They’re really gonna have Eddie and Marisol some how be present during the big catastrophe. And Eddie’s gonna come out of it thinking he’s done wasting time so he’s gonna give it a shot and ask her out. Meanwhile the same time that’s happening, Buck’s gonna have his oh moment and realize everything he’s been wanting has been in front of him this entire time. And then it’s gonna leave on a weird cliffhanger where he knows who he wants but thinks he’s out of time because Eddie’s giving Marisol a chance now. Cue pining Buck and all that unnecessary angst next season until Eddie fucking wakes up and realizes the magic he’s been trying so hard to force with Marisol, has been there all alone with Buck. Because they made it together 🥲
