I do not mind if people who ships ships I dislike follow me or like/reblog my content, I'm not petty like some people on this platform (lol remember that time an artist threw a tantrum because I reblogged an art from them and I was a shipper of something they disliked. cool art, it's a pity the personality doesn't match).

but if you are someone who keeps on bashing other ships/shippers and think it's okay to bully people because of that, gtfo. if you're cool with any ship, I'm cool with you, feel free to reblog my content or whatever. just respect that there are ships I dislike (but I will never bash them, I just tend to ignore them)

can I call it? if this whole vampire shit is solved like that I am calling it lazy, because it is. I have better theories. I'm pretty meh about this answer to the situation. but at the same time, akutagawa has been dead for two years and nine months (but who's counting?) so I just want this solved as soon as possible. I'll take the narratively lazy answer if I can. it also sucks that we aren't getting a chapter in september. but you know what, I'm feeling it... october is my birthday (AND I will be cosplaying akutagawa). what I need is a birthday gift in the form of my boy akutagawa coming back (I'm not saying "to life" because I think he probably needs to stay as a vampire -- I can elaborate this but you guys probably already know why. but you know, back to having control at least)

I'd like to start a petition for them to animate 55 minutes and this is purely for akuhigu reasons and higuchi being thirsty on main (and she was trying so hard, poor babe. you are persistent, i give you that. akutagawa is either just very dense or trying to keep you away because he cares).

but at the same time I remember what bones did to the last episode and i'm not sure anymore if I want this animated... they hate akutagawa and higuchi so much... so I don't know if this is a good idea

I talked about that in my roleplay blog but since that's for my followers only, I'll say this here as well... I am very disappointed at the akuhigu scene. I know we are all freaking out about the bite but... HEAR ME OUT OKAY.

THE.HUG

THEY TOOK AWAY THE HUG.

Seriously... She's been in love with this man for who knows how long. She spent TWO DAYS thinking he was DEAD. She had to PREPARE HIS FUNERAL. She probably had to keep her feelings to herself in front of the others even if she was devastated. It made SO MUCH SENSE that when she saw him, she would run and hug him. The scene in the manga was so beautiful and full of emotion. She's happy, she's crying, she wants to tell him she loves him because she can't handle the thought of going through that again without having the chance to tell him. AND THEY GAVE US THAT BLAND VERSION OF THE SCENE? Where is my emotionally charged hug? Where is she running to hug him. Where is she starting to confess to him but getting caught off guard when he turns because it's just too much for her? I am pissed, I will not forgive them for this. They've done akuhigu DIRTY (and I'm not even talking about how they've done our boy aku dirty as well because everyone's been talking about this as well).

NOW. ABOUT THE BITE.

I have... mixed feelings okay.

Very sensual, almost erotic, he's holding her on the curve of her back, she's hugging him back, she leaning. I love it, it's very beautiful.

HOWEVER. It's very... not what it was supposed to be. She was very scared (as she should be) in the manga. So, on the one hand I like it because I'm a shipper whore with a vampire kink lol. On the other, it's wrong... Also, they've cut something that was CANON AND BEAUTIFUL AND EMOTIONAL and we're settling for something that isn't even canon (or make sense) just because it's beautiful and sensual? C'mon, guys.

and you haters can fuck off, I'm not out there bothering you personally or in your ship tags to talk shit about YOUR ship (despite the fact that you do that to us). hate will be promptly blocked.

two things I can appreciate from the stage play:

higuchi knowing dazai. it doesn’t make sense that she, being port mafia, wouldn’t know him (even if only by name) considering his reputation inside the pm.

that little talk when akutagawa told higuchi about dazai being his former mentor. it’s totally plausible that he told her, she’s his right hand, of course he told her. i have feelings about this as well.
