"
DATE : 21st May, 2021.
Let's pray, Father in heaven, You are the most High. You are Alpha and Omega this day let your word transfer us and change our lives in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.
3 things God wants from us.
1. Faith, we have to believe God is and He rewards those who seek Him
2. God wants love, Jesus said the greatest commandments of all is love the Lord your God with all your heart , soul and our mind.
3 Obedience, Jesus said if you love ME you will keep mine commandments
When you give God your Faith, and you give God your love and you give God your obedience, you will naturally give God the last thing God wants from all of us and that is GLORY.
Why did Jesus come to planet earth?
He came to die for our sins on the cross, He died so he can save us from sins so we can have a relationship with God the Father , you have heard that a million times, question. But why did he do that?
He tells us in His word,
John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
This is a revelation, Jesus didn't come primarily for us, He came primarily for the Father, yes He did bring Salvation to us but ultimately His number 1 motivation is when He left heaven to earth and to die was not to save us but His number 1 motivation was to bring Glory to His Father
The same reason that brought Jesus to earth is the same reason why we are on earth and that is to glorify Him.
Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus, that he saw his purpose on this earth and he gave his Faith, love and then he gave His obedience. He wrote a letter to a church called Corinth, in that letter he made an incredible statement and what we really need to know about this last thing God wants us to give Him.
1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
If everything you do is to the glory of God then everything you do is not about you, your life is about God and His glory. In other words nothing is about you, it is all about God. So Paul said whether you're eating or drinking whatsoever should be to the glory of God.
How do you glorify God in everything you do?
1. We should recognize God's glory.
God and His throne are inseparable, His nature is glorious that is His intuition. For example, you don't have to make a water wet, it is wet. You don't have to wake-up and paint the sky blue, it is already blue. You can't give God glory because He's already glorious.
Our job is to recognize God, if there wasn't the world or universe , let's imagine there's no angels and nothing on this world, God will still be God of glory. God will still have glory. Therefore, we can not add anything to His glory and we can not subtract anything from His glory. However, there was a king by the name of David, who knew what it was to give glory to the king of Kings and David said
Psalms 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
How do you give God glory?
By recognizing He is God Almighty, worshipping Him, praising Him and exalting Him, singing to Him , giving to Him and testifying to Him. When we sing we glorify God.
2. We should reflect God's glory.
1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
What Paul is saying is ,even if you're eating a simple food it should reflect the glory of God, if I minister the message for any other reason and it doesn't glorify God then it's better I don't minister at all, the average person breathes 25,000 a day, when I breath in and out I want to give God the glory.
If you are going to do something you have ask yourself.
1. Does this glorify God?
2. How can I make this glorify God?
Earlier in the letter this is what Paul said
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Why should do we give God always the?
Because He created us, Paul said we were made for Him, the job of the moon is to reflect the glory of the sun, the reason why we are on earth is to reflect the glory of God through Jesus Christ.
3. We should receive God's glory?
This is how Jesus puts it
John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Jesus was talking to everyone that would be His disciple that He will give them the glory the Father has given to Him, Jesus said if you become my disciple, you'll receive the glory that I have before. In other to receive the glory of God you have to be His disciple.
How do you become His disciple?
By believing in Him and loving Him and obeying Him. You receive God's glory when you receive God's Son, and you cannot begin to give God glory until you give your life to His Son Jesus Christ.
Paul made this statement to another church in Phillipi.
Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Paul says there will come a time everyone will come and bow and confess Jesus as our Lord, why?
To the glory of God the Father.
You cannot give glory to the God who made you until you give glory to the Son who came to die for you, in other words, nothing give God more glory until give your life to Jesus because when you give your life to the Son of God , the Son of God gives you His glory and that's why you were put on this planet.
You were put on earth to glorify God and the first step is to give your life to the Son of God that God sent for you. There are only 2 groups that refuse to give God the glory, the rebellious people and the rebellious angels, that's why in eternity they will be separated from the God of glory. If you give glory to God in this life, you won't have a problem giving God glory in the next life.
Every day can be your best day of your life, now you say how can I make the best day for my life?
When you get out of your bed, begin your day with
I BELIEVE IN YOU COMPLETELY.
I WILL LOVE YOU SUPREMELY
I WILL OBEY YOU TOTALLY
I WILL GIVE YOU GLORY CONTINOUSLY.
When you do these things every day God will give you the opportunity to do that everyday , He will give you the chance to believe Him, He will give you the chance to love Him, He will give you the chance to obey Him and He will give you the chance to glorify Him.
Thank you Peace and Shalom

TOPIC : " OBEY THE WORD"
DATE : 21st May, 2021.
Let's pray, Father in heaven, You are the most High. You are Alpha and Omega this day let your word transfer us and change our lives in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.
There are FOUR specific things God wants from everybody, it's not money, the very first thing God wants from us is FAITH. When you meet God the first time, He will tell you to believe Him.
You can't please God if you don't believe in God, if you please God and you don't believe in God you can't please Him, so the first step in having a relationship with God is just putting your FAITH in Him.
The SECOND thing God wants from us LOVE. When you come to God the first time you believe Him and then you have to Love Him, Jesus said the greatest commandments of all commandments in the Bible is to Love the Lord with all your heart and all of your soul and all of your mind and to love others as you love yourself. The Bible says God is love , God loves us first, God loves us the most and all God wants us to do is to love Him back.
Today we are going to talk about OBEY THE WORD.
JESUS is talking to His disciples and He was talking about Love, He said something to His disciples that they never thought about it.
TO BELIEVE GOD IS TO KNOW GOD. TO KNOW GOD IS TO LOVE HIM. TO LOVE GOD IS TO OBEY GOD.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Up until now , JESUS has declared His love for His disciples, He spent 3 years demonstrating His love for them. He washed their dirty feet, He healed their relatives, He protected them from danger, He taught them the truth that they have never heard before. Now He is about to show them more love by going to the cross and dying for their sins.
Now JESUS has shown all the love to them , JESUS tells them to show the love they have for him, talk is cheap, JESUS says if you love me, obey me.
From the time you were/are born till the time you'll leave this earth Obedience is not easy, but JESUS tells us that the "true experience with God will always lead to the Obedience of God".
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
We are going to use the sentence and see how love and Obedience go together. The number one.
1.WE PROCLAIM OUR LOVE BY OBEYING.
Let's take the first four words, Jesus said "If you love me" . Now how many of you remember what is a conditional sentence?
Let me remind you, a conditional sentence in English is, a sentence which has a if then preposition. So if one thing is really true then the other thing will also be true.
So what Jesus is saying to His disciples is "Guys you say you love Me , okay if you say you love Me, then the following will be true. Let's be practical, there's one sure way that will let people think or suggest to them that you love them, one sure way is to tell them. When we worship and praise God, we proclaim our love for God , that's why it's important to go to church and celebrate God together. When I wake-up from bed that's the first thing I do, praise and worship God because praise and worship is verbally telling God you love Him. Praise and worship is commandment, God didn't say it's an option why? Because when you obey God by praising and worshipping God you're proclaiming your love for Him.
2. WE PROVE OUR LOVE BY OBEYING.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep...
I thought the verb 'keep' was an imparative , the verb 'keep' in the Greek language is in the future tense so what Jesus said literally is, He made a prediction or prophecy "IF YOU LOVE ME YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS ". Jesus makes us to understand that there's an unbreakable relationship between love and obedience , they're joined together, there are two things that you can't separate, you can't separate love and obedience.
LOVE IS THE MOTIVE FOR OBEDIENCE AND OBEDIENCE IS THE MEASURE OF LOVE.
God wants you to love Him before you obey Him, God wants you to obey Him because you love Him. God wants you to give not because He will give it back to you but because you love Him. God wants you to serve not because He will reward you ,He wants you to serve because you love Him. God wants you to open your bible, pray and spend time with Him not so He will do something good for you because you love Him.
The first motivation of things that make we love is FEAR, when you do something out of fear, here is what you are saying. I have to do this, I don't have a choice, if I don't do this something bad is going to happen. Fear is a motivator.
The second level of motivator is DUTY, love says I have to do this , if I don't do it something bad is going to happen, DUTY says I ought to do this if I don't do this somebody is going to be disappointed in me .
The third level is LOVE, because Fear says I have to do this, Duty says I ought to do this, Love says I want to do this, I gladly and joyfully want to do this.
3. WE PRACTICE OUR LOVE BY OBEYING.
"If you love me keep my commandments " .
Jesus gives us the benefits of obeying Him.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Jesus said , if you really want to experience and see me, just obey Me. I want to ask. IS JESUS REAL TO YOU? Well you say I can't see Jesus or hear Him talk but I can see or hear my neighbor.
If you are really honest, you'll say not so much or not really. Let me tell you why.
YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH JESUS WILL BE PROPORTIONAL TO YOUR OBEDIENCE WITH JESUS. JESUS says if you love me I will show myself to you like you never know me . Someone will ask, where are His commandments found? His commandments are found in the BIBLE, if you want to understand the parts of the Bible , you don't understand the way to do that is by obeying the part you understand.
Peace Shalom

TOPIC : " TODAY SALVATION HAS COME TO YOUR HOUSE"
DATE : 14th May, 2021.
Let's pray, Father in heaven, You are the most High. You are Alpha and Omega this day let your word transfer us and change our lives in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.
This is a simple little story we have read since childhood.
Luke 19:1-10 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.
And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
This is one of the keys verses in all the new testaments, that 10 verse, because it gives you the purpose of the coming of Jesus Christ, Jesus is come to seek and to save that which is lost. Here is this man, Jesus walking through Jericho on His way to die on the cross and as He comes to Jericho , he says blind Bartimeus on the way and He heals him. Bartimeus asked who is this man passing by , someone stops and tells him Jesus of Nazareth passing by and he screamed Son of David, have mercy on me.
If he hadn't cried out loud that moment , he would have never been healed. Jesus passed by one time. As Jesus was going out of Jericho, there was another man that wanted to see Jesus and his name was Zacchaeus, and he meets Jesus, Zacchaeus was the most hated man in Galilee and he was the richest man in town, he was a publican, a tax collecter. He was a Jewish but he would collect all the taxes for Rome, the occupying country and then he would try and get more of the taxes and pay some to Rome and fill his pockets , that's how most tax collectors were those days and became the richest people in town and most despised people in town.
If Jesus had considered public opinion, he would have looked straight into eyes when He came to the sycamore tree where Zacchaeus had climbed. Now Zacchaeus was a lonely man , he didn't have friends and he was a bitter man, some of us we have been lonely for some time and bitter about a situation or a problem one way or another, Zacchaeus was the most hatred yet he had a curiosity , he probably heard about Jesus many times , maybe Jesus enemies saying He was an imposter or a blasphemous or his followers saying He was a good teacher or a healer, but Zacchaeus wanted to see Jesus for himself.
Zacchaeus was a very short man and he was trying to get through the crowd and some of the people trying to push him away, this man was so anxious to see Jesus, that he decided to climb up a tree. Now there are many obstacles in getting to Jesus, he faced the obstacles of so many people there, so small in stature , you too might have your obstacles , Jesus says what shall a man gain if he gets the whole world and loses his soul. All the bible you'll find chooses made between the choices of the world and things of God.
Moses had to made that choice, he had to make the choice of all the wealth in Egypt and all the power of Egypt and he had to turn his back on it and follow Christ.
Abraham had to turn his back on all he has ever known to go find where God provided for him by faith and then sin has become obstacles for you to come to Christ , the scripture says cleanse thou me from secret faults. You see man look at the outward appearances but the Lord looks at the heart, He knows what goes on inside the heart.
He knows what you're thinking, what you're fantasizing, He knows the things you're hustling for, He knows the evil thoughts, the pride and the jealousy in your heart and He judges on what He sees on the inside and not just what He sees on the outside. We all claim to be going to church or Christians but deep in our hearts it's dark, the worst sinners in town and you know you're hypocrite and you're ashamed of it and you want to do something about it and you want to have peace in your heart , now is the time to make your commitment to Christ.
Tonight, say Lord forgive me, I want to come back to you, I want to know you, I want to know the joy of Christ and some how I have lost that joy, and I want it back. There's a generation that have not been washed from their filthiness, self righteous like the hypocrites of Jesus .
Now Zacchaeus is sitting up there, he found his way to the sycamore tree and so Jesus calls Zacchaeus come down, the crowds murmurs , Jesus tears the heart of religious leaders but he treated sinners with tender and love. When you come to Christ you must be willing to open your heart and receive Him. And notice, it was an urgent call, He said make haste and come down now, now is the accepted time, now is the day of Salvation, there's no promise tomorrow. It's today, Now. And it was a successful call, Jesus did go to Zacchaeus home , he was proud Jesus came to his house and he showed Jesus all that he had but Jesus was looking at Zacchaeus and he wondered why is Jesus looking at me like that, the piercing eyes reaching into my soul.
Jesus turned and looked through the window and saw broken humanity , those who were suffering, those who were poor and didn't have anything, who Zacchaeus had stolen from and cheated on.
Zacchaeus conscious began to border him and convicted of his sins and suddenly he opened the door and yelled at the top of his voice , Lord Jesus , I am ready, if I have stolen from anyone I am ready to restore it four folds , I will give back everything I have ever taken from anybody. I JUST WANT TO KNOW YOU JESUS.
That is restitution, he did it with a new joy in his heart , the bible says there are two joys in the bible, when a person comes to Jesus Christ.
Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
When you come to Christ you may be the only one but there's joy in heaven because of you. Then there's joy inside your heart when you comes to Jesus.
John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
Notice, it was an open confession, Zacchaeus stood on the doorway and made those confessions in front of the people.
Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Everybody that Jesus called in the new testament it was opened, it was public , wouldn't it be terrible for Jesus to say He doesn't know us.
He said many people would say , Lord I did this for You, Lord I did that for You. But He said I never knew you. Come to Christ openly.
His REPENTANCE cost him something to the surprise of the crowd, the purpose of Jesus coming to the world is to save people like Zacchaeus and us because our soul is more important than all the things in the world. You say how could that be, because the soul is going to be eternal, the soul is going to live forever and ever ,when you die that's not the end of the world.
Your body dies but your spirit the real you lives forever in Heaven or Hell and it depends on what you do with Christ NOW. Jesus calls you by name, He knows you ,you say well Osei, what really should I have to do.
1st, you have to be willing to REPENT of your sin, you say what does it mean, that means to change your way of living, the way of thinking about God, about Christ and about yourself, it means to live a new kind of a life. It means you're willing to give up some of the wrong things in your life and walk with Jesus, that's REPENTANCE.
Jesus said , unless a man repent he cannot see the kingdom of God. Have you repented? I am not talking about "did you say oh Lord I'm sorry "that's not REPENTANCE, Repentance means a CHANCE , old things have passed away and all things have become new.
2nd, you must receive Him by Faith, "For all that receive Him for them He gave them power to become the Sons of God even to them that believe on His name, just a simple FAITH, like a little child believes on His mother or father you believe, Jesus said you have to become like a child in Faith, in believing. Faith is putting your confidence in Jesus.
3rd, you must follow Jesus, in reading the scripture and in prayer and in witnessing . Are you ready to do that?

TOPIC : " BELIEVING IN THE REAL GOD "
DATE : 7th May, 2021.
Let's pray, Father in heaven, You are the most High. You are Alpha and Omega this day let your word transfer us and change our lives in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.
If you don't give what I'm about to share today to God , you will not give Him anything else. It all starts with FAITH. This is the first relationship with God , God wants your FAITH , how did I get that idea? I got it from the Bible that was written in a book about 2000 years ago in a book called Hebrews.
Before we open the bible, I want to tell you one thing about God, " Nobody will change your life like God , but even God will not completely change your life until you place your faith in Him"
The road to the relationship with God is paid with the cement of FAITH, if you go to the early days of Christianity they didn't call themselves Christians, Christians was the name the outside world gave them, they called themselves BELIEVERS, so today we are going to talk about BELIEVERS , there are kinds of definitions for Faith but here's my definition of Faith.
Faith is climbing on a limb, cutting it off and watching the tree fall down
Doubt is putting your circumstances between you and God , Faith is putting God between you and your circumstances
Faith is eliminating every fear you have except the fear of God
Faith is taking the first step before God reveals the second step.
Before you define Faith, here's the truth about everybody on the planet , everybody has faith , we demonstrate it and we display it everyday of our lives, you're here or reading my post because of FAITH.
You have a car that you believe it will start when you on it , however what makes Faith such a big deal is not Faith, what makes Faith big is what you put your Faith in. The quality of your faith is what you place your faith in. The only road that leads to God is FAITH. The foundation of our relationship is Faith . The only thing God wants from us is not money, it's not even our time or treasure, God says the first thing I want from you is simply Faith . The question is why?
1. BY FAITH WE PERCEIVE GOD.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
This is the way the author of the book of the Hebrews explains it, the are 2 KEY words I want you to notice SUBSTANCE and EVIDENCE.
What the author is telling us is that Faith has a foundation and it is based on substance. Faith is when you are standing on something and you got strong believe that it is true. If you believe something but you got no reason to believe it that is not faith , that is presumption, we are not talking about presumption, we are talking about something because we believe in it.
Faith is not believing in something in spite of what you think is true, it is believing something because you have reason to believe it is true.
EVIDENCE. Faith is the proof of things we can't see the legality of things we can't see.
Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
I want to ask a rhetorical question, has anybody ever seen electricity? Even though you haven't seen electricity before my advice to you is don't stick your hand in a socket, have you seen gravity before? My advice to you is not to jump off the empire state building without a parachute.
We all believe things everyday we don't see, the author of Hebrews says , Faith is the the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen that's why the first thing God wants from us is Faith .
2. BY FAITH WE PLEASE GOD.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him:
God says if you don't believe in Me and put your faith in Me, you'll not please Me. That means it doesn't matter how much money you give to the poor , it doesn't matter how many times you attend church , it doesn't matter how many good works you do for people ,if you don't believe God and In God you'll never please God.
I believe the number 1 purpose in life is to please God, if you live a life and you want to do anything in that life and everything in life except pleasing God , what did your life really matter. If there's a God and He is supreme and you please Him, it doesn't matter who you displease, if you displease God it doesn't matter who you please.
What is the first step in pleasing God?
Hebrews 11:6... for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
In other words, God says You want to have a relationship with Me.
Step 1, you have to believe I am here, you have to believe I am real ,you have to believe in God even though you can see Him.
You have to believe God speaks even though you can't hear Him. You have to believe God is with you even though you can't feel Him, some people will say it's hard, there's a popular saying "seeing is believing " but we the believers say "believing is seeing " you see what you are looking for, you put Faith in what you expect to find.
Someone will ask if God exist, why can't we find Him or See Him or Hear Him?
Some people say I can only believe in what I can see, touch and hear the only problem is that's not just true, the atheist can believe there was an explosion and the earth was formed and the mountains and oceans came, you can believe that but the evidence is clear.
3. BY FAITH WE PURSUE GOD.
We have already learned without faith we can't please God , it is not only impossible to please God without faith, you can't even please yourself without faith, have you ever considered that ever problem you have ever had is when you don't please God , when a believer quit believing in the grace of God , you'll feel guilty ,when you quit believing in the goodness of God you'll start worrying , when you quit believing in the guidance of God you'll start making decisions on your own and you will get out of God's will and mess up your life.
Remember the quality of faith you have is totally dependent upon the object you place your faith, you can place your faith on a water fit to drink but it might be poisoned , you can place your faith on the brakes works but they might fail but when you put your faith God , you put your faith in a God who cannot LIE. You put your faith in a God cannot FAIL, you put your faith in a God who can never CHANGE ,you put your faith in a God who never makes mistakes.
Here is how you'll know you have faith in the real God, when you make your mind to say I am going to pursue this God , I'm going to find this God , I'm going to prioritized this God believing if I do I will find this God. The author of Hebrews continues.
Hebrews 11:6 and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
We used to have this idea that God only rewards us when we do good things for Him, if I do good or I serve someone God does something good for me. Here is what God says, forget that, my greatest reward is when you pursue Me, when you come after me, when you lay the world aside and you put your phone, ipad and turned the TV off and you just spend time with Me and focus on Me that's what pleases Me.
That's what your greatest reward is when you pursue Me, if you come after Me believe Me.
Now you understand the first thing God wants from us is Faith, if you haven't met or heard about God and you bump into God the first 2 words He will tell you is "BELIEVE ME" and here is why, you can't please God without faith and you can't believe God without Faith and you can't be saved without knowing God.
Conclusion, here's my question and it is a hard question.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO START BELIEVING IN GOD FOR RIGHT NOW BUT YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD RIGHT NOW.
Family, financial, marriage , future, children
There's a God in heaven, I believe sometimes with tears in His eyes , will say WOULD YOU JUST BELIEVE ME,I DON'T LIE , JUST BELIEVE ME , your source shouldn't be US, stock exchange etc let your source be ME , if I can take you to heaven don't you think I can take care of you on earth. WOULD YOU JUST BELIEVE.

TOPIC : "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD"
DATE : 26th,MARCH 2020.
Let's pray, Father in heaven, You are the most High. You are Alpha and Omega this day let your word transfer us and change our lives in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.
We are going to talk about 2 people, an old man and a young woman. Both of them are going to remind us that God shows up on time and that God always keeps His promise and that God knows what He's doing.
JUST WAIT, GOD IS NEVER LATE
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE IN THE WAITING ROOM OF LIFE?
1.Keep waiting- God is moving.
Luke 1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
If you are reading this text 2000 years ago, your heart would have been crushed because Herod wasn't a nice man, like in the days of Adolf Hitler , he was a very bad man. He was a Roman king that has been installed by Caesar over all of Israel , all of Israel was under the rule of the Roman empire , they were literally crushed by the Roman empire. The whole landscape was depressing for the Jewish people. The irony of the whole matter is God had been silence for 400 years and there have been no words from the prophets of God.
For 400 years there have been no miracles from the hands of God . For 400 years even Angels weren't showing up and then Luke introduces us to Zacharias and Elizabeth , they were awesome couples, as a matter of fact this is what Luke writes about them
Luke 1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
Like Zacharias and Elizabeth, they believed in God's promises, hoping God wasn't finished with them and God will send the Messiah and they were believing God for Israel and there was another story, because we read the next verse Luke 1:7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.
According to the cultural standard which they were judged by their friends and neighbors they had no child. Back in 1st century Israel, if a woman did not have a child , there was a certain believe that, the woman had done something wrong and that woman had done something wrong against God and God had closed her womb , so it doesn't matter how righteous she might look outside ,people will whisper behind her and say " I wonder what she has done and God is mad at her". Luke says they had no child because Elizabeth was barren.
Here is two people who are devoted and outside they are happily doing the Lord's work but inwardly they're depressed, defeated and even though they're believing God for the Messiah, they are not believing God for their own baby. Zacharias was doing his duty as a priest and here's what happened next
Luke 1:11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
"And there " , let's look at the significance of that word, Heaven has been shut for over 400 years as far as the Jewish are concerned. For over 400 years God shows up to the least likely person and the least likely place and the least likely of times and the Angel shows up. He makes an announcement that will send a chain of reaction that will change the world forever. Remember the last thing that anybody expected to happen was Zacharias , something is about to happen to you and your wife Elizabeth, because it was impossible, physiologically , mentally and scientifically it can't happen but Zacharias you're going to learn something God is not bound by physically principles.
2. KEEP WORKING - GOD IS LISTENING
You keep working because God is listening, Elizabeth and Zacharias have been praying long time for a child, if you read the whole story Luke emphasis over and over that they're very old , according to the Greek manuscript they were more than 90 years, In those times couples married early, so let's say they married at the age 25 and they're 90 , they have been praying for 65 years, all of their lives and He's still working and they're still praying.
And the angel said something,
Luke 1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
Now look at what the Angel said " thy prayer is heard " in the Greek word, it meant your prayer was heard. You know Zacharias, the prayer that you have been saying for over 60 years and over God heard them. All the prayers that you laid to Him, God heard every word of them. Now look at God's answer to Zacharias,
Luke 1:13-16 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
Now God didn't only answer Zacharias, He more than answered their prayer, the angle said you are going to have a boy not just a boy , he will be full of the Holy Spirit and He's going to be the forerunner for the Messiah and when he starts to preach He is going to turn many hearts unto the Lord . This is how Zacharias responds.
Luke 1:18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
Now look at Zacharias argument, "I am old, and my wife is also old logically we can't have a child, look at the angels response.
Luke 1:19-20 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
Now listen to what the Angel says, Zacharias, you're not going to speak another word until the baby speaks, you know why? Because God doesn't do things at your timetable, He does them at His own season.
What the angel was saying, God had marked them on His calendar before you were born, or even Elizabeth was even born, all those prayers you were saying He heard them, you know what He was doing whilst you were praying for 65 years? Just like chess, He was moving the pieces around on the board, orchestrating events in your life, He has brought you to the life and He has brought Israel to the place where He wants to do.
"God does not do what we always want Him to do, but when He does what He wants to do,when He wants to do it is what we would have wanted all along ". This is not the story, remember John is not the star of the show, he's just the warmup guy, he's the forerunner of the Messiah that was promised 1000s of years ago and it was God's plan all along because God fulfils His plan by keeping His promise. God's plan for the world then and now is to keep His promise and to send His Savior twice, He said He wants to Redeem us, He already done that and He is going to send Him the second time to rule over us . Always in his plan ,always in the world , always in His time.
There are some people who are trying to figure out the second coming of Jesus, using times and reading some manuscripts and prophecies from the Bible , I don't sweat about it because I know exactly when Jesus is going to come back, IN HIS OWN SEASON OR IN HIS APPOINTED TIME.
3. KEEP WATCHING - GOD IS COMING.
Now , you remember when the Angel talked to Zacharias it has been 6 months after they have had that conversation, and now this conversation takes place.
Luke 1:26-28 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
Don't forget this, if an Angel visits you and talked to you, it's a good day, the Angel said
Luke 1:30-31 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
Luke 1:32-33 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Now watch this, this young girl who was about 18 years and is a virgin and gets pregnant and she's going to have a Baby not just a Baby , but you're going to have the Messiah of the Jewish nation and the savior of the whole world. You're going to have the Lord of the universe, you're going to the king of all kings and the king of all kingdoms and He's going to rule a kingdom that never ends and remember there haven't been a king in Israel for over 600 years and the nation of Israel was under the powerful rulership of the Romans and the Angel announces this to her.
Hallelujah
What I want you to see is, from the time God lifted the sun into the sky and the time God created the first man on this earth and from the time the first man and woman rebelled against God , from that moment, God had a plan . God had a plan to bring the Jewish people into the world, God had a plan to bring the Savior into the world , God had a plan to let the Lord of the universe to leave His throne and come to earth and He was going to do it through the Virgin teenager , Mary asked a question that was normal,
Luke 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
Because we know logically this can't happen, scientifically and medically it was not possible but with God NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE
Thank you

TOPIC : " STAY ON THE LADDER "
DATE : 30th April, 2021.
Let's pray, Father in heaven, You are the most High. You are Alpha and Omega this day let your word transfer us and change our lives in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.
Today we are going to talk about Nehemiah, he accomplished one of the greatest feats in history, he did it by one simple thing, it is the reason why we know who he is, it Is the reason why he has a book in the Bible, Nehemiah stayed on the ladder.
We go back 2500 years to a city called Jerusalem, it's been in a disrepair for 150 years. The economy was shattered, the people were discouraged because the walls were razed, back in the days the strength of a city depended on the walls of the city for safety and security. We are going to 3 things that makes a great leader from the Nehemiah story.
1. HOLD STRONG CONVICTIONS.
Now Nehemiah had to climb 2 huge mountains to accomplish his goal that God had asked him to do. The mountain of incredible difficult to do and the mountain of unbelievable opposition. Within that walls was 2 and a half miles, normally it would have taken years to complete that task , when he came to Jerusalem he started with no capital, no money, no man power and no influence. He completed this amazing engineering feat ahead of schedule and under budget but it wasn't easy because from Day 1, he run through a wall of opposition.
Nehemiah 6:1-2 Now it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;) That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.
We got 3 guys in the story. Sanballat and Tobiah and Geshem, they have laid land mines and evil traps ahead for Nehemiah.
First, they tried to keep him from coming and then we he got there they tried to stop him from building. Nehemiah had one conviction, his job was to rebuild the wall, what the 3 guys wanted him to do was for him to come down from the ladder and stop the building , he knew his job, he had only one job to rebuild the wall and then he made one profound statement.
Nehemiah 6:3 And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?
If he had disobeyed God's call, we would have never heard or read about him in the bible, just as he was focused to rebuild the wall, the 3 guys were also focused to destroy or disturb him from building the wall. Four times they sent me this message, each time I gave them the same answer, they have tried everything . They sent him a message on whatsapp, Facebook and Twitter but Nehemiah was focused on the ladder.
2. HANDLE SINISTER CRITICISM.
Nehemiah criticism never back down. They used different tactics.
Nehemiah 6:6 Wherein was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words.
We are living in an information age but back in that day an open letter is very dangerous, the letter could be read anywhere, in other words, the letter was public, they criticized him both in private and in public.
They started with a rumor "it is reported " , sometimes people say things about us that they don't know of like in the case of Nehemiah but it didn't deter him or stopped him from doing his work for the Lord. This is how Nehemiah dealt with his critics.
Nehemiah 6:8 Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.
Nehemiah was gracious but he was firm in his response, he stayed on the ladder, he was concentrated on building the walls of Jerusalem. If you want to be a leader you have to hold strong convictions , you have to handle sinister criticisms.
3. YOU HAVE TO HAVE STEADFAST COURAGE.
Building the walls of Jerusalem is not for the feignest of hearts, Nehemiah faced a great risk of losing his life, a person named Shemaiah takes one last opportunity to take him off the ladder, he was a priest and a religious leader , he was even a one time friend of Nehemiah.
Nehemiah 6:10 Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee.
In fact the threat was real, that in chapter 4 , Nehemiah had to put arm men around the wall to protect him on the building of the wall.
Nehemiah did one thing that every leader should do when he/she is under pressure, you must have a steadfast courage. There's an old saying in Sports, "No guts No glory " . That's so true in leadership, it took guts to rebuild the wall of a city at threat of your own life. When the battle is raging and it looks like the odds are against you, great leaders don't run, great leaders look for a place to stand.
[4/30, 10:38 PM] 01338 FCH Nii Bannerman Ghana: Nehemiah took his stand and this is what he said.
Nehemiah 6:11 And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.
Courage is not doing the right thing believing you'll win, courage is doing the right thing believing you'll win or not.
Nehemiah 6:15 So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days.
Archaeologists have unearthed some parts of Nehemiah's wall , it was not only 2 and half long ,it was 10 feet across and it was 12 feet high and yet it was finished in 52 days.
2500 years later a part of that wall is still standing because Nehemiah stayed on the ladder.
Nehemiah followed the foot steps of the greatest man that has ever lived on this earth called JESUS, who 2000 years ago had his enemies say to him, come down from the cross and we will believe our Lord and master Jesus stayed on the cross, so I want to end with this as leaders we should listen to the voice of God and not voice of the people
Peace Shalom

TOPIC : "BACK FROM THE GRAVE "
DATE : 23rd April, 2021.
Let's pray, Father in heaven, You are the most High. You are Alpha and Omega this day let your word transfer us and change our lives in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.
This man we are talking about his name is Paul, he was talking to some people about Jesus Christ, he was telling them why he believes in the resurrection , why they have to believe in the resurrection.
Acts 13:29-39 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.
But God raised him from the dead: And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
1. WE HAVE AN EMPTY TOMB.
Something happened 2000 years ago,no body denies it, it was so dramatic, so transformational and it was so life changing that 11 men life changed that they all died violent death except 1 who was exiled on an island to starve to death. Everybody died a violent death because they wouldn't denied that Jesus was alive.
Something happened that it was so unbelievable that 4 men sat down and wrote for gospels about the birth, life and death of this man, something happened that it was so unreal that a movement begun in a little town called Jerusalem and it started spreading in the entire world over and over.
When you put all that together, that's what makes this statement, so amazing, because remember the man that is about to tell you about the resurrection of Jesus Christ detest the name of Jesus, he despised the movement called Christianity, this is what he said
Acts 13:29-30 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.
But God raised him from the dead:
This is what he said about Jesus, the empty tomb alone doesn't prove that Jesus rose from the dead.
If Jesus died and the tomb is empty, then there can be only 2 possibilities.
He rose from the dead, or somebody took the body
Let's do some forensics analysis,
Somebody might have stolen the body, there's only 2 groups that could have done that. His friends or his foes, when you examine the evidence his foes won't have taken it and his friends couldn't have taken it. Let me tell you why?
To make sure nobody will steal that body, the moment Jesus body had been put in the tomb, the pharisees goes to the Romans (they were in charged )so they go and tell them to give them soldiers to take care and protect the body from being stolen by Jesus disciples. And they put a huge stone to seal the tomb. Let's say the Pharisees changed their mind Saturday night and say they don't take the body , we will take the body , let's say the Pharisees took the body, all they had to do to stop Christianity was just produced the body.
They wouldn't have gone through the trouble of arresting the disciples, which they did, they wouldn't have beaten and killed them. All they had to do to end the Christianity movement was just produce the body. Since they couldn't produce the body there can be only one reason they couldn't do it, THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE BODY.
We have to put that aside, what about his friends? Maybe his friends took the body, everyone of these disciples was willing to die because of the resurrection of Jesus , they did die because they believed Jesus resurrected. People will die for convictions, they won't die for concoctions, people will die for what they believe is true , nobody will die for something they know is a lie unless they're trying to protect someone they love.
If you go back and read the 4 gospels, you'll find out there wasn't 1 disciple at the tomb that was expecting Jesus to come out of that tomb. They were hiding out, they were not expecting Him to resurrect. Nobody believed He was coming back from the dead, as a matter fact, in those days the Jews,Greeks and Romans didn't believe in the resurrection, the Jews as a matter of fairness believed that at the end of time, God will raise the righteous people and put them together and live with Him forever but nobody believed right in the middle of history , God will raise 1 single person from the dead.
So when they put Jesus in that tomb, the disciples and His family thought they won't see Him again but the empty tomb changed everything. William Wand puts it this way "All the strictly historical evidence we have is in favour of the empty tomb and those scholars who reject it ought to recognize that they do so on some other ground than that scientific history"
You may not believe in the resurrection and Virgin birth of Jesus but there's one thing you cannot deny. SUNDAY NIGHT, THAT TOMB WAS EMPTY.
Paul says we have a stronger case than that,
2. WE HAVE EYEWITNESS TESTIMONIES.
This is what Paul meant.
Acts 13:31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
Nobody disputes the fact that there was significant number of men that saw Him when He rose from the dead. Mathew, Mark and Luke were with Jesus for 3 years during His ministry and they wrote about His resurrection and they claimed He resurrected and they died with that conviction. The gospel doesn't explain the resurrection, it is the resurrection that explains the gospel because if Jesus Christ has not been raised from the dead, we don't have Christmas, we don't have Easter, we don't have the Lord's Supper, we don't have the church, we don't have the new testament. It is the resurrection that explains the new testament. If you took the birth of Jesus, it only affects Mathew and Mark they referred to His birth. If you took the resurrection of Jesus , you'll take the entire New testament.
His family thought He was crazy, when He said I'm the Son of God, I have come to saved the world, they thought He was crazy in fact Mark tells us about it.
Mark 3:21(Reference Bible)
But when his relatives heard about it, they went out to lay hold of him, for they were saying: “He has gone out of his mind.
And after 40 days of His resurrection, a number of people that believed were in the upper room and were worshipping Jesus, praising Jesus, magnifying Jesus , take a guess who's in that room
Acts 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
Jesus will say, I TOLD YOU SO. The one who was narrating this Paul, he never saw Jesus do miracles, he never saw Jesus died and resurrect, he only saw Jesus after He went to heaven. All the disciples loved Jesus, they wanted him to come out of the tomb but not Paul, he hated Jesus. He was absolute hostile to the name Jesus and yet something happened that was so unbelievable his life and he sat down in a Roman prison and he wrote half of the new testament and said Jesus Christ is Lord.
No Religious or Philosophical leader died and and resurrected , let's take the 3 religious beliefs. Judaism, the founder is Abraham , every Jew will tell you Abraham died and Abraham is dead, Budaism, the founder of Budaism was Buda, we know when he was born and we know when he died, every Budist will tell you Buda died and Buda is dead. Let's take Islam, Muslims say the founder of their religion is Prophet Muhammed, they will all tell you Muhammad died and Muhammed is dead . Christianity is the only belief in the world which is not based on somebody personality or somebody's teachings , it is based on the resurrection and evidence of an empty tomb and eye witness testimony
Hallelujah

TOPIC : "MAKING THE RIGHT DECISION"
DATE : 16th April, 2021.
Let's pray, Father in heaven, You are the most High. You are Alpha and Omega this day let your word transfer us and change our lives in the name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.
You're going to make a choice about Jesus, one way or the other. You can say I'm not a Republican or Democrat which is politically but spiritually you have to make a choice, you can't seat on the fence. You're on one side of the cross or the other. If you want to make the right choice like one man did, there are 3 things that we will learn from that story.
1. RECOGNIZE YOUR PERSONAL GUILT.
Because we are living in 20th century you won't understand the story but if you have lived 2000 years ago you would have understood. There was something unusual about the whole story, two thieves got into a dialogue, it begins with one of the criminals railing insults at Jesus,
Luke 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
The word RAIL in the Greek language is Blasphemous, it is a word that means using a vial language you can imagine.
When this man was insulting Jesus, he didn't just only say Jesus was ugly , it wasn't that kind of insults, it was an Xxx rated insults. There came a point the man at the other side had enough and this is what happened
Luke 23:40-41 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
When you read Mathew, Mark account, these men were criminals and wicked men , they will kill your mother for money and your brother for pleasures.
Now the Roman government didn't just crucify people for just being thieves, they weren't just thieves, they were more than just thieves , they were being crucified for rebelling against the Roman empire. In those days, if you want to die quick, you have to criticize the the Roman empire or Caesar or any government official. This is where we come in the story
I want to see us hanging on the cross with Jesus and not the criminals, I know you'll say I'm not a criminal or I haven't rebelled against any government. Simple reason, they're dying in sin. They were rebels against the government that's why they were being crucified, but the reason they were dying is they rebelled against God.
That's why 1 of the thieves asked "don't you fear God "? Now what is God have to do with this?
We are all guilty of the spiritual rebellion against God, we are all guilty of rejecting God's Son, one of the criminal wakes up and realizes his guilt. He said I'm guilty of what I deserve. If you don't see yourself as one of the criminals or you don't see yourself as rebelling against God and sinning against God, you will never come close to God. Let me put in this perspective.
If you don't believe that you and i are guilty of putting Jesus on the cross , you'll never come close to God. The criminal realizes it and says it was my crime that nailed me to the cross but it was my sin that nailed Jesus to the cross. He recognizes his spiritual guilt and his personal guilt. That is the first right choice if you want to be right with God.
2. REQUEST FOR SPIRITUAL GRACE
Mathews account was that both criminals hauled insults at our master Jesus.
Matthew 27:44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
Some way along the line, condemnation turned to transformation into adoration. The criminal became a convert. For the first time in the history of crucifixion, one of the criminals turned to the other and tells him you have done nothing wrong, you don't belong here. He saw Jesus as a sovereign and saving man.
Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
This guy went from a blasphemy to be a believer, he said I'm guilty, you are guiltless, I'm a criminal and you're a king. I hopeless and You are my only hope.
This is the most transformational salvation in the bible, he calls Jesus a king , he's a not looking at Jesus with a crown on His head but a king with a cross at His back, this is the first time he has seen Jesus, he never saw Jesus walked on water , feed the multitudes or turned water into wine, he asks Jesus to save him when it looked like Jesus is the one who needs saving.
If that man could believe in Jesus before the resurrection how can you not believe in Jesus after the resurrection.
What changes this man's mind? He didn't know about the Virgin birth, he didn't know about the old testament prophecy. There's one thing that could explain it, a little bit earlier, Jesus had made a statement
Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
This thief was listening to all these things Jesus said, the Romans are making fun of him, the Pharasees and the Saduccees are also making fun of him, everyone was making fun of Him, no sympathy for Jesus.
I believed when he heard those words it entered into his heart and pierced through his heart , he said wait a minute, only God could forgive anybody, and only the Son of God could said what you just said, You are not like me or like friend, I believe all of a sudden the word Grace came alive to this man , he saw grace in Jesus . He understood that I was dying in my sin but you're dying for my sin , at that moment Jesus took the guilt that we deserve so that we can get the grace we don't deserve.
Hallelujah

It‘s time for the word of God.
Let‘s pray: We thank you Lord for the grace given to us that we can share the word. May you minister to us, give us the spirit of understanding. Be with us, Holy spirit assist us, My lock and my Redeemer, In Jesus precious name we pray,,,AMEN!
TOPIC: THE ULTIMATE POVERY BREAKER.
Jeremiah 23:29
Is not my word word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rocks in pieces?
This is an assurance that it‘s word of God that can break and endup any kind of capitivity including POVERY.
Poverty does not answer to prayer. We do not destroy poverty by oganising a forty days prayer and fasting. The sporit of poverty does not respond to prayer, for it is a Deaf and Deformed Demon (DDD).
Psalms 119:130; The word of God brings the light and complete understanding about a particular challenge or stuation.
You need to know how to deal with it, if you truly want to be free poverty. It takes light to conquer lack.
Lack is the absence of light. Lack of light is the reason of poverty. Light takes of insight, revelation, understanding, or illumination. Lack of insight on financial matters is what leads to poverty. Lack is a product of of lack of light, not lack of money or lack of oportunity. Lack of light is what leads to poverty, and aids from donor countries can not destroy it.
John 1:5; Light is the antidote for poverty. You can not encounter the light of the word, and stil wallowing in lack. Going for deliverance session to be freed from poverty is mere oppression. Go for light and the darkness of poverty shall be scattered.
You need light in seven aeras, if you must permanently deal with poverty.
SEVEN AREAS WHERE YOU NEED LIGHT.
1). Light on silver
2). Light on seed
3). Light on sowing
4). Light on speaking
5). Light on serving
6). Light on saving
7). Light on investing
EQUATION ON LIGHT
(6S+I)L =PFL
S represent the first letter of first 6 points. I represent Investiment.
PFL represent POVERTY FREE LIFE.
1. LIGHT ON SILVER:
Silver in this contex means money.
The Light that you have about silver will determine how much of it you control in life. Money is the reward for the problem you solve. The more problem you solve, the more money you have. Money in hand is a blessing, but if it is in the heart, it is a curse.
Psalms 105:37 God did not bring lsraelites out of Egypt empty handed.
Silver is for God (Haggi 2:8)
God want to give you plemty of silver (Job 22:25)
2. LIGHT ON SEED
You must be able to distiguish between seed and fruit (bread).
Isaiah 55:10 Inside of every silver that comes into your hands are the seed and fruit.A proper understanding of seed is enssential for you to enjoy the true prosperity.
2 Corinthians 9:10 There can not fruits, if there are no seeds. The seed controls the human destiny. Learn to saw THE DESTINY PRESERVATION SEED. It builds the hedge around your destiny and keeps it from destiny destroyers. The seed Controls human destiney.
THE LIGHT I SAW ON SEED
Everyone has a seed (2 Corinthians 9:10); My harvest is dependent on my seed (6:38);The quality of my seed will determine the quality of my harvest (Genesis 8:32); My seed controls my future (Galatians 6:9);My seed has the potential for multiplication (John 12:24); My seed must not be wasted.
Holding my seed brings me under a curse (Proverbs 11:26); What I do with my seed can make me grow or groan.(Mathew 25:21,23,30); Everything start with a seed.(Mathew 4:31-32).
The death of a seed is the burial of a forest. You can count the number of seeds in an apple, but you can not count the number of apple in a seed.
LIGHT I SAW ON SERVING (WORK)
I have something to offer my world.
God wants me to work
God will bless the work of my hand.
If I do not work, nothing will work.
There is something you can do differently in your society. Go and find it.
3. LIGHT ON SOWING.
Your seed does you no good until it is sown.Sowing is your ladder out of the pit of poverty. If you refuse to sow your seeds, you can not expect a harvest. Genesis 8:22; Genesis 26:12
LIGHT I SAW ON SOWING
Sowing my seed is an expresion of my faith in God (Hebrews 11:6)
Sowing in the kingdom is the wisest investment i can be involved.(Mathew6:20)
4. LIGHT ON SAVING
Saving is a convenant sense for exercising dominion over poverty. Until you know how to save, you are not ready to prosper. If you do not have savings, you are going to be an economic slave. If you do noy save, your future is not safe. Deuteronomy 28:8
THE LIGHT I SAW ON SAVINGS
God wants me to have a storehouse (savings account).Savings is a proof that I am not a waster. Saving is a ptoof that I believe in the future.
Saving is wisdom. Only the wise save, the fool spenda all that he has (Proverbs 21:20).
He that eats with his ten fingers may live one day to have no other finger to eats with. BE AWARE OF LITTLE EXPENSESES FOR A SMALL HOLE CAN SINK THE WHOLE SHIP. Money saved is good as money gained.
5. LIGHT ON INVESTING.
Working without investing will make a man end his journey in poverty. You must learn how to increase whatevet you have , if poverty must be dealt with.
INVESTIMENTS THAT YOU CAN GET INVOLVED:
Invest in a business.
Invest in shares and stocks.
Invest in reat estate. Building houses and rental them out.
Invest in precious stones.
But never invest un a business you can not understand.
LIGHT I SAW ON INVESTMENT
God wants me to invest His resoursea which has entrusted to me ( Luke 19:13). God is an investor. He investes His Son and He is gaining the world for Himself (John 3:6). My financial future is a function of my investments today. God will take away my
resourses if I am not an investor. (Luke 19:24).
THE RICH INVEST THEIR MONEY FIRST AND SPEND THE REST, WHILE THE POOR AND THE MIDDLE CLASS SPEND THEIR MONEY FIRST AND INVEST THE REST.
The poor work for money while the rich have money work for them.
Glory be to Our Lord Jesus Christ.
AND GOD ASSIST YOU AS YOU PRACTICE HIS WORD TO BRING YOU OUT OF THIS SPIRIT OF POVERTY.
¶ CHANNELS OF SOWING
TITHING: Tithe means a tenth.
Tithing is the regular practice of setting apart the first tenth of your total income for God. And it is not the pastor‘s idea; it is God‘s formula for opening the floodgate of heaven to you. Marachi 3:8-12
Although, you give your thith in your church, it.is Jesus that receives it. It is spiritual transaction. Hebrews 7:8.
OFFERING: This is what God requires us to appear with, each time we appear before Him. You must never appear before God without an offering in your hand.
GIVING TO THE POOR: Proverbs 19: 17; You shoul make provision for the poor in different ways.
GIVING TO SPECIAL KINGDOM PROJECT:Your financial promotion is tied to kingdom project. When God is blessing you and your bisiness is growing, please inderstand that He would call on you one day to give to His kingdom of what He has given you. Exodus 25:2-8
GIVING TO MINISTERS OF GOD.
Bless your pastor from God‘s blessings in your life.It is a spiritual principle, and it is one of the major keys God uses to bless His people.
Do not keep your money away from the pastor that has been a blessing to you.Do not just smile and shake the pastor‘s hand, you should command the flow of grace and favour into your life by sowing into the life of a servent of God.1 Corinthians 9:11; Luke 8:1; Galatians 6:6
6. LIGHT ON SPEAKING
Wuthout light on speaking, destroy all your labour. If you must destroy poverty, there are things you must never allow to come out of your mouth. Romans 4:17
THE LIGHT I SAW ON SPEAKING
God honours my word(Numbers 14:28 Isaiah 44:26) Satan bows at my word (ECCl 5:6) My word has life in it (Proverbs 18:21) I must never speak contrary words (Eccl 5:6)
7. LIGHT ON SERVING
This talks about meeting needs; adding value to people‘s lives.
You must be productively engeged in something if you must deal with poverty.
Take time to discover your purpose, your gift, or what you are good at.
It will bring out your uniqueness.
You can not seperate your breakthrough from your purpose, gift, or what you are good at .

Topic: Who you are
🍁
Let‘s pray, We bless You Lord for everything, we surrender this hour into your hands. Speak to us, give us the spirit of understanding, in Jesus mighty name we have pray, Amen!
Bible reading: Matthews:
13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.
18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
Beloved, this a day to identify the deepest root of the problem and failures of believers.
The difference between the rich and the poor is information. One has an information that will advance him in life and the other does not have it. Sometimes the difference between the great and the small is knowledge.
‘The man‘s mountain is his ignorance.’
There are great discoveries, but the greatest discovery that everyone could ever make, is SELF DISCOVERY.
Ignorance about whom you are could put you in untold hardship.
One of satan‘s most effective devices is to get christians, to be completely ignorance of their true identity.
The devil will always try to whisper dirty things into the aers of the believer. Let‘s see the life Jesus from His birth to His death on the cross(Be as axample to you).
Jesus was always talking about whom and what He is, what His mission in life. And He said, He is the living waters, the bread of life, the son of God, the way, the truth and the life.
Hosea 4:6. may people are perish because of lack of knowledge about whom they are .
I am not talking about your name is, (at this level, your name is not important). WHO YOU ARE? what is your spiritual ability?
If you don‘t know the answer to these questions, you will be like those who were pray for the release of peter from prison, but did not expect to see him at the door
If you are forty or fifty years old and you do not yet know why you are in this world, you have to pray swriously today. Time is running out on the human race.
¶ When a person is possesses a deep sense of self hated, self-rejection and condemnation.
This is a feeling of being unwanted, being unneeded, unloved, withdrawal and isolation.
Some men can not person decision, they have to consult their mother before they can do anything. They can‘t start anything until someone motivates them..
The day you realise whom you are, that day you would have won a great battle.
WHEN YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, AND YOU KEEP CONFESSING IT, THINGS BEGIN TO HAPPEN - Hebrews 11:13
The greatest enemy for man is himself. The most terrible form of man‘s ignorant, is ignorance of oneself. Until you discover whom you are, you can not give yourself to another person.
AN EXAMPLE OF ZERO MARRAIGE.
There are may families but but they are doing nothing as a families.
The 99% of married people, never really know themselves. They even live the life style of singleness.
¶ SYMPTOMS OF NOT KNOWING ONESELF.
Complete ignorance of one‘s divine destiny.
¶ HOW TO DISCOVER YOURSELF?
A) YOU MUST BE A BORN AGAIN - Romans 10:9
B) PRAY TO DISCOVER WHOM YOU ARE.
What God created you to become to do in this world. Know what God had in mind in the beginning. Then, you will know if you are doing it or not and you will make a move to change, so that you can be blessed.
C) SEE YOURSELF.
Think about yourself the way God does and not the devil does.
D) DICONNECT YOURSELF FROM PAST NEGATIVE EXPRIENCES.
Forgetting those things that are behind and look forward.
E) DO NOT COMPARE TOURSELF WITH OTHET PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU ARE UNIQUE.
Each person is different from another even the twins.
F) WATCH YOUR TOUGUE ESPECIALLY WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT YOURSELF.
The words that you speak about yourself and situation matter alot.
SHALOM!

Praise the Lord
10 And David‘s heart smote him after that he had numberd the people. And David said unto The Lord, I have sinned greatly in that I have done....17 ...
There are challenges as you go through this journey of life. There are situations that will force you to stumble. There is failure in this life. So you must be watchful as you go through this journey. failure is a characteristic of every human being. It begun with our first parents in the garden of Eden. They fall against God.
But remember that you are not meant to go out of the ring. Proverbs 24:16
Though we will fall but God has given us ability to rise and go forward. The nature and dimension of failure differ from a person to person.
You may fail in the different area. But failure is something very painful. Some failures are invisible and visible. Every failure linked to its consequeny. Even if you are doing a private sin, but the consequencies will always preveil. There always deep pain when the consequencies of the failure is long lasting and big. You may fail as father in a family and there every member of that family is affected. Failing in final exams, failing to use money properly, failing to lead a nation as apresident and the whole country is affected
David sinned against God and he realised this then he sick for forgiveness before God sothat the people should not being panished. He confessed before God on verse 17
REASONS WHY THE FAILURE COMES IN:
1. Due to fall of Adam in the garden of Eden. This is a major reason. Genesis 3:6-12
2. Fear
3. The wrong choices that we make in life.
4. Pride and over confidence. 1 Corinthains 10:12
5.Bad attitude; Numbers 13:31- You cannot rise above your altitude. Your altitude speaks volume.
6.Lazness. Lazy people can not find their way to the top
7. Sin(pure sin). This preveils in different ways.
But the truth is that, success feeds on failure.
FOUR ENJURING PRINCIPLE TO BE DONE WHEN YOU HAVE FALLEN
A. WHAT OUT AGAINST ADAM‘S SYNDROME.
What was adam‘s Syndrome?.Blaming someone. Adam blames his wife as a one caused him to sin instead of just accepting his failure. We tend to blame others
B. REGULARY PERFORM POSTMOTENT OPERATIONS.
This is an examination which done when someone has died so that they can tress the cause of the death.
It is necessary to ask and check, why have I fallen?
Failure will not go by itself, No.
Problem does not go by itself, it must be solved. What you postpound today, will ressurect and bite you with a deep pain. The problem you don‘t address today, will arrest you tomorrow. You should leflect and observe the mistake.
C. GROW THE COURAGE OF NOT FEARING TO FAIL
Deutronomy 31:6
We should not glorify afailure
many people are not.achieving the great things becoz they fear to fail
Whenever you fail, never fear to face it again. Those who became the great creators of verious products, passed through several experimentations.
so flame your fear.
D. ALWAYS ACT IN FAITH.
Hebrews 11:1
Now, it become to muscle your faith in God‘s promises. Don‘t do things on yourself. Success without Christ is a crisis.
Have a blessed night, YOU HAVE BEEN WITH ME.

1 Thessalonians 5:22-23
TOPIC: BE A VESSEL OF HONOR.
Allowing God‘s Glory to shape your life
Let‘s pray, We thank You, Lord of this wonderful time we are sharing the word. May you minister to us,give us the spirit of understanding Lord, In Jesus Christ we have pray,,,,,AMEN!
Bible reading, KJV
22 Abstain from all apearance of evil.23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be perserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
Let‘s begin by discussing:
TWO TYPES OF VESSELS
(1).Vessel of honor
(2). Vessel of destruction
You and I live in a amazing time of great spiritual life and of great spiritual darkness.Though today christians have more revelation of the word of God than any other generation that ever lived, the world around us is growing more evil every day.
SO WHAT ARE WE TO DO:
How are we as believers to live in the midst of such evil?
A. ABSTAIN FROM EVIL.
As verse 22 says, that means, don‘t participate it, don‘t watch it, don‘t feed on it and have nothing to do with it.
B. We should know that we are not children of darckness but we are children of life.
Colosaians 1:13
we have no business participating in evil.
C. To understand that.we are devoted to the Lord and no destruction
We are the temples of God and His Spirit dwells in. If we destroy it, we are to be destructed too. God wants us to be holy.
To be holy means to be set apart , seperated to simething and separated from somthing else.
Be reminded of something which is holy according to.the word of God,
Marachi 3:10 The Bible teaches that the tithe is devoted. That means it has set been aside for God.It is a holy thing, set apart for God‘s use. So person‘s tithe can be devoted to.God or to destruction. If you give it to God , it becimes devoted to Him (if you keep it, and rob Him of it, it becomes devoted to destruction).
If you don‘t keep your body the way you should ,by obeying God, it will begin to destruction.
The more a person uses drugs or alcohol, partakers of pornography or adultery or any other kind of sin, the more quickly he or she will die.
GOD WANTS US TO FREE.
I believe every believer who loves God wants to.be holy, but not every believer is actually living holy. If you have struggled like this, even for years, I konw you can be free.
John 17:17.
All it needs is your choice your quality decision.God is faithful, He is just waiting on the oppertunity to help you.
Jeremiah 15:19
If you are a person who is moved away from God, He is asking you to return. If you are not saved, He is asking you to come to him and make Jesus your Lord and savior. (God would not force you to do that).
But He does not require you to live a life separated to Him.God wants you to do.what He says and walk in His ways because those things produce freesom... ..they produce best for you.
You can‘t walk in the ways of the word and be free, never!
HE IS NEVER STOPPED WORKING.
You may have given up overcoming sometings in your life, but God never has. His word to you is always; ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE .
From the time you came into the kingdom.of God, God has endeavored to.restore you, to readjust you so.that you can walk in the full bleasings and the full power of God. Jeremiah 18:1-4
GLORY BE TO GOD FOR HIS WORD HE HAS SPOKEN TO US.

Blessing brethren I bring you greetings from our lord Jesus Christ in a Minitue I will start my ministration Title:Commitment and Who I am stay bless as your from God.
Let us Pray Father in Heaven we thank you for Today, thank you for our lives and all that you have done for us Lord as are about to partake of your word give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation to understand your word speak to us o lord in Jesus Name.
Text: Matthew 16:24-26
Subject: COMMITMENT AND WHAT I DO
Matt.16.24 - Then Jesus said to the disciples, "If any of you wants to be my follower, you must put aside your selfish ambition, shoulder your cross, and follow me.
Matt.16.25 - If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life.
Matt.16.26 - And how do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul in the process? Is anything worth more than your soul?
Jesus spoke these words to His disciples, but they still call us to action today. Through these living words, Jesus makes it clear that He requires total commitment from His followers. He said that unless one commits everything, one loses everything. For disciples of Christ Jesus, commitment must remain strong until the end of our earthly walk.
Let us quickly look at Matthew 16:24-26 to see what Jesus said to His disciples as we talk on the subject: “Commitment and What I Do.” Jesus urged His disciples to be serious in their commitment to the kingdom work and to go the extra mile. What was in the mind of Jesus? And how did He intend His disciples (and all of us) to practice this type of commitment? A deeper look at this passage will reveal to us what Jesus expected His followers to do:
HIS FOLLOWER SHOULD:
1 - DENY HIMSELF (v24a).
A lot of people misunderstand this passage thinking that it only refers to forgoing certain luxuries or entertainment down here. No! This verse says, “Let him deny himself,” You already know that the hardest person in the world to deny is yourself.
You already know that the hardest person in the world to deny is yourself. To deny myself food is hard enough, but to deny myself is difficult indeed. To deny myself is to put self out of the picture and to put Christ in the place of self. Deny self is not the same as self-denial; it means to yield to His control so completely that self has no right whatsoever.
Are you ready and willing to go this extra mile with Jesus Christ? This is what we are called to and this is the Jesus standard of deeper commitment.
2 - TAKE UP HIS CROSS (v24).
We are not to take Christ’s cross but our own cross. There is a cross for you and a cross for me. To take up the cross means the willingness to endure shame, suffering, and perhaps martyrdom for His sake; to die to sin, self, and the world.
The cross may take different shapes and forms and may come in different sizes, but what is important is, we taking our own cross. No man can take your cross for you because it is a personal commitment.
Interestingly, there is no short cut to this process. You can decide to run away from it, defer it or out rightly deny it, but the fact remains, you cannot escape it, if you desire to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Wow! ‘What a shock.’
Are you positioned to take up your cross and make a deeper commitment? I pray that you will not delay this commitment in your life.
3 - FOLLOW HIM (24).
To follow Him means to live as He lived with all that it involves - humility, poverty, compassion, love, grace, and every other godly virtue. To follow Him means that He takes the lead and we come after. It means He is in charge and we should take instructions from Him.
We go where He leads us, stay where He stays, live how He lived and eat what He sets before us and ask no question. To follow Him means we are fully sold out to His course, principles, values, word and above all the leading of His Spirit.
Do we have people in the house today who want to make this landmark commitment and deny themselves, take up their cross and follow Jesus? If so, then join me celebrate the goodness of God in the land of the living
Do we have people in the house today who want to make this landmark commitment and deny themselves, take up their cross and follow Jesus? If so, then join me celebrate the goodness of God in the land of the living
Conclusion: Yesterday ended last night and today is a bright new day. Your life of commitment today will determine what you will become tomorrow, and your final destination after your journey on this planet is over. Be sure you are ready. Amen.
Prayer Points
1 - Pray for a committed lifestyle.
2 - Pray that financial authority will follow you as a result of your lifestyle of commitment.
3 - Pray for an outburst of good things to flow in your life because you are a committed child of God.
4 - Pray that permanent healing will locate you.
5 - Pray for the multiplication of commitment in the movement.

Apostle John Makaya
Greetings people of God welcome for today's ministration Title Commitment and how I think.
Stay bless as I minister in the Holy spirit
Let us pray: Heavenly king we thank you for today we blessed you father we ask that you speak to us today in Jesus name give us the spirit of wisdom and Revalation in Jesus name.
If we are going to build strong for a thousand generation, then we have to take commitment very seriously. Our commitment should not only be demonstrated in our actions, but also in the way we think, because our thinking will define our actions. If we are absolutely persuaded in our minds about our commitment to the course of the kingdom, then nothing will stop us.
Despite God’s past faithfulness and certainty of future salvation, Habakkuk faced one of the most fundamental and challenging questions in a believer’s experience: “Am I willing to trust God, even if it means facing trouble experiencing His deliverance”? When the prophet Habakkuk heard of the challenges ahead His people, he trembled inside, his lips quivered with fear, his legs gave way beneath him and he was filled with terror. Habakkuk knew there was nothing he could do, but wait patiently before the Lord, while waiting for the day of distress when the Babylonians would invade (v16)
Habakkuk knew the coming invasion would lead to devastation and starvation. He outlined the loss of major sources of food in a brief sketch: figs would not blossom; no grapes on the vines; olive crop and grain in the fields would produce no food; even the flock[s] of sheep and goats, as well as cattle, would die ( be cut off). Nothing would be left (v17).
But in a remarkable statement of faith and trust, Habakkuk pledged his commitment to rejoice in the Lord and be joyful in the God of his salvation (v18). This is a personal statement of commitment from an ordinary man who is just like us. This is mind-blowing and a demonstration of what “commitment” is all about. The statement, “I will be committed if…” isn’t commitment-making; it is deal making. It’s not commitment - it’s bargaining. God is not in deal-making business, He is requesting our undivided commitment which is our reasonable sacrifice.
Rom.2.1 - Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
Rom.2.2 - But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
Three things to learn from the response of the prophet Habakkuk:
1 - Bad news may terrify me, but not stop my commitment (v16).
2 - The Deteriorating state of the economy may panic me, but not stop my commitment (v17).
3 - In the midst of the circumstances, I will trust the God of the circumstances (v18).
My friend, I don’t know what you are facing right now, but I want to let you know that God has a perfect plan for your life and He intends to carry it through. Whatever is happening right now, is all for your good (Romans 8:28-29). God is the answer to your problem today. You can have faith and confidence in Him. Keep your commitment to Him and trust Christ, and when you remain committed and trust Him, you will find out that He begins to work in you. He wants to conform you to His image - it is God’s intention to make you like Christ
If we can learn from the life of Habakkuk today, then we will no longer lower our commitment to God in the way we think, but rather, will totally be obsessed (controlled) in our minds about our commitment to God and to our assignment.
I challenge you today to make commitment to God and your assignment your way of thinking. Learn from the prophet Habakkuk and experience God’s faithfulness.
Conclusion: Every great endeavour has a price tag. The greater the job, the higher the price. This price tag is known as commitment. Go and think about this. Amen.
If you truly obey all that you have heard today, then I will see you not only at the top, but over and above the top.

PRAISE THE LORD! Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It’s time for today’s word ministration. So stay tuned and be blessed.
Let us Pray: Gracious Lord, we come to thy throne of Grace and we thank you for this time and opportunity you gave us to learn from your word. Help us Lord, to understand your word and live by it thus bringing glory and honor to thy Holy Name…Amen
TOPIC -GIVE THE WORD FIRST PLACE
Key Scripture: PROVERBS 4:20-22
Christians all over the world are more conscious about their physical health and mental health thereby neglecting their spiritual health. For a Christian it is very important to feed his/her spirit than just the mind and the soul. Our Lord enlightens us and guides us through our spirit and therefore we need to become more spirit-conscious. Just as our minds can be educated so can our spirits. Just as our bodies can be built and strengthened so can our spirits be.
One of the ways our spirit can be trained, developed is by giving the Word first place.
It is so important to train, develop and educate our spirit in order to be spiritually strong, mature and be able to know the will of God even in minor details of life. We will receive God’s guidance and instantly God will either give a “YES or a “NO”. We will know in our spirit what we should do in all affairs of life.
PROVERBS 4:20-22 -- My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh
In the above passage, God is saying to
1. give attention to His words – Give heed to His word means be willing to learn,
2. Incline your ears to my sayings - listen carefully to what I have to say, tune your ears to my voice;
3. Do not let them depart from your eyes means keep looking at the word of God at all times.
4. Keep them (My words) in ……. heart – Concentrate on my word! Learn it by heart. It also means fill your thought with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit.
God is telling us to put His words first and to listen to what He has to say and to keep what we read deep inside our heart. WHY???
It is because “…they (His words) are LIFE to those who find them, And HEALTH to all their flesh. The margin of King James says the word translated health is the Hebrew word for medicine. God’s word is “medicine to all the flesh”. There is healing in the word. It gives us physical, psychological and spiritual healing.
The more we read the word, the Holy Spirit begins to mix with our spirit deep in our heart…our inner self. When this occurs our body and our mind respond in healthy ways.
The more often we read the Bible, the better we appreciate what God has in store for us and the better we understand how much He loves us. One of the secret of living a really full life is understanding the love that God has for us as an individual. When we really believe this we begin to live it out. By that I mean that we are better able to develop and sustain habits that honor our body and honor God. We also are better able to keep our mind on the things of God and not things of this world.
Isn’t it wonderful how God’s word planted and nurtured in our heart can bring healing to our flesh (body). The word begins as a spiritual seed and then grows and transforms itself into the physical – WHAT A MIRACLE!
Therefore make sure you plant the seeds of God’s word and do not open yourself to the negatives of this life and keep your soil rich and good and well prepared to receive God’s word so that in due season it will yield a harvest.
Whenever you feel something is coming against your health – read God’s word and start praising God for the healing He has provided through His word. We often get calls from people requesting us for prayer when they are sick or hospitalized. We thank God for the hospital, doctors, medicines, etc. and also thank God for such prayer request and the opportunity God gives us to intercede for others. But along with prayer, it is important to put God’s word first. Sometimes as a last resort Christians will turn to the word.
2 Chronicles 16:12-13 - And in the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa became diseased in his feet, and his malady was severe; yet in his disease he did not seek the LORD, but the physicians. So Asa rested with his fathers; he died in the forty-first year of his reign.
The above verse does not imply that King Asa died because he put the physicians first. However, it does imply that he should have put the Lord first. We should train ourselves to put the Lord first and to ask ourselves concerning any matter big or small – What does God’s word have to say about this?
We should ask ourselves what God has to say about anything that may come up in our life and then put God’s word first.
Sometimes family and friends will try to rush you into things – but you need to think about what the word of God says. Put God’s word first in every area of your life so that it will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being.
May God’s word – His truths in the Bible penetrate your heart and bring you richer and fuller life and good health in spirit, mind and body..God bless you all ….
