For me, this has never been more true. In my teen years (11 to 19) I really REALLY wanted to try a goth athstetic, even though I’m about as diabolical as a box of kittens, I wanted to wear the goth collars, the chains, the black lipstick etc and throughout my life my mother shamed me for wanting a different style other than my normal shirt and jeans. And it got worse after I had my spawn, I had to “dress the part of mommy” and it really sucked. But guess who just got black lipstick in the mail and has a whole goth outfit coming in the mail? :3
i just kinda automatically think of all my mutuals as my age but then one person will mention getting married and having a baby and another will mention going into their junior year of high school and i’m like wait what
Katsuki searched through remains of the fallen buildings, searching. He has to be here! Using whatever strength he had left he lifted boulders of rubble which covered him in cement dust. Where are you!?
After lifting up more heavy chunks of the buildings, he spotted the familiar green locks. As quickly as his body let him, he moved more and more until he was able to free Deku from beneath the destroyed building. “Deku!”
Katsuki sat down with Izuku lying with his head in Katsuki’s lap, matted blood and dust covered him head to toe and, with shaky hands, Katsuki tried to assess Izuku’s injuries and that’s when he saw it; a gaping wound on his side.
“No, no, no, Deku,” Katsuki gasped as he tried to shake Izuku awake. “Hey, c’mon, this isn’t funny!” Katsuki could only try to stop the bleeding, hoping they would be found soon.
He felt a tug on his arm and Izuku was smiling stupidly at him, his eyes dull and barely open. “K-Kacchan-“
“Hey,” Katsuki greeted as he frustratingly wiped away his tears, “y-you’re okay. Help is coming s-so you’re gonna be okay, you fucking idiot.” He held Izuku tighter as Izuku began to cry. “No, don’t cry. You know I h-hate it when you cry.”
“Kacchan, I’m s-scared. I-I’m not ready to die-“
“Shut up, dumbass,” he nearly shouted as he carefully wiped away Izuku’s tears this time. “Just hold on to me, okay? Breathe.” Izuku and Katsuki wrapped their arms around each other as Izuku cried. “You’re not gonna die, okay? I-I promise, Deku. You still gotta beat me, remember? Fight to be number one hero, right? S-so, you can’t die on me.”

Shit that has been said to me by friends, family and strangers online
“You’re bisexual but you’re enganged to a man? Then you’re not really a bisexual.”
“Bisexual people aren’t real. You can’t have both.”
“You can’t be bisexual if you’ve settled down to have a family.”
“You’re not bisexual. You just like the idea of being a lesbian.”
“You have a kid but you don’t know if you want more kids? Well, kids needs siblings! You can’t deny your kid the treasure of having a brother or sister!”
“What if your partner wants more kids?”
“What do you mean you’d support your kid if she came out as binary?! That’s child abuse! Her biology says that she’s a girl.”
“You shouldn’t dye your hair crazy colours, people will think you’re a whore.”
“You want more tattoos?! People will think you’re in a gang.”
Bakugou heaved as he stared at the figure in front of him, the battle ground filled with broken trees, crators in the Earth and blood turning the dirt into mud and yet this figure stood in the middle of it all. Bakugou stalked closer and as he did his eyes widening as the face of someone he once knew grinned back at him, face splattered with blood from his victims. Flashes of his past came zipping through his mind faster than he could make sense of them and he only had one word on his tongue. ”Deku?”
Izuku Midoriya stood tall before him, hair no longer the wild green hair but shaved into a neat undercut and the rest sleeked back, his red dress shirt messy and torn, his grey pants filthy from blood and his smile...his smile was eerily sweet yet terrifying. ”Katsuki Bakugou, what a surprise. I didn't expect anyone to show up so soon. Oh well, ” Deku laughed as he wiped blood from his cheek, ”things don't always go to plan, do they?”
”What are you doing here?” Katsuki screamed as he readied his gauntlets to explode. ”You went missing thirteen years ago, right after-”
”Right after you told me to go kill myself, yes, I know. I was there.” Izuku stated sarcastically as he attempted to straighten his clothes but gave up when he saw the state of himself. ”How does it feel to know that you didn't kill me after all?” He smiled at Katsuki as he licked blood off his lips, his once bright green eyes were red and held this look of evil Katsuki never would have thought Izuku held in his soul. Looking back, Izuku was almost desperate to be a hero. A quirless kid who just wanted to help people.
Katsuki gritted his teeth as he gazed around the field, noting that there were eight dead bodies around him, three of which were heroes. ”What happened to you?!” he growled as he gestured to the dead bodies surrounding them, a rage boiling hot in the pits of his stomach, watching as Izuku just scowled at them as if they were nothing but insects. ”When we were kids you wanted to be a hero! You wanted to help people!” Katsuki’s voice became softer, more gentle as he now spoke to Izuku, not as a villain, but as a friend.
However, Izuku wasn't having any of it. He sneered at Katsuki before he answered. ”Do you really want to know what happened, Katsuki? You. And All Might. And my own mother. No one believed in me. No one thought that a pathetic little kid with no quirk could make any impact on the world. So one day, after All Might told me I'd never be a hero, I took your advice. I found the tallest building I could and I jumped. And do you know what? I lived. I fucking lived. Do you know what I thought? ’I'm so pathetic and useless I can't even kill myself’!” Izuku’s humorless laughter echoed through the dark and broken forest. ”But I was saved by someone, my master, and he gave me powers and now I will fulfill my new dream. And for once, people are looking at me, truly looking at me, for what I am and not for what society as deemed me.”
Kastuki bit his lip as regret and guilt plagued his chest. Would things have been different if Katsuki didn't tell him to kill himself? What if...?
”Anyway, Kacchan, as much as I'd love to stay and chat but I have places to go, people to kill, the usual.” Izumi turned to leave but was struck and held to the ground by a heavy body. He didn't flinch. He turned to see Katsuki above him, a wild angry look on his face as he spoke.
”This is what you chose to do? What about all that bullshit about being a hero? Doing good things? Saving people? Have you really become so cold and heartless you'd murder innocent people?! Isn't there anything left of the Izuku I once knew?”
Izuku stared eerily at Katsuki as his eyes glowed red, his body tensing and a feeling of unease sinking through Katsuki as Izuku simply stated, ”No.”
You know what I’d like to see? A villain Deku au where Deku isn't redeemable. Show me an au where Deku has no morals, no light in his soul and no problems spilling blood. I want to see Bakugou’s life as a Pro Hero with Deku as the greatest villain that still can't be caught even through adulthood. I want the angst, the tears, the thoughts, the blame. I want to see Deku as a true villain.
Thank you for the advice :) I’m doing my research before I do anything and I have read that accepting gifts from faeries can be bad but don’t really know why. I’m still learning.
Ok, so I really need to know this. Why don't you step into a faery ring? What happens and can I leave them offerings or should I not do that?
