Lucerys has sliver/grey curly hair like Laenor, has the same shade of purple eyes like their mother and looks so much like the late Queen Aemma that Jacaerys is trying his best to not hate his little brother. It's not Lucerys fault that people whisper bastard behind Jacaerys back or that people at court seem to adore lovely little Lucerys but ignore Jacaerys.

He somehow even managed to win over Queen Alicent and her children which he can tell bothers their mother. He sees the hurt in her eyes whenever they come across Lucerys happily sitting on the Queen's lap when they break their fast as a family.

Jacaerys can tell she's upset about how much time Lucerys spends with Aemond or how many times he says he's going to marry their uncle once he's old enough. Jacaerys has even heard their mother tell Lucerys that he can never talk about marrying Aemond around the King which confuses both brothers.

Jacaerys thinks their mother is also trying really hard to not hate Lucerys because it's not his fault he wasn't born a bastard.

Lucerys losing the opposite eye tho. That would be poetic of lucemond just mirroring each other. Especially when Aemond has the sapphire and Luke having either a ruby or emerald eye.

They're also opposites in the way that Aemond wears an eyepatch all the time while Lucerys only wears his eyepatch when he's flying. Aemond was taught to be ashamed and cover his eye while Lucerys was taught to be proud and embrace the stares.

Lucerys wears an emerald eye when they return to the Red Keep to remind everyone that it was a Hightower that took his eye. A Hightower Queen Consort that can't seem to decide between staring at Lucerys or looking away. The whispers in court shift against the Greens when faced with the damage the Queen caused to the realm's lovely Lucerys.

No matter how bloody Lucerys’ hands are he isn’t losing sleep over it. If killing them means keeping his family and loved ones safe it can't be a bad thing, he’s learned that from Daemon. 

At the end of the day he’ll wait up for Aemond and wash the blood off his husband's hands. Lucerys doesn’t need to swing a sword to take a life.

Aemond watches his beautiful boy sleep peacefully next to him while he tries to stop his hands from shaking. Every person he kills in order to keep his family and Lucerys safe haunts him in his dreams. It’s something that needs to be done, Aemond understands that, but it doesn’t mean his hands aren’t always bloody.

No matter how many times he washes his hands they’re always stained with blood. The only time he’s able to see clean hands is when they’re wrapped around Lucerys. His beautiful doe eyed husband is the only thing that keeps his hands clean. 

That’s  why he kills those that threaten his family. He kills them so Lucerys can sleep peacefully without worrying about any danger. Coming back to his husband and having Lucerys rid him of the blood is enough.
